The day of installation the crew arrived on time. They introduced themselves to my wife since I couldn't be there. They were done in approximately 5 hours. The yard looked fine, the backyard and sides of the houses were great, and the clean up was excellent. I think they did a great job and look forward to using them again.

Everything about the experience was fantastic - the people, the price, and the job performed. Everyone I dealt with was prompt and courteous. During the consultation they took my input and ensured all my questions were answered. They created the design plan and estimate very quickly. The price was excellent for the amount of coverage. Once I decided to go with them for the job, the installation went very smoothly - quickly and with no issues. The installation crew did a great job cleaning the site after they were done with the work. After the installation, they went over everything with me and ensured I was completely happy with the work performed.

The whole process went very well. Affordable worked with our landscaper on timing. They installed both systems in one very long day. My only irritation was that the lawn was not as well restored in some areas as I would have liked. I am very pleased with the way the systems function. All our neighbors have commented on how beautifully the landscaping and the lighting has turned out. We are happy with it too.

After three other companies, we called upon this company to give us a bid. They came to us to do an estimate and were very punctual, explained what was involved, gave a detailed explanation, were very pleasant. Once we accepted the bid, they made an install appoiontment and were there in very timely fashion. Work was done expediently, in organized and clean fashion. Crew was pleasant and experienced. System seems to be working perfectly so far, time will tell but I have the feeling that whatever is, this company will stand behind their product. They give you that feeling of confidence from day one. So far I surely would recommend them to anyone. Their bid was extremely competitve and they are very reliable. They return calls, aim to please and are just all around pleasant to do business with. We have yet to do the orientation to the system and final meeting after install but having had the experience of several complex sprinkler systems in Florida, I have a confident feeling.

Ryan Muniz, one of the owners, responded quickly to my request for an estimate, and worked with me to optimize coverage of the lawn and garden beds at the best possible price. The team showed up as promised on the day of installation, and worded efficiently, leaving the lawn and beds in good condition. When I discovered a leak from one of the sprinkler heads a week or so later, the office rearranged schedules to get the repair done within 48 hours.

They provided quality estimates - not the cheapest, but the best value for money when you consider the service and warranty. Installation was completed without any issues with good attention to detail and finish. I was particularly happy about how well they concealed the back flow device. The system is working very well without any issues. I would strongly recommend anyone interested in a sprinkler system to look into this company.

Affordable Sprinklers definitely exceeded our expectations with our installation. First, their sales team did a great job and their pricing was consistent with other companies, if not a little cheaper. We were actually a little surprised how inexpensive the whole project was given that they needed to go under our driveway and under our walkways. The most impressive aspect of the project was the actual installation. One team came out and completed all of the work to perfection in a single day. They worked with us throughout the process to make sure that we understood exactly where things were going to go, how it would work, etc. We were able to choose a very discrete location (under a little deck) for one of the components which was a little out of the way for the installers, but they didn't hesitate to put it where we wanted. By the time the work was complete there wasn't a trace that they had been in our yard except for the flags to mark where all the new sprinkler heads were located. Following the installation we had additional landscaping work done which resulted in needing some of the sprinklers to be adjusted. Affordable sent out their technicians and not only made the adjustments, but in a couple of cases, completely moved some of the sprinkler heads to improve their coverage. Again, this was much more than we expected. Overall, they simply get the highest recommendation from us.

This company excels at customer service. They contacted me right away after I sent them an email, came out and walked the property and gave me a prompt thorough estimate. They answered all my questions and followed up with more answers once I had the quote. They scheduled installation and followed up with me on when my job was scheduled, came right on time when scheduled. They were professional, careful of my plantings, and walked me through the installation both before and after they completed the job. They then sent someone to follow up and train me on how to use the system. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.

They brought a guy out that could barely speak English. They touched my system without my permission. They then went on to try and charge me $50 for a diagnostic and consultation that I was unaware that there was a fee. On top of that none of this was in writing. I told them I was going to file a complaint against their license if they didn't remove this charge, and they agreed to do this after I indicated what my next form of action was going to be.

After removing 40 trees and filling over 1,000 cubic yards of dirt we had a half-acre of level dirt that we wanted to sod. In order to protect this investment we wanted an irrigation system that would preserve the sod and work without requiring any real maintenance. We searched Angie's List and found Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting had a large list of satisfied customers. We contacted Affordable by e-mail and received a prompt reply. This began a relationship that resulted in a professionally designed and installed system of four zones with a total of 16 heads operating on different time schedules, that works just as promised. They kept appointments, understood what we were looking for and gave us great ideas on how to improved our plan. The installation crew showed up promptly and worked continuously until the work was done. After installation was complete the crew foreman walked us through the system operation and made sure we were comfortable with how to run the controls. We still have the other half of the yard to develop and will definitely use Affordable for that and all our other irrigation and lighting work in the future

Affordable Lawn Sprinklers were extremely professional. They arrived on time for both the estimate and installation. Their bid was one of the lowest I received and their installation team members are employees rather than temporary hires. My only complaint was regarding the installation into newly planted foundation plants, which were small and easily moved (the reason for the B in quality). In addition my installation was complicated by existing underground PVC pipes to move rainwater away from the house. Although I did provide that information to the estimator and at the beginning of the installation, I still needed to remain and monitor the digging. Affordable was happy to repair any damaged piping, and made every effort to work around the existing network of pipes. The company stood behind its work and reimbursed me for the damaged plants. In addition, they sent out a technician within 24 hours to explain why I was hearing a knocking sound (old water main at the curb). I would highly recommend Affordable Lawn services to anyone contemplating an irrigation system.

