We used Narron to have our fence put up. She was recommended by our neighbor and we figured why not? At first everything was great. She showed up the next day to measure the yard and provided us with an estimate the next day. We set up a time to meet at our house to finalize the paperwork and put down the deposit. We had said 6:30/7 because we have a newborn plus two other kids so I wanted enough time to get them fed and settled beforehand. My husband got home around 5/5:30 and she was sitting outside our house! He asked her to wait a minute so he could make sure I wasn’t sitting inside nursing our baby. Next thing I know she’s knocking and coming into my house and proceeds to tell us we need to put our dogs up because she can’t deal with them. THEN I come back downstairs and she’s hovering over my newborn. It’s cold and flu season, and I don’t KNOW you. Get away from my child. I should have known right then and there to run, but we were anxious to get the fence put up so we signed and wrote her a check. Our agreed installation date was for the following Wednesday and were told it was a 1 day job. Tuesday afternoon around 3PM she texts, not calls, TEXTS my husband and says “We will be there Thurs. to install your fence instead of tomorrow. Thanks.” No explanation, just a “tough ****” text. Now, I help my father run our family owned business. I know more than enough about customer service as I have worked in our industry for well over 10+ years. I have NEVER texted one of my customers to reschedule especially so last minute. Red flags started going off. Thursday morning the guys showed up to install the fence. Everything was going great, they were extremely professional and courteous! Around 3:30 they started packing up to leave so I figured the fence was all done. Think again! With only a very small section left they were done for the day and would be back Friday morning. I told them okay, but inside my blood was boiling. At this point our installation date had been moved back a day and now our 1 day fence was going to be a 2 day job. I called my husband to let him know what was going on and he called Ms. Narron. If I thought her lack of customer service and professionalism was already a problem I was wrong. She made up a bunch of excuses about how she can only do but “so much”, didn’t offer any apologies, any sort of discount, nothing. It was another “tough ****” moment. Long story short, save yourself the grief and don’t deal with her unless you want high blood pressure, exercise from having to measure your yard for her, and an all around horrible experience. As for the guys that came out to install our fence, they don’t work for her because I saw their actual company name on their vehicle. So, she subcontracts her work out to other companies. I would hire them any day. They were easy to talk to, listened to my concerns and had valid input and suggestions. They did a fantastic job on our fence, but as for Narron Fences I won’t be putting their “warranty” sign on my fence because she doesn’t deserve to take credit for someone else’s work, nor do I want anyone else to have to deal with her and her bad attitude.
