I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE letting them in the door. The 1st salesman was very friendly, and gave me a good education on what it would take to redo a 2,200 square foot roof. I told him I was just trying to get an estimate of what to expect. Roof needs replaced, but not dire. Wanted me to finance, but I refused a credit option. He continued to pushed, called his "boss", and seemed more concerned about "...it's the last day of the month...". Trying to reach quota? The initial estimate was $17,900, then after talking with the boss got dropped to $13,000. The next day I received 4 calls from their area code and didn't pick up. I then picked up an unknown number for another area code and it was them. They wanted to offer to reduce the cost by eliminating all the "commission" because they wanted to crack into my neighborhood. The second salesman would have to come back out and re-measure the roof. I agreed, but have just read these reviews and CANCELED. I did feel pressure. If he does "show up", I'll let the pit bull bark at the door until he goes away!

I called them and told them to quit coming back to my door. They kept on coming by and telling me what is wrong with my house. They even commented on my windows. This was after I got new windows.

Terrible. This company preys on the uneducated. Do not sign a contract with them. In fact, they won't even give you pricing until you sign a contract. Do not fall for discounting/marketing discount gimmicks. We kicked them out after 20 minutes of their spiel. We will never ask them to bid on anything again.

An incredibly bad experience right from the start. I set up an appointment for a reroofing estimate because a friend had recommended this company and was pleased with their work. The first salesman called to say that he was stuck in traffic, (which was incredibly bad that Friday) and would be about 2 hours late. As I could not wait for that period of time I cancelled. The first salesmam said that his next availability would beon Monday, which I could not make. He said that the company could send out a second representative the next day so I accepted that offer andset up a time on Saturday afternoon. The reprsentative showed up on time but immediately starting complaining on how long he had to drive to get to our residence and he was not sure if it was worth the drive. He stated that he expected my wife to be at this "presentation" and I told him that was not the case as she had another appointment. To representative was intent on making a full on presentation for all the thing the company coud install, I interupted to state that I was only interested in re-roofing services and was looking for an estimate. He seemed to be a bit perplexed and said he would do that. he went outside, measured the square footage and came in a gave me the estime to re-shingle the roof. He did not look at the roof nor did he ask me if there were any problems with the existing roof. It appears that since I did not want to hear the presentation he was only going to provide me with the barest of estimates. he quoted me a price of $11,000.00 for just the shingle install. That ws about $4500.00 higher than any of the previous four estimates I had received from other comanies He stated that he would e-mail me a complete estimate but I have yet to received that. Overall, dealing with this representaive from this company wasan exremely poor experience. So although I have seen an example of their roofing work, which appears to be very well done, I will not recommend this company for any type of work.

very pushy, very annoying follow-up, very serious attempts to go far beyond what was requested

Well dressed young lady came to give estimate. Asked her where her ladder was and she said she does not go on roofs. I asked her how she could give an estimate if she doesn't go on the roof and her reply was she was with the Marketing Dept. and would give an estimate after we sat down and she explained how they install roofs. Luckily, I was outside when she arrived and told her we could sit down and talk after she figured the estimate. She said, "that's not how we do it" and again asked to go inside. I concur with the comment of 5/31/2013. This was an attempt at a sales pitch. Would not recommend this company.

I declined service because of the extreme cost.

When the guy from Paramount Builders came and told us about the roof and also the gutters that we had put on, we asked if having the gutters put on first which seem really necessary, was going to interfere or be bad when it was time for the roof to be put on. He said it will be fine and it will just pops back in. So the gutters were done by some gutter company. The roofers came and everything was fine. I have never felt that the gutters went back into place. So my only feeling is not with the roof itself, except the man wanted the business. He said its fine and honestly, why we didn’t have the roof done first no matter what and then the gutters, I’ll never know. We have a couple of places where the gutters don’t seem to run straight and we had them back once and they tried to fix something or they thought they did. It’s not a 100% in my mind. The roof is fine and the service was good as far as people clean up and all that stuff was fine. I wish the roof had been done and then the gutters put there after. For their neatness and feed and all those things, I would recommend them. If somebody from them called, I do believe it was an enough time for my husband did tell them that we didn’t think the gutters were a 100% and they sent somebody again but I don’t that any different happened. As far as finances go, I’m really not that aware. It always feels like more than you hope you have to pay. Everything was done professionally. They were prompt. If you have any question or have a complaint, they are very good on taking care of whatever you say.

