The experience was wonderful starting with Justin (gentleman who sold us the windows) and all of the crew who installed them. We are getting siding next. But we want green, fix the color problem please. Thank you!

The sales person, Matt, was wonderful! Always followed up and was very professional. He was excellent! From beginning to end, the service was great.

Everyone at Paramount Builders was very friendly and easy to work with - from start to finish. Both Randy (who presented/showed the windows) and the install team (Howard and Mitch) were on-time, professional and courteous. Even the General Manager, Jimmy, called us two weeks after the install to ask how the windows were working for us. All very nice! I'd definitely ask for Howard and Mitch to install your windows. They were great! They were fast, but not rushed. They chatted with us a little, but not too much. The windows were pricey, but windows are. There's no way around that if you want quality windows. I have confidence that if I have any problems in the future, the service team will be responsive.

A crew of 7 showed up early in the morning and got right to work. Pulled off all old shingles and tar paper and replaced rotted/damaged wood. Cleaned up after and got it all done in ONE day. The attention to detail and warranty make it worth every penny.

Paramount was totally professional, prompt, courteous, and have a great product. Sales team measured the windows, and prior to installation, the operations team sent a crew member to verify the measurements Installation team was on time and very professional I have also had them install other windows and plan to have a total of 18 windows installed Additionally, they installed a storm door on the front of the house and replaced all my soffit and facie around the house

When we said no to the bid there was an entire afternoon wasted in a high pressure sales pitch.

The work went very well indeed. The trim team arrived when expected and left without leaving any mess for us to worry about. The work looks excellent & we are looking forward to many years without having to do any further maintenance on them. With impending rain (we had 6 inches the following week) the gutter crew came out on a Saturday and worked a very long day to get that work completed before the deluge arrived ... thanks very much guys!!! Overall we are very happy with Paramount starting with the Sales Rep Jeromy thru to the production teams that did a great job!!

The first visit and presentation was very good and informative. The installation was done in a very professional manner. We were particularly pleased with the prompt communication with us concerning our questions and the installation of windows. The installers did a very good job in a timely manner and professional way. They completed with a thorough clean up. I would not hesitate to use this company for services again.

This is a update to a negative review based on our latest visit from a company representative. Our initial contact with this company was negative because of their aggressive marketing department. We had a salesman over to our house for a presentation and despite that fact that it was clear we were a year a way from any work, we were looking for pricing, they were very persistent to make a sale. The company was informed of our timetable before the visit. They also called several times in the ensuing months. This is not a reason to avoid their work, just take that for what it is worth. With that said, after making my displeasure clear, they have done everything they could to resolve the issue. They issued an apology and provided a competitive quote we were looking for. I am quite impressed with their response to negative feedback and their ability to turn a detractor into a positive experience. We have not had work done by this company yet so I cannot comment on their work. What I can say however is that we are strongly considering them based on other positive reviews of their work quality. They are concerned with customer satisfaction and it is clear they will go to extensive lengths to remedy a mistake.

Paramount is neither the cheapest nor most expensive, but he work they do looks great. The materials and parts all seem to be durable and well-fit--noticeably more so than those from a big chain home improvement store. We have been pleased with the work each of the three times in the past, enough so that we have now contracted with them to do our siding. They make sure before-hand that you are getting what you want, with samples, pictures and discussions. Everyone is always on time and courteous, with good clean-up afterwards. If you can get Johnny to do your trim, you will be pleased with the results.

Installation was terrific, the process went very smooth from the sales and installation. The Beau, the sales representative was very informative of the products and set us up with a great deal. The windows are very well constructed and have helped lower our energy bill. The installation team was very professional, the team was very efficient because they were installed in the winter time and they cleaned up after themselves and took the old windows with them and I really couldn't tell that they were there after the work was done.

A beautiful plan, step by step. The roofing guys were right on time, and the siding guys were right behind them, right on schedule. Cleaned up perfectly.

