S & S Ceramic Tile

We called Ali to install tile floors in two of our bathrooms on separate occasions. He was extremely responsive and gave very reasonable estimates for both jobs. Ali was more than willing to work within our timelines to complete both jobs. Both floors came out great!! Recommend using him for all your tiling needs. We will certainly try to hire him again in the future!!

Ali did a great job with our master shower tile and grout. He also sealed the marble and granite countertops in our bathroom and kitchen. He was thorough and careful in his work. He was very nice to work with.

Upon meeting and discussing the project with Ali, I felt immediately confident that he would do a good job. He was fine with me purchasing the tile myself and gave me some tips on what to look for. On the day Ali was to start the project, I messed up and had the wrong day—thinking it was not until the following week. I felt so bad that I messed up his schedule, but he was so understanding and worked out a way to fit my project into his already busy schedule (which BTW happened to be the week before Christmas). Ali is definitely a master of his craft and takes pride in doing a great job. You can tell he's a perfectionist at heart—making sure everything is done right and looks good. He's also an organized worker and didn't leave any mess when he was done. Ali is a pleasure to work with on all levels. I can't imagine ever using anyone else!

Awesome. S&S Ceramic Tile did a great job on my job, which was of moderate difficulty including tight space and poor original materials. His experience was clear as he was able to handle all the challenges the job presented to him. S&S was prompt in responding, even able to start the job the next day. If I knew this would be this easy, I would have done this years ago.

The job went great! He said he would come everyday until it was done and he did. We gave him our garage code and he is such a neat and clean worker. Never had to clean up after him. I had a rug delivered one day when he was here and he helped me cut the rug pad - even that was perfection. He went above and beyond for us! I will recommend him to everyone I know.

Ali transformed our old laundry room into an attractive work space. Given that it was an unfinished basement room, it is not a work environment to inspire anyone's artistic endeavor. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of creative effort exhibited by Ali. He worked diligently for more than 8 days, showing up early each morning and putting in long days. I believe him to be honest and competent, the two most important qualities in my opinion. Plus I enjoyed getting to know him as a person. He has decades of experience setting tile, and it shows. This was a convoluted work environment that easily would have confounded a less experienced craftsman.

Superbly. We trusted not just our bathroom but our home to Ali - whether we were present or on errands. He works quietly, precisely, masterly. His aesthetic sense is right on target - he convinced us to shift the direction of the floor tile, and it looks much better than was planned. His artistic sense about the insets in the shower was also spot on. He is very kind (to family and pets) and is a highly skilled gentleman. You can trust his workmanship and price. We renovated our kitchen a few years ago and just decided to get the backsplash done. We had selected the subway tile and an accent tile. When Ali came to give us an estimate, he suggested a different mosaic sample for the trim. His sample Mosaic was a better accent as it blended well with the colors in the granite counter tops. Ali, was so great to work with. He's an artist/perfectionist who really does beautiful work. We tiled the walls with Carrara Marble subway tile with top cornice and the floors with a mosaic tile. Neither were easy to work with, but Ali was so attentive to detail that the entire project looks even better than I imagined. He spent two (long) solid days cutting and placing the tiles even though it took longer than he thought it would, he still finished in 3 days. He cleaned up after himself and even offered to tile the fascia of our fireplace "while he was here", and of course it looks fabulous as well. If you can get Ali to do work for you, DO IT! Even if he is not the cheapest estimate, he is worth every penny more you would pay him because you will not have to worry about a thing!

I'd picked out tile to surround the tub area, and Ali brought an additional decorative tile that, when paired with my original picks, made a beautiful border that echoed the tile floor. It looks terrific.

It went very well. Ali is the consummate professional: punctual; courteous; takes pride in his work; gives recommendations if needed (and in my case he was absolutely right); and leaves everything organized and clean at the end of the day. He even cut a special tile to accommodate a painted frog that was on the wall! The end product is beautiful.
