Description of Work: We would recommend National. Our locksmith, Manuel, was very professional and did an excellent job of explaining the services he was providing. It was clear what we were going to need to pay, and he worked that into the Angie's List discount we presented. Ultimately, we bought some hardware as well on the spot, and the prices on this were reasonable. No issues to date with the re-keyed locks and newly installed hardware provided. We will call National if we need more locksmith work done down the road.

Description of Work: Customer service for National Lock & Key was courteous and efficient. I received a phone call within minutes of submitting a scheduling request via Angie's List website. The installation was scheduled on the date that I requested. I purchased two Big Deals via Angie's List, (one for re-key and one for peephole installation), not realizing a service call fee was included in both deals, so I essentially paid for two service calls. The company called to explain that to me and encouraged me to seek a refund with Angie's List for the second deal. I truly appreciated the honesty. The technician who did the re-key was prompt, knowledgeable and completed the work well.

Description of Work: arrived 45 minutes late and didn't apologize. I called this company because they are based in Reston and that was close to me. However, I think they sent someone from out of area (and traffic may have caused the delay, although no excuse/explanation was offered). He changed the locks as expected

Description of Work: Our lock was sticking and we thought it was broken. They set up an immediate appointment (I called on Sat afternoon and came Monday...lock was still working, they would have done emergency visit on Sat but I opted for Monday.) The technician diagnosed the issue immediately, let me know the lock was not broken and did not need replacement. He cleaned and fixed it and it is now perfect. They could have charged a lot more or told me I needed a new lock, but they were honest and professional. Highly recommend them. Great price, great service. Went above and beyond my expectations.

Description of Work: Installed 3 external keyless locks and 3 external locks and deadbolts plus one internal keyed lock. Keyed all my locks to operate in same key. Very professional. Very quiet when working. Had me check each lock when finished to make sure it was operating properly. Cleaned up completely before leaving. Very happy that they could come out on Sunday to install at no additional fee for weekend. Easy to schedule, sent me an email before hand with estimate that was accurate. Definitely recommend.
