The company does cold calls in neighborhoods. This is how we first came into contact with them . They pressure you to set up appointments for when both spouses are present. We had gotten 2 other estimates besides Paramount and they were 3 times higher than one and $3,000 more than the other one. We had done a lot of research, and talked to neighbors to get their opinions about the roofers they used. We were very concerned about the price, as it was so much out of range of the other companies we had talked to. The salesman that we dealt with told us that the other companies promise that your roof is under warranty, but if they don't use all the pieces and parts that Paramount uses, it voids the warranty. It was definitely a high pressure situation, when they come give you an estimate. They do not want you to sleep on it, as the estimate is good only for the time that the salesman is there. My husband and I talked privately, said a prayer and decided to go with them. One positive was that the salesman went out of his way to explain the cancellation policy to us. He led us to believe that he would lose his job if he had a cancellation, as the boss would think that he had mislead us at the sales call. After the cancellation period, we decided to stay with them. One of the things I remember from the sales call was the salesman's reiteration of how much care they take with your plants, and yard. We were told at least 3 times that they roofers use a magnet to be sure they get up all the roofing nails that might have fallen off into the shrubbery and yard. We found at least a dozen nails since they finished, and my daughter even found one in the pool 4 months later. That was a definite negative. Also, I was surprised the most by not having a follow-up call from their customer service department to see how we felt everything went. I was actually stunned about that, especially after customer care was touted as their most important service. Another disappointment... The funny thing is, they have already made more phone sales calls to see if they can do other jobs for us.... But they didn't call to see how the work that they DID actually went for us... It seems like the emphasis is on sales and the customer service suffers for that. How will we know if we made the right decision? I guess time will tell. The paperwork we signed said we have a lifetime warranty

Emilio Nunez was amazing. They did an excellent job and communicated effectively with me so that I would understand every part of the process. I am very impressed by their expertise and competence!

It went extremely well from start to finish Emili's them went out its why to complete or correct jobs which had been the responsible of other paramount personnel.

Very positive and pleasant experience from sales to finished product. Work clean was very professional and pleasant, cleaned up areas and helped replace new door bell and house number for us.

Wish I'd checked here before wasting my time TRYING to get an estimate. They insisted on setting an appointment with ALL "decision makers." I said that was me. They insisted on asking whether I was married, whether my spouse lived with me. And after responding they said that it was company policy that my spouse would have to be there. I then told the person that my spouse was not going to be available for medical reasons and that I needed the quote now. I was then run through the gauntlet about when my spouse would be available until I finally asked to speak with a supervisor. And then I got the same run around from the supervisor. I then told the supervisor that my spouse would NOT be available and asked whether they would then come meet with me to provide an estimate -- and they refused. Actually it was worse than that -- dealing with them was more like having to deal with someone in a cult who refuses to part from the cult-like script.They lost a very sizable amount of business as I intended to get more than a roof done by them. I cannot foresee any circumstances where I'd want to deal with them again -- if they are this way simply trying to get a quote, I can only imagine how they would be in dealing with them to get the job done.

Little communication between telemarkers. Many telemarkers, called us regarding work that needed to be done. Even 2 days prior to completion of installation.

They were on time, started right away, very courteous, explained how to use window and cleaned up. Removed equipment.

The crew was on time and friendly. They were very professional and down to earth people. They took the old material away and cleaned up everything with no problems. We loved how they took care of us and I love the product enough that we are

We are extremely pleased with the experience. The representative was very thorough and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable and they were able to schedule the work immediately. The downpayment was small with the balance due upon completion and our satisfaction. That policy and the life-time warranty impressed us . Other contractors wanted 1/2 up front. The workers arrived on time and were very professional. They were dressed neatly and very courteous. They answered all questions we had and completed the work on schedule.

Arrived on time. Excellent workmanship. Cleaned up when done.

rain storm with severe lightning came up that cause them to stop half way through. They returned the next day and finished the job and were working in the rain part of the time. They cleaned up after the job was completed, had us walk around and made sure we were satisfied with the installation. I again, am very pleased with the installation they did and the house looks incredible. A week after the work was completed, I notice that the storm door in the back of the house didn't lock properly because of the aluminum wrap that was applied to wood around the door frame. I called Calvin and explained the problem. They had someone out that same day to fix the problem and the door now locks properly. Once everything was done, Calvin came back and took pictures of the job (he had taken pictures before as well) and asks us if we were satisfied. Everyone involved with the job showed up when they said they were going to be there, on time, which has been a problem with other companies I've used in the past. In addition, the work & materials came with a lifetime warrenty that is transferable (once) to the next owner of the house. I was very pleased with the work this company and their employees did and would highly recommend them to anyone. While this company is not necessarily the cheapest, their quality is outstanding. I personally had rather pay a little more and get the job done right the first time (and get it done only once!). If you've ever watched a program of "Holmes on Homes" on the DIY Network, you'll know what I'm talking about!

