They arrived early and were very courteous. Went right to work, did excellent job and cleaned up everything.

I never used this company not do to anything they did or did not do. I cancelled the appointment as not to waste there time or mine since I was not ready to start the project. A call was made to cancel the appointment. During that call they asked if they could contact me in the future and I said no. That is when the frustration started. Since their approach or sale tactic is low pressure sales it was very frustrating to receive call after call after call. Each time I explained that I was not ready and asked to please remove me from the call list. It took no less than 4 calls to get then to stop. I'm not sure if this gives any insight into the company. You make that decision.

The production team was on time and did a very quick and great installation. No problems!

Two kids came to the door and gave me big prices. The Paramount guy had a similar price as the other guy so I talked to him for a while and gradually got the price down to what I’m looking at which I thought was a reasonable price. So the sales pitch wasn’t too bad. Then I told them I was going to make some modifications on the roof to have them do plumbing vents and that the roofing will have to wait until the plumbing was done. I paid them 50% down and told them I needed them to come back. They kept pushing me to come out because they wanted the second half of the contract. Finally, they came out and it started to rain after they began the work. But they started putting the materials and told me it was not a problem because they were going to put tarps if it started to rain. It began to rain hard and they kept working. I had the warranty materials and I had read applying the material over a wet roof or wet deck voids the warranty. So I told them not to do the work because of that. The foreman said, “Well, anything you say. You’re the boss.” They should know what would void the warranty because they’re the roofers. By that time, water was dripping on the living room. They put tarps on it and came back the next day to finish the job. I can’t complain about the roofing work. The part of the package was new shingles. They just ripped the shingles out and threw it on the ground and I thought that was sloppy and irresponsible. They also replaced the soffit as part of the contract. I asked them to do the soffit on the front of the house and they said no because it doesn’t say they should do the front of the house. I think they are good roofers but the subcontractors were the ones that ripped the screwed in brackets out of the fascia. But when they were through, the foreman came up to me and told me they needed me to fill out this opinion form as to what I thought of their work. It had a lot of different questions. I told him that I haven’t inspected their work yet. Then he got visibly agitated and angry and told me that because of me, he’s not going to get paid that day. So I told him I will fill it out and if his boss is not going to pay him for that day because he didn’t come back with that questionnaire, I’m going to pay him his salary for that day. I was pissed. By then, he has a $6,000 check and just turns his back and basically ran down the driveway angry. The gutter they put up looks good. I think the product is okay. I could get equally well-don work without the heartburn. The value was okay and reasonable.

Please see our "F" review dated January 22, 2014. Since then we have had two more visits to our door and two more phone calls from cell phones. If you contact these people, God help you. They will never stop. You have been warned!

As a returning customer, they were professional. When they arrived they went straight to work removing the old sliding door we had. Finishing up, they cleaned up after the work was completed. In all, it took about 2-3 hours.

We didn't hire them they didn't respond to our requests to leave us alone and clearly they don't have very good interoffice communication because as soon as we told one paramount rep no thanks another one was calling from a different cell number!

It went good. They were on time. They did a good work and they followed up. They cleaned up. Their prices were definitely reasonable compared to the others. I would recommend them and I would use them in the future. The only thing I didn't like is that they didn't take credit cards.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all questions thoroughly. His crew was equally professional.

Everything went smoothly. Nice and polite workmen.

Very slick salesman. Pulled up in a BMW and had a slick dressed lackey. Wanted to discuss gutters but my wife wasn't home. Said that they would come back when she was home. They wanted me to be able to make a decision right away. Sure enough, they came back after a few hours. My wife was still not home. He gave me a quote. I told them that i would get other quotes off of Angie's List and make a decision. Salesperson offered to drop the quote by 10% if i would agree to the job and sign on the dotted line. I declined. He wrote the quote down on a scrap of paper with his first name and a number. He didn't have a business card because he said he did not believe in them. Then the phone calls started. I kept getting the same lady. She wasnt rude but after too many calls i just stopped answering. They would call late too.

Before you consider this contractor, take a look at page 4 of the reviews. After repeatedly telling these people to leave me alone, I keep getting phone calls. They use cell phones so you don't know who is calling. Anyone who uses paramount should be ready to hear from them on a regular basis for the rest of your life whether you need them or not. For your own piece of mind, if you need repair, call someone else.

They double-teamed me. Two men came. The initial price took my breath away. I know my face gave it away, I gave them a double take. It was over $12,000 to replace rotted fascia boards/ soffits and gutter work; (it's a 1532sqft little home); most of the work would have been in the front. It lasted close to 5 hours. I know how to say what I think, and firmly. But they 'got my back up' after a while and I guess, subconsciously, I was going to show them they weren't going to run me down and get their way. But every single time I said I have to think about this, I don't have that kind of money (for it), the one got on the phone 'with his boss' ( these times on his phone , by the way, was him being silent- hardly saying a word), and though some small amount of work was taken off, the price went noticeably down. I have no speech impediment, mind you; I started saying in no uncertain terms and very seriously, No, I can't do this now; and - unbelievably (perhaps Google sales tactics and see how this matches) - instead of respecting my right not to engage their service- unbelievably, every time I said very clearly and seriously, No, I can't do this (work) at this time, (just that statement; I didn't apologize; I didn't go into why) he ignored my incredulous look and got back on his phone, and the price went down. Finally I said to myself, any legitimate person would have been tired of hearing me say the same things over and over and would not want to ' burn bridges'; so if they don't get up and leave this time, I'm calling the police. Really; what else was there to do when I said over and over and over and... that I was not going to have the work done at all? Mind readers, they are, then they finally left-- but only after packing their stuff up nice and neat. It's been several years after that, at least 3 years. Twice a year they hire some poor unknowing young person to go door-to-door; after YEARS of immediately cutting the person off by clearly saying "NO", it only stopped after I plastered (unsightly-looking) signs on my door that say 'NO SILICITATION'. If they were the last company in these United States of America left to do any work to upkeep a house that I can't do myself, my house would eventually be declared uninhabitable and one day fall down by itself. Provider required both husband and wife be present to sign contract (unprofessional). Gave false (overage) measurements based on only a 'walkaround' . Never went on the roof. A complete waste of time. See Angie's list about roofing scams..... This company seems to fall right in.