Sales Representative: After reading one negative review and the explanation of Paramount Builders, my wife and I were a little hesitant to keep our appointment. However, after the initial introductions and the no pressure approach by the sale representative, we decided to discuss what Paramount had to offer. The representative was very thorough explaining the advantages of using Paramount products and what made them "stand out" among the competition. Since my wife and I had already done some research, Paramount's products were unique and the quality was well above the home improvement stores chain of products. The demonstrations were impressive to say the least. We purchased the windows, siding, gutters and front “grand entry” door with the full glass transom and full oval. Each component of our contract was assigned to a different work group specialist so we had 4 different work crews completing the work on our house. Each group makes an initial on-site survey and completes measurements for their particular assigned job. One issue that stood out more than others: there seems to be a lack of complete communication between the sales representative and the workers who completed the installation. The sales rep was very thorough in drafting up our work order; however, the types of questions asked by the independent crews indicated some work details were not properly conveyed. If there is an issue/problem, there should be one representative within the company to address customer complaints. As a customer, I should not have to call different representatives – especially with the amount of money spent on this project! Window installation: For the most part, the window installers were very good installing all our windows. However, more care should be taken during removal and installation to avoid possible damage to personal property or landscaping. I realize some minor damage can occur, however, the installers were less inclined until specifically asked to be careful. In addition, they were specifically asked to keep our gates closed because of our dogs. Unfortunately, a gate was left open and our retriever decided to take advantage to investigate the neighbors’ yard. Fortunately, we were able to get her back into the yard. After a few “words” with the installers, they were more “receptive” to our request. It took 2 full days to complete the installation of 15 windows. Although our siding was half off, the look completely transformed the exterior, our house looked GREAT even with much of the older siding in disarray. We were told after the windows were installed, the installers would provide a one-on-one operational review of each new window and make any adjustments to “tweak” opening/closing. This was not done. None of the windows were cleaned after installation other than what seemed to be a quick swipe with a rag. Unfortunately, almost all the windows have swirl marks that we are still trying to remove. We did turn down Paramount’s offer to send out cleaners, however, we thought how hard could it be to clean a window? It seems the windows are shipped with a film to help protect the surface. The windows still need some work, but almost sparkling clean? We are not there yet. The sales representative also told us, the windows were basically self-cleaning; not really. The grounds cleanup could have been better as we did find many nails pulled from the siding bordering the windows. Recently, we have also noticed some of the caulking separating, inside and outside – this should not be happening so close to installation. I should not be inspecting and re-caulking this close to a new installation. I would recommend Paramount provide customers with a couple of tubes of caulking for repairs; or do it properly the first time. Vinyl Siding: The installation team was very talented and did a phenomenal job installing the siding. Besides the weather causing some minor delays, the installation was completed in about 5 full days. From the keystone decorative trim, soffit vent work, and all trim work in general was stunning. Our garage and first floor windows all had foam decorative keystones that were replaced with formed aluminum decorative pieces. These look fantastic! All exterior trim work around lights, faucets, out-lets were all replaced with matching trim. The crew also installed the new exterior lighting that we had purchased. The crew did a very nice job returning everything on the exterior of the house back to its original state. Similar to the window installer, they could have done a little better picking up all the nails. I would recommend the use of a metal detector to assist picking up all the nails. Gutters: This was the quickest installation and took about 4 hours. We had the extra-large gutters installed to avoid using gutter guards and they look great! The crew did a nice job of cleaning and was careful around all the landscaping. Entry Door: We had a full view; steel insulated door installed with full view transoms. It’s too bad this door was not installed during the same timeframe as our siding. Although the installer did a very nice job, the artisans who installed the siding did much better trim work. The sales representative told us that the crew who did the original trim work would complete the door trim; not the case, the installer completed the work. There is a noticeable difference. There was also a dent on the left transom trim work. When we told the installer that was not there before the door install, he was very quick to reply he didn’t do it. Caulking again was an issue – separating and not fully sealed in some areas. Overall, we are satisfied with the work. I am a stickler for minute details and with this expensive home improvement project; I would have expected nothing but perfection.

