Crew came on time & finished in 2 days.

I had a leaky window and requested Paramount come out to provide an estimate. Instead, the salesman was more interested in his sales pitch and telling me about his family than actually providing an estimate. The sales pitch was going on for almost and hour and I was extremely frustrated. He hadn't even hardly looked at the damage yet and was quoting me the highest priced windows on the market. The salesman was rude and pushy. On top of this, I have had multiple phone calls from them trying to sell me work again over the last six months. I am not sure how many times I can tell them I'm not interested. They are the most expensive people in this area...best look somewhere else for the work.

Paramount insists that both spouses be present. My husband had set up the appointment, but then I was not feeling well, so he thought he had cancelled it. Nevertheless, the agent showed up at 5:30 p.m., so we agreed to talk with him. He was in our home for more than 3 hours! At the end of that time, he quoted us a price of $50,000+, then said he would discount it by $17,000 but only if we signed a contract right then. We told him that we did not want to spend that amount of money without seeing the roof on an actual house, so he agreed to send us some addresses of homes with the roof colors we were considering, and would hold the price until Monday. Sure enough, on Friday he sent my husband the addresses of two homes in Norfolk, which is an hour away from where we live. On Saturday, we drove to Norfolk to see the two roof colors. One neighborhood was so sketchy, with people loitering in the middle of the street, that my husband did not even want to turn down the street, but on second thought, we did a quick drive by. The other house was in a slightly better neighborhood, but tiny homes. Neither house had the color of roof we were considering. Now Paramount is calling and says that they want to make our house a "showcase" home in Williamsburg, and will greatly reduce the cost of the roof if they can put a sign in our yard for 6 weeks, once the roof is on, to advertise their company. This morning, a lady from the company called again, wanting to know if we would still be interested, in being a "showcase" home. I told her that even if the roof were free, there is no way that I would trust these people to do what they promised, given our experience. The agent did tell us that they had a lot of reviews on Angie's list, so after he left, I decided to see what others had said. Maybe if you need some other kind of home repairs, they are a good company, but I read a review by someone who had almost the same experience that we had. I'm not sure I would have thought to look on Angie's list, if the agent hadn't brought that up. So if you want to become Paramount's "showcase" home in Williamsburg, by all means give them a call, because, in the words of this woman this morning, her sales manager is "salivating" at the idea of having the Williamsburg market. Just remembered: the agent lives in a very nice neighborhood in Williamsburg, but did not offer for us to come and look at his roof......

From the first contact with Paramount's representative we were impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. The quality of their product far surpassed any other we had seen. It was a little more expensive than some but we feel well worth it. The insulation factor is amazing. We already notice the difference in sound reduction and temperature maintenance - the air conditioner hasn't needed to work as hard. Our home had several areas where wood trim needed to be replaced. The team sent to work on our house was on time, professional and very courteous. Their skill and knowledge gave us a great deal of confidence. During the week-long project, my husband had to be hospitalized. The Paramount team was understanding of my need to be away some of time. They were always responsive to any questions I had about the job. There was a second team that came to replace our gutters. They also did an outstanding job and even set up our rain barrels again. Once the job was completed the siding team said they would come back when my husband was out of the hospital to make sure he was also satisfied with their work. They were true to their word and called to make sure he was well and to see if there were any concerns. My husband only had one concern which was addressed the next day. Our house looks wonderful! Our neighbors are full of compliments. We highly recommend Paramount Builders.

Why did I get a call last night at 8:50 PM from a business I have done no business with? Their sales team sound like they were having a party on the other end of the line and decided to start drunk dialing numbers they'd collected. The salesperson rambled on about blah blah blah and wouldn't take no for an answer. I try not to make a habit of hanging up on people, but I didn't have time to be on the phone and just listen while this person clearly had no interest in me and was just probably just checking off numbers on a list. But why so late?! I don't want Paramount Builders Inc's services, and I especially don't want to be called at night after dinner or after my children are asleep.

Over all great experience with workers and job performed.

It was a great experience. They came early, worked hard and cleaned everything up. Nice courteous people. Felt comfortable with them working in our home.

All personal contact was excellent.

Two representatives came out and gave a presentation of their products and wrote up a quote for complete replacement of ALL windows in our two story house. At that time, we didn't have funding for a complete redo. Paramount offered that if we signed a contract at that meeting, they would replace the windows on the front of the house now and replace the windows on the back of the house at a later date at the remaining price. We paid for the windows on the front of the house at that meeting and with a handshake they agreed to honor that price to get the back windows replaced when we were ready. It took several weeks to get the windows fabricated, which we thought was reasonable amount of time. It was two day install with no issues and the installers arrived on time. About 30D later, we contacted Paramount to see about having the remaining windows replaced. Paramount sent one of the original salesman out and the quote to finish the remaining windows on the back of the house was increased about 1.6K over the quote he gave us three months prior. We were told the original quote was not valid due to the installers charged Paramount for services and materials Paramount didn't figure in the original quote and 'we got a really good deal'. Paramount wouldn't budge off their newly revised quote, and we elected to go with another business to complete the replacement.

There were a few problems but the crew were & did their best to correct them.

Howard & Mitch were on time. Very professional. Walked me through the work that was done. Very pleased.

Installers arrived on time and worked quickly removing the old windows and getting the new ones installed.

Paramount Builders arrived promptly, worked well and completed the installation in good time. They were courteous and very professional.

Arrived on time. Very organized. Communicated thoroughly through out entire process.

Mitch and Howard were on time, courteous, fast, efficient, Quality workers answered my questions and clean.

They arrived early a.m. Work done well. Beautiful door. Answered all my questions, informed me what they were doing.

Joe the contractor installed the new railings on my porch, was on time and did excellent work. At least a little more than I wanted to pay but the finished product is just beautiful.

Very professional, courteous crew that was clean and meticulous. The installation was delayed due to factory problems, but was worth the wait.

Came over early in the morning and got it all done quickly. Joe was very nice and even helped accommodate my puppies when they wanted to see him. Awesome overall.

Guys showed up on time and went right to work. Front door was a little bigger than the other door, but the guys got it all in and it looks great. They even mopped my floor when they were done.
