Jared helped us through evaluating our needs and provided excellent information about the product. We compared 3 other window companies and no one else came close in product, professionalism, knowledge of products or presentation skills. The installers were on time, worked well as a team and did an incredible job! We would highly recommend this company far above other highly advertised competitors.

Great experience. Friendly company. Consultation/ contract was very easy. Works all did a great job, they even obliged my request to remove their shoes inside. They did a pertly good job with clean up, only a small mess left outside.

The windows are top quality, triple-pane, all-vinyl, and a low-e coating. Skyline gave me the best price (by far) I found, did exactly what they said they would do, provided a clean-cut, professional crew, did all the work in one day, cleaned up the entire job site, and their workmanship was superior. I am an engineer with a great deal of construction experience and know good quality materials and workmanship when I see it. The Okna windows are the best replacement windows I could find and Skyline in a homeowner's dream. The are straight with their customers, never come back with surprise price increases, and their workmanship with both the window installation and the trim inside and outside was impressive to watch. I plan to have them back in the Spring for the balance of the windows in my house.

Workers showed up promptly at 8:25 am. They worked efficiently to finish the job before 5 pm. They were all extremely courteous and performed their tasks well. I am very impressed. Two owners came in morning and one stayed and worked till completion.

The owner's father (former owner) came by and gave us a price to replace our existing windows with the windows we chose (Okna 500 series). He was very nice and understood that we were getting a price so that we knew what our target savings needed to be to replace our old windows. When we were ready to move ahead he came back to get accurate measurements of all of the windows to place the order for the windows. He stated that it usually takes 6-8 weeks for the windows to come in. All we were asked to pay upon signing the contract for Skyline to replace our windows was $5.00. Approximately 4 weeks later we received a call on Tuesday that they had the windows in and could be at the house to replace all of our windows on Friday of that week, if that worked for us. They arrived promptly on Friday morning and a large crew of workers got right to it and by 4:30 the same day all of our new windows were in and sealed, wrapped and caulked beautifully. One of the screens had a small dent in the frame and they immediately ordered a replacement that they will come pop in as soon as it arrives. The owner and his entire crew were polite, personable and very professional. We are extremely pleased with the quality and look of the new windows and the work performed by Skyline. One of the things we have really noticed is how much the windows have reduced outside noise in the house. We are so pleased that we have decided to use them to replace our front and side doors with Provia stained look doors.

The installation team showed up at exactly the correct time. The team was experienced, efficient, polite, neat and they worked like a “well oiled machine”.

I called Skyline Windows to come out and give me a quote. I had many questions. Randy was very knowledgeable about the windows and easily answered all my technical questions about the installation. He came out, took measurements, went back to work and sent me a quote. There was no sales pitch or game playing. I appreciated this more than words can express. Randy's quote was so reasonable (as compared to the big box home improvement stores) that I was able to replace all the windows and sliding doors in my entire home. The crew did an outstanding job of setting the windows to my existing trim with minimal disturbance. His crew arrived when they said they would. They were neat and professional. Initially I was not pleased with the way the caulking looked in comparison to the mortar around the windows in my basement. I got a little testy with the caulk man (sorry sir, you did not deserve my wrath!) and to his credit, he remained professional. I called Randy to complain about the caulk and Randy told me not to worry, that he would fix it. He came up with another solution and a few days later he had completely resolved my concern. This type of top notch customer service is very rare. The windows have significantly diminished outside noise. I'm certain my electric bill will be reduced. The windows look terrific and appear to be extremely good quality. The only negative comment I could possibly make is that the window screens feel a bit flimsy as compared to the screens I had before. This is a great company with what appears to be a great product. Arrived on time. Crew worked well togetlher. They were very polite and maticulous. Work took one day which was 1/2 day less than projected. Very good clean up after the work. Stellar job.

