They were very prompt when coming out and they were extremely detailed with their estimate which gave me comfort to use them. The crew was exceptionally polite.

My first contact with All-American painting was with the owner's father over the telephone. I was impressed that he had a list of questions for me about the work I wanted done and answered my questions about insurance and the non-use of day laborers without hesitation. (NOTE: This was not the case with some of the other providers I contacted on Angie's List, so people need to be careful. Even if a company is listed on Angie's List with a great rating, it does not mean you still shouldn't carefully check them out!) The owner, Brian McCracken, came out to provide me with an estimate. He was professional and did not rush to ensure everything I needed to have done was accounted for in the estimate. He actually fixed the light fixture in the bathroom while he was there. The workers (Jose and Raul) arrived promptly at 7am, both days they worked, and except for a half-hour lunch break, worked efficiently and neatly to complete the items on the estimate. The master bathroom looks brand new with the new grout and the caulking fixed. The ceiling in the bathroom downstairs looks perfect. You would never know that it had ever looked any different. The wallpaper in the entry and up the stair was removed quickly and cleanly and I was very satisfied with the priming and painting. Jose and Raul worked quietly, cleanly, and efficiently. I also felt comfortable with Jose and Raul in the house - something that was missing with previous contractors. All in all I had a very positive experience with All-American painting - from the first contact on the telephone through to completion of the work. The work was well done, completed in a reasonable time, and at a reasonable price.

Excellent experience overall. Everyone was very professional, on-time and performed quality work. The painters were also neat and clean and took care in covering our furniture to protect our belonings. The estimate (both time and $) were right on target.

I realize this review is long overdue, but it needs to be said that All American Painting did an excellent job with repairing our front porch. Brian gave us a fair estimate, the crew workers were always on time, very efficient and did an outstanding job. We will certainly call on them again in the future.

I plan on using them for the work I need done on my deck. They were very good in providing the estimates. I felt the price was very fair.

I have always done my own interior painting but I've been recovering from a broken arm and painting a two story entrance just didn't seem smart. Hiring All American Painters turned out to be a wonderful experience. The painter, Rod, was meticulous is covering everything. I didn't find a drop of paint anywhere it wasn't supposed to be. Rod has been painting over 35 years and knew what he was doing. He can edge between the ceiling and wall with just a brush, even when he's standing on top of an impossibly tall ladder. The paint job looks great. Another big plus is that Rod is a great guy and both my husband and I enjoyed talking to him and would trust him inside our house even if we weren't there.

We were very grateful- they did a very good job, very professional, and finished a job that we considered doing ourselves due to the circumstances in a much shorter, and much better job. We will use them again.

Brian, the owner, did the estimates and was very professional in his approach. He gave an in-depth explanation of the types of work needed, including explaining why some steps are important, while others, such as an additional top coat, are not cost-effective, a point that most other painting companies also made. The work was done neatly and efficiently. Carpentry work was focused on the specific work that was required rather replacing wood unnecessarily. His crew was appropriately friendly and responsive to requests. The end product looks great and is a big improvement over the developing dilapidation.

Their work was excellent and turned out even better than I imagined. They completed the work in the time promised with no unexpected changes or additional charges. This is the third time I have hired All American Painting Plus, and it won't be the last time. They show up on time and do the exact job promised. They are professional and courteous and always clean up the work areas well.

It went very well. Brian was on time for giving us estimates and provided a lot of information about his company and how they operate. He had to call twice for estimates as we decided to add the bedrooms to the initial job. They were able to start within a couple of days which was important to us as we had to go out of town and wanted the work done as soon as possible. Mario and Nelson arrived on time both days and were great to have around. They worked hard and efficiently and were careful about our things. The estimate for the time to remove the wallpaper was not sufficient and in removing the wallpaper they damaged the wall under the old paper more than expected. This required a great deal of work to get the wall ready for painting. However, they did complete the work in the overall time estimated for the entire project, and we are very satisfied.

I'm very pleased. From starting with Brian McCracken, the owner, very quickly responding to my request for a price quotation through their accomodating my sudden need to get it done right away, they were very, very helpful. I don't think anyone could be more accomodating. The painter arrived right on time both days. He was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, professional, and pointed out a couple things I needed to know. He went right to work and puit in a good day's work. All American offers online bill pay which made payment simple. Brian McCracken communicated with me before and during the work, and in addition to sending a very nice thank you card when the work was done he called to ask if all was OK before he sent me the bill. Overall, I found All American is very professional yet friendly, helpful, and very easy to deal with. I'd use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The estimator from All American was very prompt and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions clearly and concisely and provided documentation of licensing on the spot. All American provided the most competitive pricing and I asked them to complete the job. Rod did excellent work. He was there each morning, explained what he was going to do each day. Then before he left, had me check the work and let me know what to expect the next day he was on-site. There was a one day delay, but only due to weather. They were able to almost perfectly match the texture on my stucco and the color match on the paint is nearly 100%. It looks great and I am very impressed with their work and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have painting completed, exterior or interior.

This was honestly one of the best experiences I have every had with any company. All American Painting Plus's (AAPP) sales staff were friendly and professional. I emailed several detailed pictures of my dormers that needed painted to AAPP. Within an hour, AAPP emailed me a detailed quote and copies of their insurance paperwork. AAPP did a great job painting the dormers...while I was at work. I was able to conveniently pay online. Finally, AAPP's price was half what I was quoted by other contractors!

