Description of Work: We signed up for a garage door tune-up. They tried to sell us much more than that. That's my only complaint.

Description of Work: The torsion spring broke and the garage door would not operate. I've used Precision several times before and was very satisfied with the service. |Phoned them and received prompt service. Nick replaced the spring, nylon roller, torsion cable, center bearing & plates, end bearing & plates, drums included in the complete torsion overhaul. The door now works great. Nick is very professional, courteous and friendly. I used the $60 Angies List discount and also purchased the lifetime warranty. I will certainly use Precision in the future.

Description of Work: I initially called for storm door repair. They sent someone out for garage door repair. This was early May. The man said he'd have the office call and send correct repair person. Still haven't heard from them. I called again about 1st week of June told the person the type of repair needed. She said she'd find out if they do that type of repair (which web site says they do) and call me back. I have been waiting for that call. Nothing yet.

Description of Work: They replaced 2 garage door openers. We had 20 year old Sears Craftsman chain drive units that were going bad. They replaced them with very quiet belt drive openers. The installer was very knowledgeable and professional. A little expensive but a very good warranty and I read reviews that say they stand by their products.

Description of Work: This was a disappointing experience. I thought I was having a professional come out and check my garage door and then adjust it so it would raise and lower without the loud roller noise. When the professional arrived, he was only interested in going thru his 26 point checklist and telling me what was wrong with the door and trying to get me to purchase a new door....even when I informed him emphatically that I was not going to buy a new garage door. Then he was going to leave and I had to ask him if he was going to oil the rollers and check the spring balance...which he did after I asked. He also informed me that checking the garage door opener was not a part of checking the garage door. I have had this work done by another company and the results went much better. Personally my door was not any better then before the guy showed up.

Description of Work: New entry door and wrapping around garage doors. Generally good product and good service. Wrong door and frame was delivered, causing a six week wait for the correct door. Brass kick plate was installed on the door interior, requiring a new door slab, which extended the duration of the project further. Aside from these mistakes, salesman and technicians were friendly and professional. Fortunately, we were flexible on time. Had we needed this done on a reasonable schedule, it would have been a problem.

Precision came out, did a tune-up, replaced rollers, springs, drums and other hardware. Now the door works great. Mike, the technician, was well-spoken and explained everything clearly. He was also fast, finishing in 1.5 hours.

Description of Work: We received prompt service for the $39 garaged door tune up, and while trying to get the remotes and keypad to work correctly,, the motor on the garage door opener began to smoke and drip. It would not function at all and the service man replaced the motor, and provided new remotes, keypad and excellent service, all in less than two hrs. It was great that he had everything he needed right in his truck. I made a quick call to another garage door provided and found that the price with the lifetime warrantee was comparable.

Description of Work: Purchase new garage door and opener from Lowe's Dec 2013...Lowes sent installer out....one year 4 months door would not open. Lowes "door is four months out of warenty...bought deal for garage tune up....however door was never installed correctly. Precision door had to rebuild the fame with new roller springs etc. I now have a door the works and a life time warenty on the repairs. too bad a large company like lowes would not stand behind what they install.....Will not us LOWES again.
