Very well.

Pros: Received 5-6 quotes from various local companies with high rankings on Angie's List. CertaPro was one of two that I considered to be a professional looking quote. They lived up to what they quoted. Workers were very prompt and courteous. Daily cleanup was excellent. Went above and beyond by power washing the front stoop and sidewalk leading to the driveway. Very attentive to addressing minor defects pointed out at final inspection. Payment policy is 100% after job completion. 10% discount given for booking job to their schedule. 0%, 12 month financing offered in lieu of 10% discount. Cons: Only con is that some of the paint lines between the trim and vinyl siding could have been a bit better by using masking tape to achieve a straight line. For that I rated it a "B" instead of an "A". I'm planning on doing some interior painting and will definitely get a quote from CertaPro of Loudoun County. (I'll just make sure they use masking tape where needed.)

The lady that came out and did the written estimate was very nice, thorough and professional. We changed our mind on which areas to complete in the project and had several questions, and she was very accommodating. It did take a little while for the office to get back with us after we faxed over our signed estimate/agreement. They did get back with us and scheduled the work for a month out (we were told it would be about 2 weeks.). They called about a week later and came out that day to do the power washing. My only complaint on that was that they don't use bleach when they power wash, so some spots of mold, etc. did not come off the house that should have. But, they did do my front porch and walk when I ask them too, even though it wasn't part of the deal. Then, they called later and firmed up the date to paint and showed up accordingly. They actually came about 7:40 a.m. on a Saturday--good thing we were up. They got right to work and removed their shoes when they came inside to finish the door frame. Good work ethic. Great attitude. They finished that day. It took them about 8 hours. We paid them and they left. They did clean up after themselves. The work is guaranteed for 2 years and we used their 1 year same as cash option for payment.

The work done by them didn?t go well. The estimate was excellent. They did a great job on the estimate. They were very thorough and professional in their process while giving an estimate. They didn?t show up when they were supposed to show up for the job. I called them 5 days later and asked them as to what was going on. So they told me that I didn?t respond to their e-mail but the e-mail they had sent didn?t require any response. It just said that they were going to be here on a particular date and have everything ready. Then they showed up for the job and started to work. They did the powerwashing but then they had to fix some water damage to the columns in the front of the house. They had proposed a place where they laminate. They couldn?t find the laminate even after two days after starting the job and that?s why they had to get back to wood. The job that they did in repairing the columns was extremely poor and it looks unfinished. The owner of the company came out and agreed that it was a bad job. He said that he would come out personally and try to do some touch up work. He did do something but the job which should have taken 4 days to complete, took well over two weeks. Then just recently the paint on the columns in the front of the house has begun to melt off. So I called the owner and sent him an e-mail and asked him to come out to fix it because the paint wasn?t adhering to the columns. I am yet to hear back from him and it was about two weeks ago. They gave me the estimate on March 24 and came out in April to get the work done. They were pretty embarrassed. They hadn?t completed the job till April 13 and they didn?t get a good evaluation on that. G Cobb is the owner of the company but I don?t recommend them at all. The execution of work wasn?t good. The price charged by them was fair. I would not use their services in the future. I had done some research on them and I thought that they were rated okay. I had used their services five years ago and had a very good experience. However, it was a new owner and a new crew that came out for the recent job.

Very nice job done, high quality, minor punch list items handled quickly.
