He called before he arrived, arrived on time, was very friendly, quick, professional and knew his business. My door got fixed, he petted my cat and dog, I paid him and he left. Great work!

I hired Door Doctor once before and was impressed. Impressed all over again. The communication is super from the main office and the service from everyone is thorough, courteous and professional from start to finish. Pricing is absolutely fair. They set up a two hour window (some companies will make you wait all day) and called to say they were coming over. Abe did a great job and was good about explaining things so I can try to fix it myself if the same thing happens again. All I can say is that pride and quality workmanship is clearly at work with Door Doctor. If I ever need a new door opener or doors, I will certainly hire these folks. I recommend them highly!

Outstanding. Submitted an inquiry to the company's website and was contacted within 24 hours. Service was scheduled for the next day and received time and cost estimates over the phone. Installer Victor arrived within 5-10 minutes of scheduled arrival time, was friendly and helpful, and did a fantastic job. Very highly recommended.

This company was not responsive, did not show up, failed to provide an estimate, and did not return phone calls.

Identified company from Aangie's List. Called and got an appointment for nexr day. Tech came and assessed the problem, gave me a quote. I called the company and made an appointment to have the opener replaced. Tech came at appointed time and installed new opener in less than an hour. Service was professional, courteous, and attentive. I am completely satisfied with the result, and the price was good.

Great experience from start to finish! Abe came out (on time) to talk about the kinds of doors his company offers. No high pressure sales pitch. Measured our existing doors and gave us an estimate. The installer arrived on time and did a great job on the installation and cleaning up when he was finished. We noticed one of the doors rubbing against the frame a few days later causing scratches in the new door. They came out promptly and fixed the problem to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company!

Excellent work at reasonable price. They went out of their way to make sure panel matched. They even painted the new panel for me. Would certainly recommend them in the N. Virginia area.

I called and was given an appointment for the next day. Serviceman showed up within the estimated timeframe, The problem was diagnosed immediately and replacement part installed within 15 minutes.

My experience with the Door Doctors was great, in huge contrast to the first company that came out. The first co. inflated their price and didn't come when scheduled. When they arrived an argument ensued between the serviceman and myself when I questioned the cost of the safety cables. He left in a huff after disabling the door. I called the Door Doctors right away. They returned my call within 45 minutes and had a serviceman here the next day with the parts that were needed. They completed the job and were half as expensive as the first company.

I was advised by other individuals that the motor for my garage door needed to be replaced. I had called another company (on Angies List) and they didn't come out, delayed putting me on their schedule because they wanted to only come out when they were in Virginia, etc., etc. So, even though the other people had an excellent rating on Angies list, I got tired and called the Door Doctor, which also had an excellent rating on the list -- they came out the next day, and Abe told me that I didn't need to replace the motor and only needed new Springs and cables on the door which were shot. He was very nice, cooperative and professional and explained what the problem was with the door. I was really relieved that I didn't have to spend the extra money on a new door or motor.

We were thinking that we would have to replace the entire garage door but we only needed new extension springs and pulleys. We also had to get new remotes. The technician had only one remote in his van and said that he would order a 2nd one and have it sent to the house. We moved into the house a month later and still hadn't received the new remote. I called and the explained that the invoice states that a second remote was supposed to have been ordered and mailed to the house. He took down my information and told me that he would do some research and see why we hadn't received it yet. Someone left me a message the next day saying that they made a mistake and never ordered it and a new one would be put in the mail the next day.

First, I called DD to repair my garage door opener; they came within a few days but found that the circuit board was faulty and couldn't be fixed. I was impressed they didn't charge for this call, since the repair could not be made. I asked for an estimate on a new opener which was provided on the spot. The new opener could have been installed within a few days. However, I had been considering replacing an old, sagging, uninsulated wooden door anyway so after studying styles available I also asked DD for an estimate on that. An estimator came to confirm measurements and check for any special requirements; he was polite, knowledgeable, and on time. He was helpful in making a couple of adjustments in the contract for items (decorative hardware) we didn't want. The new door had to be ordered from the mfr, which took about three weeks. Once the door was in, DD was very quick in coming to install it. The techs were cooperative and knowledgeable; arrived on time and finished the installation in about half a day, cleaned up and hauled the old door and opener away. After they had left I discovered a couple of places on the inside of the door where the surface had been lightly scraped a bit (possibly in shipping); they returned within a couple of days to restore the paint. Overall, I was extremely well satisfied with the services provided, and the cost.

Overall a very good experience and I pass on my recommendation, maybe an A- if they allowed such a thing. The estimator was well prepared, punctual and to the point. The installer was really good, worked hard and did a very nice job. The guys answering phones/scheduling appointments just "ok". Thanks guys!

Victor, the gentleman who came to service the doors, was excellent, friendly, quick, and resourceful. I highly recommend Door Doctor, and this is coming from an extremely picky DIY person.

Very prompt service. I called them for an appointment and they came within two days of my call. I was given a window of 3-6 p.m. and they arrived well within that time. The technician did the work efficiently. Very happy with the service.

Very well. Turns out I just needed to grease the rails and wheels. Probably could have done that myself, but he also did some adjustment on the box itself. He cut me a deal since they typically charge @$115 to stop by.

We saw that this company had great reviews on Angies List, so when our Garage door suddenly died, we called. I had left a message last night, and had a return call early this am! They came when they said they would, and fixed it quickly, and completly. Thank you to both Angies list (we had NO idea who to call, and the Yellow pages are scary!) And thanks to a company who responds so rapidly, and knows what they are doing! Thank you.

They arrived on time and repaired the door opener that day. I only called this company so I have nothing to compare them with, but there were no problems. I'd use them again.

They were extremely responsive. They did more then they were asked. They did a great job. I think they are the best door repair company. They are friendly and knowledgeable.

We were not disappointed. Their selection of products allows a great deal of versatility in choices. Our cost was lower than I was expecting and they offered cost saving suggestions when other companies could have taken the same opportunity to fleece the customer. They scheduled the replacement and showed up when expected. On the day of the appointment, they were running a little late, but called to inform us of the situation - many companies wouldn't have done that. The installer was personable and professional. His work was done with efficiently, cleanly and soundly. I don't think we'll have any more problems with our new doors in the near future, but if we ever have to call someone for service again. I wouldn't hesitate to call Door Doctor again and would recommend them to any of my neighbors or friends who would need similar service. We are very pleased with this company and wish all companies operated with same consideration for their customers.

Technician arrived at the start of the promised window of 8:00 - 10:00 AM. Old opener was removed and new opener and track were installed in approximately one hour. Even programmed the remote in one of our vehicles. Explained all operations and maintenance. Price was exactly as quoted, with no extras. Clean-up was spotless

Great service. Came out the next day. No issues. The B in professionalism was the fact that the installer was on the phone most of the time, but still was very nice and got the job done relatively fast.

Door Doctor was able to come out to provide an estimate the day we called (though if they couldn't have come that day, it would have been fine). They were very professional and thorough. 10 days after giving Door Doctor the "go-ahead," we had a new, smooth running garage door. The installation took approximately 4 hours. They were very accommodating with the scheduling and did a great job cleaning up, etc. A very positive experience.