It went very well. The work was completed in a day and there was no mess for us to clean afterwards. While the company is in Virginia Beach, VA, we dealt with a salewoman that was local and her new office is in Gainesville, VA (571) 261-9509.

My husband and I where alreading looking at places for siding for our home. When I had a knock at the door, it was a canvassor offering home improvement options from Paramount Builders Inc. He offered to set an appointment up with a sales rep for that night or another day , we decided that day would be best. The sales rep came out, was on time very polite. He talk about his company that he worked for, which by the way my husband already checked out before the sales rep came out. The sales rep spoke about the product that we were interested in and showed us his samples. Then he went outside and did a walk around with us and measured our home. We all spoke about the MANY problems that was wrong with the existing siding on our home; and there was, it was falling off and buckeling up.Then we all came back inside talked about the color and type of siding we would want. We choosed Dutchlap siding in Cape code blue color. Then we spoke about price. This is not an estamite it is an exact price. We like that. The sales rep made a phone call enough was said the deal was made. The next step is the install. The crew came out and started the tear down of my old siding, As they tour it down they replace any wood that was bad, that was good, put the new instalation up. Even better, because I had found out during the tear down I had none.The crew did the tear down and re siding of our home in one day. They cleaned up any mess and was very polite as well. What I like most about Paramount Builders Inc. is the warranty, I can pass it on to the buyer if we deside to sell our home, The people that work there are polite, and what the sales rep told me about the siding thus far as been nothing but the truth. Low to maintian if any, sound proof for the most part, I can say this to be true, I live next to an interstate, cost effective, my electic bill I love it. My property value as gone up as well. I was pleased. They did a good job. They cleaned up afterwards. They did nice corking work. I did do some shopping around. The price wasn't the lowest, but it was competitive.

I Had an overall great experience with Paramount Builders. I have made four purchases from Paramount Builders. the customer service was great, the saleman was very professional , and I believe that I received a great product for my value .I am very happy with the products that I have received from Paramount Builders , and I would recommend them to other people to have work done. I also would like to say that the work crews were on time, were courteous , and cleaned up after themselves nicely.

They did a great job, i was extremely pleased. They came out exactly when they said they would be and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them to others!

They came around shortly after I moved in; I needed the windows replaced and they were very reasonably priced with a very top-line product. They put in 9 windows and their product was very high quality; which was important to me. Their product had one of the highest energy efficiency ratings and I also like their ease of maintenance. The guys did a great job on sawing and I will use them again in the future.

I interviewed various contractors or sales people for the work i wanted to get done. Paramount Builders sales person was the one that explained the most and really believed very highly in their products and workmanship, also the price fell in line with my budget.Overall it was a positive experience.The crew was courteous and on time.Clean up afterwards was also complete.The salesperson was trustworthy and professional. We purchased two large jobs from Paramount. We were so pleased with Paramount's performance and the customer service provided by Matt, our salesperson, we used him again when we needed new windows at our 2nd home. Matt was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. My husband was very pleased with the quality of the product and I was very happy with the safety that the replacement windows ensures. With two small children, I love that they will replace a window even if my boys put a baseball through it! :) We will definitely use them again!

The Salesmen showed up to our house and didn't even know why he was there. He thought we wanted to replace our roof and when we told him we wanted siding he looked confused and flustered. Being that this was our third estimate for re-siding our house we told the salesmen that we didn't want to sit through the hour long sales pitch and we wanted to just get the estimate done and if we liked the price we'd want to get more information about their products and installation. The salesman argued with my wife about this, refused to give us an estimate before giving us the sales pitch and then he proceeded to insult her, basically telling her she was stupid. At that point I asked him to pack up and leave. A few days later I received a call from someone at their office and they did apologize for the way we were treated and offered to send another salesperson out to our house for an estimate, but we refused and haven't heard from them since. Point is don't waste your time.

Typical slick sales presentation, requiring both spouses to be present, and providing an estimate that was way over-priced yet he tried to get us to sign and submit a deposit right there on the spot. When we said we needed time to think on it, he finally left. THen we almost immediately got a call back from his manager (or some other supervisor) saying he wanted an opportunity to make a better offer, but wouldn't explain over the phone and insisted on setting up another time to come over. At this point, we had decided to go with another contractor, but they kept calling until we insisted that they remove us from their call list. I don't doubt that they provide good quality products, just did not like their approach and believe they are way over-priced.

I was very happy with the new roof. I even received a phone call a week later asking if everything was ok.

I certainly would not recommend this company, and I advise Mr Westmoreland to find a different company to work for as he is too good for this bunch.

I like the materials they used. The subcontractor was very good. They weren't on time, but they made up for it. They did a very good job. I would recommend them to others. I would give them a B overall because they showed up late.
