ServPro does not do rebuilding / reconstruction work. They act as a middle man and hire a subcontractor to perform the work. I had to do major rebuilding due to serious water leak that happened. I had opened a claim with my home owners insurance. ServPro did not send all the claims to insurance for reason best known to them. They repeatedly billed me for 2 separate amounts and gave me a very hard time. I called my insurance several times and got the answer that all payments have been made for the claim. I went to their office and requested if the bill was for work that was actually performed and if so why they did not claim with my insurance. I received letters and emails threatening me with legal action and collection proceedings. Very unethical and predatory businesses. Lesson learnt & bottom line: If you're in the unfortunate situation of water damage DO NOT hire ServPro for ANY rebuilding / reconstruction work. Limit their services to water mitigation & drying ONLY AND NOTHING ELSE !!

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Servpro was sent out to my house by my insurance company to do water mitigation after a flood. They have been a disaster. It has been months with lack of communication or inaccurate communication which has made for more headaches and delays, plus now my insurance company is giving me a hard time because of the inconsistencies. To make matters worse, they did serious damage to my home while trying to "mitigate" the water. When I raised this issue with them they said it wasn't their fault. I am told that "I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED THERE WOULD BE ADDITIONAL DAMAGE FROM THEIR WORK". Seriously, that is a direct quote. I am now stuck with even more costs to repair my home. If you ever see that big green truck pull up to your house, close the door can call someone else.

Superb responsiveness and work in drying the basement and removal.
We should have stopped there and got our own contractor to do the repair work. Their painting was sloppy and poor, the carpet seams were placed incorrectly, and it took several months to resolve an over-charge.

After my sump pump failed, my insurance company hooked me up with Servpro. They came out that day and removed the ruined carpet from my basement. They then set up 15 huge fans and 3 dehumidifiers. These sat there doing their job for the next 4 days. The crew (led by Dion) were efficient, respectful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! I don't know the final bill ... it wasn't free ... because they'll be billing my insurance company.

I contacted this company to handle the water damage to my basement. After arriving on time for the first visit, every subsequent follow-up visit was missed without a call to apologize or re-schedule. I had to call and schedule again, and the scheduling people just said that the work teams are supposed to call when they are late or are going to miss an appointment but never do. When it came time to install my new carpeting, I took a day off to be available to oversee the work. They missed three appointments for that.
If you want a company that will repeatedly schedule appointments and miss them, never call in advance to notify you that they will not be coming, or just seem to think that their time is more important that yours, I can assure you that SERVPRO of North Arlington is for YOU. However, if you want a committed and reputable company, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Mr. Raisa and his associate came out at the exact time scheduled, were professionally dressed and were very friendly and accommodating. They look pictures of all the damage, removed all the soaked insulation and mounted 6 fans to pickup and dry all the water. Prior to installing the fans and removal of the damaged insulation, they put drop clothes from the front door up the stairs, down the hall and into the bedroom. There were even clothes over the stair railings and the corners of the walls. They made certain there would be no further damage caused by them. They hooked up everything and left, promising to come back each day to check on the progress and make necessary adjustments. Since I have to be to work by 7:30am and did not want to miss anymore work due to this incident, the men came back at 6:15am each day (per my request and their agreement) to make the necessary changes. Just this one issue took a load off my mind and made me very grateful to this company. By the following Saturday everything was dry and they could remove all their equipment. They then deep cleaned the hall, bedroom carpets and the stairs. It looks great!!

They did vacuuming and also deodorized the house. They were punctual and efficient. They were well organized and well staffed. I had a good experience with them.