I appreciated the professionalism of everyone throughout the process. From ready’s visits through day 2 of the installation. Professionalism was Shawn by; people showing up when they said they would; removing/re-installing window blinds; cleaning up after themselves inside and outside the house.

This was a great experience - from the initial sales appointment through the installation of the windows. The initial sales person (which was the president of the company) did not waste hours of my time or use any high pressure sells techniques. Skyline employs their own installers, they don't contract the work out to a 3rd party. This means they control the quality of the work. The crew showed up on time, and took care in laying drop cloths throughout the house so as not to mess up any of the rooms. The crew was professional and polite and had clearly worked together for a while. They had to repair rotted wood in some of the window openings and cleaned up all debris at the end of the job. There was no extra add on charges for repairing any rotted areas, the price quoted was the price charged. I would highly recommend Skyline Windows to anyone looking to have their windows replaced, at the very minimum you at least need to have them give you a quote.

The crew from Skyline windows arrived on time on the day scheduled to install five replacement windows, four downstairs and one upstairs. I was very impressed with the quality of the replacement windows as I had researched several choices before ordering them through Skyline windows. The three man crew had my old windows out and new windows in place in a short time. They worked diligently, and were knowledgeable in answering my questions. I also had aluminum cladding installed around the replacement windows as well as around three existing windows. The cladding originally installed around the existing windows was done so in a shoddy, box-like appearance, which lacked the details of the wood trim beneath. The Skyline crew did an outstanding job with the aluminum cladding around all windows. The new cladding revealed the level of detail that corresponded with the wood trim beneath, and the caulking around the cladding was first rate and consistent. Overall, I am very impressed with my replacement windows, the aluminum cladding, and the caulking. All of which were put to the ultimate test over the next two days with the major snow storm we received in the area. I will be ordering additional windows from Skyline windows in the coming months. Their windows, installation crew, and attention to detail are very strong selling points. I strongly recommend them.

The sales visit and installation went incredibly well. Jared was the salesman who came to walk me through my options. I was particularly impressed that, unlike the other two salesmen who had given me estimates, he provided me with unbiased resources (for example, NFRC documentation) that enabled me to research product options and compare what he was offering with what other providers had offered. He was prompt in providing a written estimate and very responsive to all my questions. The price was in the middle of what competitors had offered me, and I felt I would be getting a good deal for a high quality product. The installation team was led by Billy, who was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions before, during, and after installation. In going over the process in advance, we realized that one option was to retain some of our original wood trim, which was a bonus for us - it means a little more maintenance for us, but we prefer the aesthetics of the colored trim to the all-white vinyl. Throughout the installation, the whole team was communicative, friendly, and professional. They were very careful in moving around furniture, removing the old windows, etc., and they did a great job cleaning up both inside and outside the house. It was clear that Billy and his team worked well together, knew how to provide an excellent product, and were careful and methodical in their installation. I can easily imagine a scenario where the windows themselves were fine but the installation was poorly executed, but that is not what we experienced at all. The new windows look amazing - they are a huge upgrade from before. Previously, in the winter we could feel a dramatic temperature shift when going down the stairs: the downstairs was much cooler than the upstairs due to the inefficient windows. The day the windows were installed was *freezing* cold, and that temperature differential would normally be very noticeable, but it completely disappeared. We used to be able to feel cold air coming in around many of our windows, and now you can barely tell that's is freezing cold out when your hand is right beside the window. Our home is also noticeably quieter. It's too early to tell how much the new windows will reduce our heating and A/C costs, but to me the dramatic and immediate increase in comfort is worth it. The windows installed by Skyline look great, and I was very happy with every aspect of my interaction with Jared, Billy, and everyone else.