2 young men went door to door in the neighborhood trying to set appointments for a salesman to make a presentation. We discussed their window and siding products. I rebutted their energy savings claims as I am a HERS rater and BPI Building Analyst and I am well aware of how much energy these products could save. I did agree to a garage door estimate but they required that their salesman come into the home to make a presentation. I only wanted an estimate and spec sheets for the door, I did not want to deal with a detailed demonstration as I was in the building trades for many years. Their appointment setter then cancelled the appointment. Be forewarned, this company sells very expensive products that will not save the homeowner the energy they claim. I have had experience with companies like this. They will make a very long presentation and do everything they can to get you and your spouse to sign on the dotted line that day.

They did a good job but the work took longer than I was hoping. When the work was done I was satisified and I have no complaints.

Paramount's sales representative gave us a great price for a superior product. The installation crew was fantastic, timely, cleaned up, and went above our expectations.

In late June, I contacted several companies to come by and provide an estimate for a new roof. Paramount was the first one I contacted, and they came by that evening. From the get-go, I didn't like the sales pitch or price. There were two sales people, a guy and a woman. One of them mentioned $22K as he walked in the door, which immediately sounded ridiculous. My roof is very simple, low pitch, standard asphalt shingles, about 30 by 60 feet, pretty standard for this area, etc. Right away, they put me on the defensive. The guy started running down a list with questions like "what do I expect from a roof", what kind of quality should a roof have, etc. This was before I even really had a chance to say what I called them for. I was being forced to provide answers designed to lead me into their sales pitch. This was nothing more than a high-pressured sales tactic, and my first thought was to show them the door. However, I decided to entertain the sales pitch. I thought their tactics were rude. Its one thing to get this kind of high-pressure on a car lot, but I don't expect someone to barge into my home with this sort of tactic. A bit later, one of the salesmen ventured that the roof wasn't going to cost over $20K. Wow!!! (sarcasm intended) They preceded to give me the entire pitch, complete with samples and brochures, etc. They try to make you believe that if you don't buy their roof, any other roof is going to fall apart in a year or two, with the installers having skipped town. One point they emphasized, was that they use 5 nails per shingle, as no one else does. Guess what? A check of the roof codes on VB.gov requires, you guessed it... 5 nails per shingle! After haggling for the two and 1/2 hours, we finally went from $20K to $14K(Their "we aren't really making any money here, price"). This was after the infamous (just like a car dealer), "clear it with my manager" phone call. After I was assured that if I signed a contract, I had a week to cancel it, I did sign it(I know, give me a break, it was the first offer!). I later went over to my Sister's house and told her I had contracted for a new roof. Her first words were: "Please don't tell me it was Paramount Builders". She told me she had signed a contract with them once and canceled it the next day because they were way over-priced. She ended up going with Pyramid roofers. So guess what? Yes, the very next morning I canceled my contract. Someone called later that day and tried to talk me out of canceling, but I didn't. Their tactic is to get you to sign a contract that day. They try to make you believe that if you don't sign then and there, you will never get such a good "price" again. In total, I got four estimates. One was from a relative who does roofing, but who didn't have the time. His estimate was $7000, and he said he charges a lot. Pyramid roofing estimated about $6000. They are a well known company, and this is less than one half of Paramount's "rock bottom" price! I ended up going with "JMontez" for much less than $6000. He is a local roofer who has done roofs for Homearoma. I got everything I wanted, hi-def shingles, ridge vent, heavy duty tar paper, "5 nails per", etc, all at a great price and a good job. It only took about five hours. I'm totally happy with the roof. In my opinion, Paramount Builders is only there to make as much money as possible and pad their pockets with your hard-earned cash. Their focus is on themselves. I consider myself a savvy consumer, but I was almost taken in by them. Imagine the more gullible types who will be. Do yourself a favor and get 3 or 4 estimates before committing. Its easy to weed out the ridiculous ones. Don't fall for the high pressure tactics of "Paramount Builders". Better yet, don't even invite them in.
