The installers showed up within the scheduled time they began work immediately. All windows and the door were in place within 5 hours and done very efficiently/professionally. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all the debris and dust and stuff.

Called ahead and were on time, very polite and great customer service. Finished product looks great.

Mr. Jack Shipman came to our house, introduced himself, was very nice to talk to and described the product. Took measurements and gave us an estimate. He was a pleasure to talk to from start to finish about job.

I would not do services with a company that states they can give you an estimate but declined unless they could speak to both of us. It was a bad experience. It reminds me of going to a car dealership dealing with a bunch of shenanigans.

The salesperson arrived on time and was friendly, described the "roofing system" and why no other company provides the roof Paramount does/all other roofers are unprofessional. Then, after almost 2 hours of presentation, provided the estimate. I asked for a roof and gutters. He quoted the price of the roof (no gutters)--just over $26,000!!! I laughed (not professional of me, but when all but two other estimates I've gotten were under $8,000 (including gutters and using the same shingle) it seemed like a mistake. He then offered to do the roof for just under $22,000 (he wouldn't leave the written quotes so I don't have the exact numbers) if I'd put a sign in my yard and sign the contract that day. When I said we couldn't afford it, he called his manager and the manager (speaking very loudly on the phone, loud enough where I could hear), said some very unkind things about "the kind of person I must be" and how "better not to take on a client like me". The salesman could tell I heard, apologized and left quickly after...sharing that he understood budgets, they're on the high side, and we should call again to at least use their gutter system because none are better. Overall, the price is more than 3x what everyone else had told me the roof should cost to replace and the "manager's" comments on the other end of the phone were uncalled for. Therefore, I can't recommend Paramount.

cThey did what they agreed to do. I can't really complain. The actual work was performed by a sub contractor. The sub had some issues, the most serious af which was hardly his fault, due to a death in his family the work was interrupted for a week. My neighbor said he appeared to nearly fall off his ladder one day and he then left the job site without even taking his tools or cell phone. Paramount is a statewide company and my assessment is that they mostly operate a door-to-door sales operation which secures the jobs and then they sub contrat the actual work. I think I paid a good deal more for the work than if I had hired a local contractor who lacked the big sales operation and did the work himself or used and employee. Nevertheless the job is done and to all appearances done well.

We were visited twice (on consecutive days) by persons wearing Paramount Builders T-shirts and claiming to represent that company. The first day two men visited and used "high pressure" techniques to convince me to allow someone to come and give estimates on work they indicated I needed. I am the owner of a 100yr old home which I have totally renovated inside and out by myself and consequently was totally aware of my home's condition. I declined their offer which was not received gracefully by them. The next day I was visited by two females wearing Paramount Builders shirts. The behavior of these two individuals was offensive and inappropriate. For example they started with the familiar scam line the "we are doing work in the area....." and then informed me that my fascia boards were rotting away and about to fall down. Of course this is not the case. On both days the two pairs of individuals canvassed the entire neighborhood. I submit this because I do not think these people represent the Paramount Builders listed first on your website. Further, I have learned from other sources that this group is very suspect but, of course, cannot verify this. If these canvassers do represent the Paramount Builders that have been rated satisfactorily on your website then I would advise them to change their tactics for securing business. None of my neighbors would ever secure this company to do work based upon our experiences with the door-to-door canvassers.

I asked for a written estimate for re-roof of an approximate 26 square roof with GAF Timberline HD shingles. Paramount sales representative came to house gave presentation and then told us he could not provide a written estimate on company letterhead. I asked why, and was told it is the Paramount policy not to provide written estimates for fear of being undercut by competitors. I even went to the main office to try and get a written estimate so I could do a side by side evaluation of the estimates provided by two other local GAF Master Elite Roofer companies . Paramount touts that they are GAF Master Elite Roofer but will not provide a written work estimate on company letterhead. I went to Paramount Office and asked is the normal procedure for customer to have ask and show up for a written estimate. I gave my phone information for the General Manager to give me call and two and half weeks later no response.