The work was preformed mostly to our satisfaction. The tech overlooked one sprinkler head when he was adjusting coverage, but otherwise all went well. We have continued to use Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and had them install a blow out port, along with a number of other services and have been generally pleased with the work.

Apparently Affordable Sprinklers doesn't know that Woodbridge is part of Prince William County is listed as an area that they service and install sprinklers/lighting on Angieslist's website. I called to get an estimate for sprinkler installation and they were very disinterested in doing the job and told me that on average they will be $500 higher than any other estimate I receive. I'm not sure how a company like this receives an A and a Super Service Award!!

Affordable Lawn Sprinklers have taken care of me since they put in my system in 2007 (a system that I've had maybe one head crack and one spray fitting blow in all of that time!) I have stuck with them because they always do great professional work, take the time to explain what they are doing, and the price is always right. I also like the membership programs you can sign up for to winterize and "springize" your system and keep it in great shape. This last visit was to update my system after the addition of several plant beds and because of some plant growth in my landscape. After I called they showed up promptly to figure out what was wanted/needed and gave me an estimate on the spot. Once the parts were in they got me on the books quickly... They showed on time (they always do) and worked quickly and carefully... in a number of cases having to reroute lines through beds without damaging the plantings. In two cases we had to change the planned approach and they had a great solution on the fly. Carefully "tuned" the new setup for proper throw and coverage. Cleaned up the area and once they were gone you couldn't tell they had been here... except the new sprinkler plan was primo... and the price right on the estimate. I am a very satisfied customer.

I'm another satisfied customer of Affordable Lawn Sprinklers. From my initial inquiry to their follow-up call post-installation, I've been impressed by the clear communication, apparent valuation of customer service, and professionalism that I've seen each of their employees exhibit. They accommodated my preferred timeframe for the project and showed up on-time on the day of the installation with a foreman that clearly explained everything they would do that day. After the successful installation, they followed-up with a crew that provided a demo of the system operation and fine-tuned all of the rotor and spray heads. They answered my questions clearly throughout the process, and there were no surprises or hiccups during the entire project. I wouldn't hesitate referring them to anyone.

They do an excellent job of winterizing and dewinterizing. They told us when we had equipment that didn't work and replaced it for a reasonable charge.

We had some hiccups during the sales process but Reed made good on it and we decided to go with them based on the high installation grades they have. The quality of the work is outstanding, they did a phenomenal job and disturbance to the land is actually quite minimal. You can hardly even tell they installed the system. System works perfectly across all watering zones and exceeded my expectations. Work was neat, tight and clean. Peter (head crew guy) knows his stuff and did a fantastic job running his crew. Be sure you get Ryan as your sales guy and Peter as your crew lead and you can't go wrong. Kudos to Reed for taking ownership of the sales slip ups and righting the situation.

It took a while even with a wire tracer to find the valves. The wire tracer was somewhat misleading, but the guy finally found it. This tripled the estimated cost. 150 originally turned into 395 dollars. Had I found the valve cover prior, the work would have been cheaper and smoother. Lesson learned for me. Staff was professional and responsive overall. Though it tuned out to be expensive, I would definitely use them again.

Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting did a fantastic job! Reed from the company reviewed the job with me beforehand and provided a quote for the job with a description of all the work to be done. The job was scheduled at the time that was promised during the initial meeting and the team to do the installation showed up on the day as scheduled. The company was very flexible with us, allowing us to change out areas to have soaker hoses instead of spray heads when it was being installed and being sure throughout that we were satisfied with the work. They were careful to minimize the amount of damage to the lawn (because some will always be done) and they were sure to set up and show us how the controller worked. This included a brief lesson the day of the installation and a more involved tutorial during the follow-up visit about two weeks later. At that time, the technicians checked each of the spray heads, adjusted them as needed, and replaced one that was not operating quite right. They also relocated one that was a little too close to the driveway. They also found that more soaker hose was needed in one area and, because we don't have anything growing in that bed right now, will be adding that when they come in the October to winterize the system. Overall, I have rarely worked with a company that has been as responsive and professional as Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting. Their work is just as promised. The sprinkler systems works just as I had hoped and the lawn and the plants in the surrounding beds are much healthier with the system in place and the system has only been in place for about three weeks. While irrigation systems are not cheap, I feel the company's price was very good compared to others that I got and that the investment is worth it and will be for years to come.
