NATIONAL LOCK & KEY

My front door is from 1978 and had the original hardware on it. The bolt was in bad shape. Instead of trying to sell me a replacement right away, the gentleman worked on it and really tried to get it to work. When he could not get it perfect, he offered me a new at a reasonable price and installed it for no additional cost. Was on time and professional.

I called the company this morning and my locks were changed this afternoon. Very professional service man, who even put shoe covers on before when entering my house! Work was done quickly and without any difficulty. I would highly recommend National Lock & Key.

Service was professional and work done in a timely fashion. The contact on the phone had me purchase a 4-lock special plan, however the plan only covered changing out the lock chambers, not the entire locks and knobs so we had to pay more upon installation, but overall fine.

The company provided a bolt (although I had one, it couldn't be re-keyed so I bought theirs), installed it in short order, and the technician was cheerful, knowledgeable, courteous and informative as to what needed to be done. The lock technician rekeyed five locks for us and even took the time to fix the deadbolt that wasn't lined up well anymore. He also gave us a lot of good (and cost-saving) advice for making simple security improvements around our home.

The entire process with National Lock & Key made the experience very pleasant and got exactly what I wanted. National Lock's representative, Amber, was very responsive and understood my requirements. We were able to work out all of the requirements with a couple of phone discussions and emails. The result was a fair quotation of the work and hardware required. We were able to schedule the work at my convenience and National arrived at their scheduled time. The service technician, Andre, was an expert and he performed the work exactly and we discussed. He showed me the hardware that was selected and it was again exactly what Amber and I discussed and agreed on. Andre was extremely professional with his craftsmanship in all aspects of his work. He prepped everything to insure my floors and walls were protected while he performed the work necessary to prep the doors for the new locks. Andre cleaned up and let no trace of debris or damage. The gentleman that came out was very helpful and explained why I was having some issues with duplicate keys. He was quick and did a great job.

I had a great experience with this company. The woman who scheduled my service was very helpful. I wanted a price quote for the hardware which she provided quickly. I decided to buy the lock myself in the end but she gave me good advice on which one to get. The technician arrived when he was scheduled, was very professional, and gave me good instructions and tips on using the touchscreen deadbolt. He even sent me a link for a video tutorial. I would definitely use this company again.

It was fine. The lock wasn't really working so they had to come back the next day to fix it but they were responsive.

They arrived on time, reviewed the locks, were very courteous of our house and gave us new keys pretty quickly.

Everything went perfectly. I called to schedule an appointment but realized I called before they opened, and left no message, planning to call back. They saw that I had called anyway and called me back as soon as they opened, and scheduled me for same-day service. The technician was punctual and called first. He re-keyed the lock with no problems, and left 4 key copies for us.

I called early enough to cancel the service. The vendor promised to refund the service fees.

Amber in the office was very pleasant and knowledgeable. the locksmith Manuel called 1/2 hour prior and was early. Everything went very smoothly within the timeframe he estimated. It was a very good first time experience.

Made appointment for them to repair and rekey a garage door knob. Person who came said the coupon I purchased didn't apply because it was only for labor. I showed him the coupon which did not specify that it was only for labor. He called the office who said the best they could do was take $15 off the $35 rekey fee. The gentleman said that the lock was broken and to rekey it would have to be replaced. My issue with them is that the estimate had three parts, the service fee, the new lock and the rekey fee. They didn't offer anything off the $79 service fee, only offering to take $15 off the $35 rekey fee, essentially meaning I paid them $40 for a $15 discount. If I could get a refund for my $40 I would. Unfortunately it looks like it was the cost for learning not to do business with them ever again.

The locksmith was late but was very apologetic and offered a discount. Overall he was professional and worked very quickly. The job was done in about 15 minutes. I would use this company again.

It was okay and they were on time. They did a good job but the price was the only issue. They got the job done in about 30 minutes. They worked with my schedule which was good.

This company was a real joy to work with. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and extremely tidy in their work.