The team arrived on time and worked steadily until finished. It took them four days,including searching for the right kind of beadboard. When they saw the job might go beyond their time limit, they added another painter to the team. In all cases, they were very thoughtful and accommodating and cleaned up after themselves each night. The job they did was excellent, This was the best experience we're ever had with painters and carpenters.

Brian quickly responded to my request for an estimate. The charge for painting was what I expected but the charge for power washing was lower so I chose this company to do the work. I was told by Brian when he called me on Friday that he would contact me on Monday to schedule the work. Megan called on Monday to advise that she had received the deposit which I mailed to them and went on to tell me that I would be called during that week to schedule the work. No one called that week so I called them the following Monday and Megan told me that they were in a meeting but Steve would call me back within an hour - which he did. I scheduled the work (both painting and power washing) for Wednesday, 26 August. However, a couple days before work was to begin Steve called to request the date be moved a day earlier. I already had another job scheduled for that day so we agreed to postpone the job until Friday, 28 August. Steve said that both the painting and power washing would be done the same day but, although the painters arrived on the dot of 7:00 A.M., no one showed up to do the power washing. The painters did a good job of removing the wallpaper and repairing the walls and painting exactly the way I wanted. They were hard-working, professional, polite and conscientious and, for the most part, I was happy. However, after reading the reports about them on Angie?s List I was expecting them to do a great job and I believe the work only reached the level of good: There were some obvious paint drips on the woodwork, there were a couple places where the paint was all bumpy, there was a spot that didn?t get painted at all, there were a couple paint drops on the floor and a paint smudge on the furniture. I didn?t notify the company about those minor problems because the painter?s told me when they left that they would correct anything that was wrong when they came back to do the power washing. Steve called on Monday, 31 August, to schedule the power washing. The power washing was completed on Thursday, 3 September. The man who did the power washing (who was not one of the painters from the previous week) did not arrive as promptly as the painters but he was professional, polite and hard working. He did an excellent job! I give the painting a grade of C+ and the power washing a grade of A+.

The consultation and estimate were informative and thorough. The management of the project was very professional. And the results were good.

Brian, the owner, came out to give us an estimate within the week I called. The estimate was completed and sent to us the next day! The day the work was to be started, it was raining so unfortunately they had to leave before they could start. They came back the next day, exactly on time (actually they were early and waited in the van). All three gentlemen were very polite, and neat when they both set-up and cleaned up their supplies. We didn't originally schedule to have our garage doors painted, but the painter asked if we wanted to as they might look funny against the rest of the newly painted trim, so we said o.k. Glad we did; they needed it and look brand new now. The whole job took two days. Very impressed with the work and our house looks like new again. I have already referred them to one of my friends in Rockville who has booked them as well.

They did very good work all the way through and the painting job was excellent. We had one problem with a bad product, which they replaced with no questions asked. They came and re-painted the area at no extra cost. They very responsive, came here early, did the job well and cleaned up very well after the work was done. They took good care of the interiors while the work was going on. I have already hired them for another job.

Brian came out and gave me an estimate for removing the wallpaper from two bedrooms and a bathroom, painting those rooms (celings, woodwork, and a closet) , and applying a border to the bathroom after walls were painted. Previously I had an estimate from another company that had painted for me, and felt the estimate was too high, plus they would not apply the border. After checking Angie's list, I found All American Painting Co. which was close to where I live. I prefer to do business with local companies. Brian came out within a few days and gave me an estimate. It was about $1,500 lower than the other comapny, and All American would apply the border. Based on recommendations from Angie's list, I went with All American Painting. I am thrilled with the painting job. The crew arrived every morning promptly at 7 a.m. and went right to work. The job took 2 1/2 days. They covered all the furniture, removed window coverings, and two heavy mirrors. Everything was put back in place after they finished, even all my heavy furniture. The entire crew was fantastic and excellent painters. You would never have guessed there had been wallpaper on the walls for about 35 years. ?

Incredible. Brian came out and provided a detailed room by room written estimate. Came back to walk the home and mark stop and start points for various colors. Was on time and professional. Rod and his team of 4 showed up on time were all curteous and professional. Rod paid attention to detail by drop clothing the entire home, closing all my vents to ensure dust or dirt didn't get in the vents. He went above and beyond by accepting multiple interuptions for deliveries I was expecting and notified us of an issue with the builders workers using our electricity and ran them off the property! Master bath was 8" custom stripes in 2 colors. Perfectly straight lines no issues. One room done in Red and was primed and took 4 coats. No streaks or roller marks and crisp clean lines. Any area's I pointed out for touch up were done willingly without complaint but there were very few of those. What else can I say, use these guys! A pleasure to work with. All work completed on schedule except the custom striping. That was due to a medical emergency and they spoke to me about it in advanced and ask if it could be completed the next day which I agreed to. It was done as they said and looks amazing.

Work done well, very clean, professional job. Careful about wallpaper removal so that no extra wall prep was required for painting. Question from painter about whether painting doors (4) was included in estimate was resolved quickly (and favorably) with a call to company owner. Wallpaper replacement (small job) was done later by a different worker, who did a perfect job. We would definitely use this company again.

From the estimation process to final billing we found All-American Painting to be one of the best contractors we've every worked with!