first off, the cold calls were very persistent, coincidentally, we were getting estimates for a new roof anyway and decided to let them into our home. the first rep came and gave a price 3x's the amount of any of the other 4 estimates. that was a problem right from the start. the rep understood that we can't afford that amount and would not be interested in going further. a few days later we get a phone call from someone who claimed to be from paramount to inform us that her manager wanted to come personally and discuss the "lower" cost and persisted for a time until I finally gave in. I told her on the phone the average amount of the other estimates and didn't want anyone to waste my time if they are any more than $500 from where we are with the others, she said that he will only need 10 minutes to talk. I thought we could give a listen because we love the windows they put in, and the roofing could be just as good. when the other rep came to my house, he was there for an hour, saying the same thing about how there's is better, etc....over and over again and never got to the point. when I finally had enough and got upset with him, he said that the price of $14,200 was firm and could not understand how anyone can do it cheaper, that I would get ripped off, etc..... I showed him the estimates and references from the others. he then decided to end the conversation and asked that we not call paramount for anything and asked why I would waste his time. I got more defensive and told him that he was wasting my time as well because the lady on the phone said he wanted to talk to us. we all agreed to be professional and polite, no hard feelings, then he left. that is my second experience with roof estimates with paramount, the first was about 4 years ago from a cold call, and it was de'javu all over again.

Overall it was not a bad experience. The sales pitch was very persistent, and since having the roofing work done we've had numerous sales pitch calls for more work, in spite of telling them that it will be at least another year before we've paid off the most recent job and will be able to have more work done, up to and including having sales people show up on our doorstep despite no-soliciting signs. However, since the roof was leaking only in spots, they were very flexible about only doing part of the roof, vs the whole thing at once, and in the end the cost and financing charges were less than estimated, so on that account I am happy. That said however, the actual work was a mix of good and bad. They showed up early, which I'll call neutral, since I am NOT a morning person, and was rudely awakened by the pounding of hammers on my roof. We were unable to trim back all of the trees overhanging the sunroom roof, and they were able to trim them back while they were on the roof, which was great. The bad: we were promised that they "cleaned up" after themselves, including using high powered magnets to pick up all the roofing nails from the job - and that they did NOT do. Instead the workers (migrant workers - not one of them spoke more than pidgen English) used their hands to pick up the lose nails, and when I asked about the magnets they nodded, so I left them to it, and assumed the job would get done. However, we are now almost 6 months out from the job being done and I just today stepped on yet ANOTHER roofing nail on my deck right behind the sunroom. Overall, I'll give them a B - but be warned, they are pushy and they don't necessarily do what they say when it comes to clean up.

window installation was fabulous. Very clean, quick, answered any and all questions. We also purchased siding, but we weren't quite ready for the installation. They had to hold our materials in the warehouse for many months... once we were finally ready, we scheduled a date but then weather set us back again. The frustrating part was that they needed it to be dry for a couple days, with NO forecast of rain... so we were pushed back and then pushed back again. The last time they wanted to push us back 3 weeks... at that point, our house was half exposed due to some other work. We told them that was unacceptable and they were able to squeeze us in. The crew that came out was excellent... they did great work, cleaned up nicely, answered all questions, explained options... We had a couple issues and another crew came out and quickly resolved them. I have no complaints except I felt the warehouse and the crew didn't always communicate well... other than that, I would use them again and I would recommend them.

Our house has a large roof space and is very high-pitched. Although we thought our old roof was installed correctly, when Paramount took off the old siding, we saw that there had been no flashing installed around our dormers, and the chimney area had little flashing. (No wonder we had a few leaks! ) Not only did Paramount take time to make the flashing just right, but they also installed special material where rooflines join each other. The work done resulted in a beautiful roof (to match our beautiful siding which they also installed). We will continue to return to Paramount Builders for all future services. In this day, it's unusual to find such a personable, responsive business that also provides quality materials and workmanship! I was actually surprised to find out how large this company really is, because it operates like a smaller one that recognizes and takes care of its customers. They sell high-quality products, so their prices may be a little higher. Don't let that scare you away; their warranties and willingness to return to fix anything is worth every penny!

The process went smoothly from sales rep to measurement to installation

Since then, we have received numerous phone calls to try to get the job even though we told them time and time again the job was done by another company. They stopped using their office phone and called us on a cell phone so your call-waiting doesn't show its them. Just received another call today. This is almost 6 months later and God only knows how many harassing phone calls. Do not contact them or they will never give you any peace.

The sales team was prompt & responsive. I ordered 23 windows and delayed installing all but 7. The initial 7 were installed in about 3 hours. Job was done well. I'll schedule the remaining windows now.

Kenny was very professional and efficient, while at the same time personable and very nice and patient with out 3 year old.

Paul and his crew were on time, excellent work and very polite. Clean up nicely.

The builder were very good at what they do.

The product was installed perfectly - the staff arrived on time window are beautiful & better than I antiucipated.