They came out and measured my windows in the rental house I own. I was showed several different type of windows to choose from the ones they sell. I had talked with several companies and Skyline was the company I chose as there was no pressure to get my contract. There windows were a litter more expensive but the reviews on the type of window they sold had the best reviews when I checked on line(Okna windows). The owner gave me lots of references that I could check out. Each window was explained and I was educated in the type and style that would be beneficial for this house. I signed a contract and the windows were ordered. When the workmen came to install the windows three windows didn't fit as they were sized wrong. This was not because of Skyline but the company that made the windows reversed the width and heigth. The men who did the installation were not subcontractors but men who work for this company. All of the windows were trimmed with out with siding on the out side. The big picture window was redesigned from a bowed window to a flat window so it would not cause the living room to be cold. All the windows were put in and super cleaned by they window washer. Several weeks later the other three were replaced when the new sized windows arrived. I am very pleased with this company and how they cleaned up after themselves. After all the windows were put in they showed me how to operate the windows as some lean in and the sliders are taken out to be cleaned.

Overall it went well. Some difficulty with communication (getting status updates), but installed when they said

I contacted 2 window contractors listed on Angie's list. I also got quotes from Home Depot and Lowe's. I eliminated Home Depot and Lowe's due to their offering of low quality products. Jared (part-owner) visited my home, measured the windows/doors, and submitted a detailed quote within 2 or 3 business days. During Jared's "sales" visit, he was low key, friendly, and answered our many questions completely and with patience. While not the lowest bid, I selected Skyline primarily because of the lack of a "hard sell", and their offering of a far superior quality window than their competitor. I signed a contract with Jared and "sealed" it with a $10 deposit. No request for money up front for materials. Jared indicated installation would take place about 6 weeks later and would take about 2 1/2 days. About four weeks after the contract was signed, he called and we agreed on an installation date. On the agreed upon date, a Wednesday, Roger (the other part-owner) arrived with a crew of 7 or 8 other installers. Roger and his crew were competent, professional, and friendly. They took great care to avoid any damage to my home. At the end of the 2nd day, all 8 windows had been installed, and 3 of the 5 doors. Due to forecast bad weather the following day (Friday), Roger and I agreed that they would complete the installation the following Tuesday. On that day, as promised, a crew of 2 arrived and installed the final 2 doors. Needless to say, we were very happy the installation went so well. A truly professional job! Post installation, we had two problems: a screen that was not properly installed in the window frame (very minor), and a defect in one of the doors (misalignment of the door in its frame, not created by Skyline, but in fact a manufacturing defect). I called Jared, he immediately got back to me, and indicated that Roger would be back two days later to take care of any problems. As with the installation, on the agreed upon day and the agreed upon time, Roger arrived and promptly took car of both problems. In summary, this project with Skyline was about as stress free as a major renovation project can be. Put simply, they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they would do it, and stood by their work when needed, I would recommend Skyline to anyone in a heartbeat.

It went very well. The crew came early and was done in approximately 4 1/2 hours. it was impressive to see one of the owners on site also. Each man went to a window and began work. They were steady at their work and was very polite and did not mind if I asked questions while they worked. They had a system of how to get the work done in the least amount of time and the work professionally done.

On the initial call I was told they would arrive 830 or 930. They called at 845 to say they would arrive by 930. They arrived on time 2nd installed in 5 hrs.

If you read nothing else, know that Skyline windows did an amazing job! We got several quotes for the work for a low line of replacement windows so we can sell our house. Financially they all were very close to the same price and the same product. We chose Skyline Windows because it's actually a local company. It is not a national one with branches here that hire contractors for installs like most of the others. They are all RVA and use the same crew for all of their installs. I really liked that as I try to support local businesses as much as possible. During the install they were punctual, professional, and went above and beyond fixing items that were not strictly necessary for them to fix, all at no additional charge. They were great and we love our new windows!

Reason for above "B" scores as follows: For responsiveness, only once after the order was placed, did they call me without me calling them for status first. For punctuality, the contract indicated the work would be completed in 5 to 7 weeks or they would notify us in writing. They did not notify us in writing and the work was completed 18 weeks from the date the contract was executed. They never even called to let us know of the delay except when I called and left a message.
