The installation was done the day after the initial service call/visit. The tech thoroughly explained how the system works. He also answered my many questions about termites.

No show due to a "technical glitch". Technician apparently never received notification on his phone that I was on the schedule. Took off from work, waited patiently during my 2 hour window, and finally called the company for a status update. Once I was told that they were having trouble locating the technician I knew I they were going to be a no show. Tried rescheduling for today but lost all confidence and trust in company. Front office staff seemed responsive but sorry I can only rate the company based on the service they provided and that did not occur.

The gentleman was very professional, evaluated our situation and explained what he was going to do and what we could do ourselves.

It went very well. On the first visit, the tech toured the house, explained everything he was doing and was very friendly and professional. We purchased a yearly plan of six visits.

Charlie came by to check things out after we had evidence of a mouse. I showed him pictures of the droppings and he did a quick tour of the house. He concluded we likely had a drive by visitor since we didn't have any additional droppings after I cleaned up the first bit. He showed us likely points of entry, gave us a few recommendations, and said our dogs likely scared it away. Charlie chatted with us about half an hour and refused to charge us for the consultation. While I certainly hope I don't ever need his services again, I will definitely call him and recommend to others. Oh, and he was on time - I was five minutes late because I never expected him to show up right on the dot when we had been given a three hour window. Awesome all around!

Service went superb. Charles was knowledgeable and efficient. He came and explained what he was using, what he was doing and what we should expect to see in the coming weeks. Knowing the process and seeing that same process take place was perfect. After he sprayed he told us that the problem should be completely taken care of and that I will see a few stragglers for about two weeks. Its almost one week and I am only seeing 1-2 ants on my property when before it was a Thousands! I am extremely happy with the service and will definitely use them again in the future!

I spent weeks trying all sorts of DIY ant elimination solutions but with no success; they kept coming back in the droves. We decided to bite the bullet, but we couldn't be happier with the results. We compared with Holiday Pest Control and decided to go with Protech. Protech's cost was $189 for the initial visit then $70 every 2 months. The technician was pleasant and courteous during the estimate. We then had him come out to start the service a couple weeks later. We only noticed a handful of ants after a few hours of the visit - a significant different. Then after 2 days, our ant problem was totally eliminated - what a relief! The technician also addressed our annoying bee problem and placed low-visibility "pest monitors" around the perimeter of the house, which I presume will assist him in subsequent visits. We were a little concerned about the effects on our pets, but they informed us that the pesticides would be harmless to them. If you have an significant pest problem, I highly recommend getting a professional. Overall rating: Excellent!

Pro Tech did a terrific job. Technician was punctual, professional and exceptionally diligent. He was very attentive to any possible signs of pests or termites and exercised a level of focus and diligence seldom seen. He applied external and internal preventative treatments to our home and we have actually not seen anything since. We have signed up for an annual treatment contract with them and would recommend them wholeheartedly to others. Well done.

We first contacted ProTech Pest along with a number of other pest control companies in the area because we were having a really difficult time with figuring out the source of drain flies that we could not get under control. We had a number of pest control companies tell us that they treated for drain flies, but it was ProTech alone that insisted that they could not "treat" them and that we would likely need to do some pretty invasive plumbing investigations to figure out the source of the fly problem. The technician - Marvin - said, "I could sell you a pest control package, but that's not how I do business, and it wouldn't get rid of your drain fly problem. They are evidence of a plumbing problem, or a standing water problem, a sewage leak, etc., but not a pest problem. I'm afraid your next step is the jackhammer." And he was right. We had to do some seriously big house work, but that was the only way to get rid of those flies. I contacted ProTech once more to inspect for another bug - termite this time. True to form, Marvin was incredibly knowledgeable, answering my many questions, and also refused to prey on my fears just to sell me something. I cannot speak more highly about that as a business practice, and he and ProTech have earned my trust. I highly recommend them.

ProTech technician arrived on time and began applying granules and spraying around foundation of house before I arrived. He also reviewed the insect we had seen flying inside the house to determine it was not termites (but ants). He sprayed inside around fireplace where we thought the ants were entering the house. He checked basement areas to confirm no evidence of termites. So far we have not seen any additional insects in the house.

Highly recommended. We chose an annual plan with 5 total visits including the initial consultation. Very professional and effective pest control management. The office also is courteous and very responsive to questions or concerns. They also mail a courtesy reminder in advance of the next scheduled visit. Out of the various pest control companies I have hired, ProTech is the best overall!

I use ProTech Termite & Pest Control. They were here two days ago. Every quarter they come out. It was an Angie's deal for $340 or $360 a year. I think they're great.

I had been having an ongoing problem with ants that I tried to take care of myself, but they kept coming back, so I called ProTech and they scheduled someone to come out the next morning. The technician was on time and very professional. He took the time to discuss my ant problem. He treated for the ants, as well as treated outside the house for general pests. Great service!

This is a review of Protech after using them for a year. We purchased our new home and had clear signs of infestation of mice in the basement. The Protech specialist came to our home and gave us an initial consultation where he identified the source of the infestation and began to bait and treat our home to prevent the critters from returning. After several months we saw less and less signs of infestation and now, a year later, we have seen no infestation at all. The Protech folks send a postcard prior to every visit explaining their next treatment date and to call if we require additional services inside our home. We were lucky to not need these services inside. We did still have spiders throughout the year, but upon notifying Protech they would make an extra set of treatments to protect our home from the pests. I am happy with their services and will continue to use them next year.

It always goes well! You never really have to be home when they're here, unless you need them to come inside. They always do around the garage they always do around the doors and windows. I would recommend them highly. Their customer service is also great.

Since they started spraying in July 2014 through today we have seen two ticks. So that seems pretty succesful to me. We also started using them inside our house for general pest control.

Very professional office team and Charlie, the technician, is great. We signed for an annual contract with the company after trying out their "big deal" listed on Angie's List. Definitely recommend.

So I had a big carpenter ant problem (100s of them running around the kitchen at night). So I call this company to come out and give me an estimate (and hopefully treatment). So the guy comes out and I tell him about my carpenter ants. He says -- take me around the house, which I do. Looks for about 20 seconds (never goes inside either) and says -- well, I can spray today but really you need an annual contract. I said -- well -- maybe -- what's the cost. I think he said $492 and it's all upfront. Then he tells me that it won't cover carpenter ants but the stuff he puts down probably would kill them. I said -- why would I purchase an annual agreement for a service where you wouldn't cover what I needed to be taken care of. He then said that service is more expensive and continued to push the other service. I finally just let the guy leave. Honestly -- huge waste of time. If you get the guy I had, he's not thorough at all and will push an annual service contract (to be paid up front) -- that very well may not even treat what you're asking them to treat.

Marvin was a great guy! He was courteous and friendly. He put the shoe covers on before walking into the house. He answered all my questions and appeared at ease with what he was doing. The $189 Rodent Package deal does not come with a follow up check-up, which is $75/per visit. Thank you ProTech for your service and Angie's List for recommendation! I hope the mice are gone for good.

It was sort of indifferent to that service. I didn’t feel that they made substantial difference. They came out regularly but I just feel that it didn’t make an impact. It was a regular scheduled thing and it’s hard to call about it. There was no major infestation. So it wasn’t anything like that. But we can continue to notice the same thing. I didn’t pay more than the big deal.