Great installer, Tracy Holland, great customer service and outstanding craftsmanship. I would highly recommend asking for Tracy.

Could not start on expected date due to bad weather but did show the next day despite bad weather. Did not let the weather slow down the project!

Extremely aggressive marketers -- beware. Tried to cancel the initial visit for an estimate. Called the office and they were amenable to the cancellation. Then the estimator shows up the next day anyway. Felt bad about it so I invited him in to look at what I thought was small work -- replace a small kitchen window and a patio door. Estimate was provided on the spot -$12,000. Wow!!!!!!! Thanked him for his time and the next thing I knew, the estimate came down to $9,000 and then about $6,500 which was couched as "if you pay for the door, we will throw in the window for free." So, I guess a patio door costs $6,500 -- very expensive when compared to Home Depot or Lowe's. This did not set well with me. Thanked him for his time and his service (a retired Soldier). A couple of days later, I get a call from Paramount saying the estimates were way too high and they wanted to send out another guy. I agreed, but after thinking about it, tried to cancel again. He shows up. Very well dressed and professional in appearance, but I told him no....several times. I wound up having the window replaced by a small contractor for $431. Patio door was repaired not replaced. Builder has high marks form other patrons, but would recommend that you get some competitive estimates to make sure you aren't over paying.

During the fall of 2012, we were contacting several contractors to get estimates on new siding. We had Paramount come to our home, and made it clear we were ONLY getting estimates and not prepared to sign papers. The salesman made his pitch, and left. A week later, we received a call and were told that the first salesman could not offer their best price, and they wanted to send another salesman to offer a better price. So we agreed and he came to our house. We listened AGAIN to the salespitch but he never gave us another price. We told him, again, that we were not ready to sign papers to do the work, and when he finally realized we meant that, he got upset, and left our home, and refused to give us another, lower estimate. At this point, we had decided not to use this company. However, in the months since this happened, Paramount has called us on a regular basis to ask if we are ready to do the work!! We have asked them to stop calling us, and even reminded them that we are on the government's "Do Not Call" list. Yet they persist in calling us to do this work. We felt very pressured during the sales calls and harrasssed by the followup calls. Be careful!

From the start to finish, everyone was professional and courteous. They will install the remainder of our windows.

They are a large firm. They wanted to do more work than what we really wanted. They were pushing to do more work. They weren't coordinating their activities between their contractors. There were different people that came out and didn't know when the other one was supposed to come out & didn't know that they were supposed to do certain work. We weren't told when they would come up and they just showed up. It was not a good experience. The quality of the work was good. We enjoyed the work that they did, but it was just their communication lacking. The people didn't respond to the job. They didn't communicate with the customers about when somebody was going to be out there when they didn't. The price was high. We were a little displeased with them. There were different aspects of professionalism. When we brought it to their attention that they were not communicating between each other, they started to make excuses.

Cris and Terry came to the house to do estimate and explained everything in detail. The crew came out 4 days cater and completed it all within three days. They did a great job.

Their estimate for over twice the cost of the next best estimate for a similar product. We almost did not get an estimate because the first rep they sent left my house without giving an estimate when I told him we had an estimate for a very similar product. The next day they called and asked if they could send out a different rep. Since they provided me with an estimate they have called me dozens of times. At first the caller ID said Paramount Builders. Then when I stopped answering their calls, they started calling with different caller IDs. They continue to call. Sometimes multiple times per day.

Professionalism was the operative word throughout each meeting to write up the job order, and the installations job. The quality of Preservation Windows along with Provia Doors are second to none. The highest of quality and the reason for such an excellent warranty. When it comes to a product line, Mr Augustine acquires only top of the line. You will not be disappointed.

Paramount Builders Incorporated was responsive. They did a high quality work and they were quick.

They are a little expensive but they are well worth it. One of the workers is a perfectionist, and wanted to get everything just right and I appreciated that. I have been using them for a number of years. They treat you the way they are suppose to be treated.

Wonderful, fast yet quality installation.

Job done in a professional manner, just plain quality job.
