It was a wonderful experience all around. I called, I booked, we confirmed, and the move was scheduled in a matter of minutes. The pricing was right. The movers Erik and Nick were on time, helpful, polite, and fast. I did not touch a thing, they handled everything and were very respectful and courteous. I just wish I knew of Fortis when I had my other move. No doubt I will use them again when I empty my storage unit, I highly recommend using Fortis.

So good I used them twice! Where do I begin on all of the positive things I can say about Fortis? I have moved countless times over the last decade and this is by far the best company I have ever used..and I have some horror stories. I used Fortis to pack AND move me. A couple things to mention: they are responsive and were able to deliver moving resources on a few days notice. I coordinated with Eddie (amazing first encounter) who was friendly, thorough, and provided competitive pricing. On the day of the move, the Fortis movers arrived on time, clearly communicated everything to me, were completely delicate with my belongings, COVID-19 safe, efficient with their time, friendly, and professional. They delivered everything where I wanted it without a scratch. I have never had such a positive experience with movers in my life. I actually used Fortis twice to come back and help me pack some other items a few months later because I was so pleased. They were truly above and beyond my expectations. Lastly, I really appreciated that Eddie followed up after the move to ensure I was a happy customer. I try to write constructive reviews but there is not anything I can say that was not of the utmost positivity. They eased a very stressful situation for me and I am so grateful for their service. HIGHLY recommend Fortis and I will only use them for the future!

Fortis was the most professional and wonderful company to work with! I originally called for a quote for three people to pack us up into a rental truck. It turned into such a great deal that it was only a little more to have them pack us up and move us with their trucks and unload us in another state! It was an amazing experience! The guys moved all of my things so quickly and knew exactly what they were doing! They were very accommodating and communicated well to determine where items should be placed and how big furniture items should be taken apart. Overall a great experience and I would use them again. These guys deserve 10 stars, I can't say enough good things about Fortis Movers. First, they were on-time, the crew Nick, Eric, and & Guja were very professional and just awesome. We were moving out of our home we had lived in for over 20 years to a temporary apartment while our new home is built. The guys were very patient, polite, respectful, and hardworking, I was amazed how awesome the experience was. We had an unusual path from the loading dock at the apartment building to the actual apartment. These three, Nick, Eric, and Guja did not complain even though it was a country mile from loading dock to front door. We had them move some of our stuff into storage in the building which was on another floor and just as far of a hike. I even had them put stuff in storage that I actually changed my mind and they brought it back to the apartment. Not once did any of them complain, roll their eyes, sigh, etc., they just had an awesome demeanor and attitude. I kid you not, they pretty much just rolled with the punches and made the best of what was a ridiculously complicated move. When we move from the apartment to our new home in 4 months you can bet I'' reach out to Fortis Movers and hopefully get these 3 amazing young men. Kudos to Fortis for having such awesome individuals working for you and providing stellar service!!!

My family could not have asked for a better moving experience. Fortis was top-notch in every aspect as they packed and moved antiques and precious belongings from northern Virginia to relatives in Texas, Long Island and upstate New York. Not one thing broke, and all the shipments were delivered on time. Multiple crews were all very professional. Great communication at every step. Downsizing from her home of 51 years to a senior living facility has been understandably stressful for my 93-year old mother...except for the moving by Fortis. We are all happy that the younger generations will now be able to enjoy the family belongings cherished by our ancestors. Just cannot say enough good things about this young company. They give the kind of customer service and value you usually only wish for these days.

Outstanding customer service from estimate, additional questions during the estimate process and actual execution. Eddie and the gentlemen that came out and conducted the actual move were noting less than exceptional in the performance, their professionalism and their can do spirit. I had a great feeling about this company and they exceeded our exceptions. My wife is constantly telling her sisters how courteous and professional the Movers were. Finally, no damage, done. This is a tough, competitive business and you have to bring your A game everyday. Fortis did just that, ie bringing their A game. Would highly recommend their services.
