I still didn’t have a clear idea about the quote even at the end of 11 days. I was e-mailing and he was reading what I needed. He was making mistake after mistake. He said he never makes such mistakes. Finally, I got tired because he was not responding to what I was asking. Other than that, he came on time for the appointment and everything was fine. I needed a quote and he took 11 days till he gave me a quote. I left a message and he called back the same day and came out in a couple of days. There was one more thing to be discussed, but we came down to a certain amount on one area. I had more than one area. I just got tired of getting back and forth reading my e-mails. He quoted me like $1200 for that one area. I thought that was really a lot for that particular area. I then reduced the work here and there to come down to $750 at the end. Other than that, he was nice and polite. He said that they do a very good job, but I thought that the price was too much. He also had a broken ankle and he was on pain killers. So, maybe it wasn’t his norm. I am not going to have anything done by him. After I decided that I am not going to go with him, he e-mailed me saying that he apologized and said that he knew he made a lot of mistakes. He also said that he would give me a 10% discount if I decided to use his services in the future. So, that was nice of him. I really don’t have any bad feelings about him. I really think he was on pain killers and that’s why he was making all those mistakes. His responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were all great. If he was going to be 5 minutes late, he called to say that he was on his way. I really appreciated that he respected my time. There are some people who don’t even call you if they come half an hour late. He was just late on the quote. I wouldn’t use him again in the future because his price was a little high. I had to chop here and there to be able to fit him into my budget.

Estimate was extremely thorough but the most expensive of three. I would still consider them, however, when getting estimates as I appreciated everything but the price.

Very responsive. Very professional (line item) estimate. Easy to deal with. We were able to schedule the work very soon after receiving the estimate. On the day of the estimate - and on the two days when work was performed - they were here right on time. We were very happy with the results. The painter they sent to do the work was very pleasant, very professional, and took a lot of care to keep things clean in the house. Great job!

The work was excellent. The level of attentiveness and the responsiveness of the owner stood out. They were first class.

All American Painting Plus, Inc. performed a thorough analysis and description of what they would do. We decided not to go with them since we are having larger work done and are going with our original contractor.

Brian came out to give me an estimate on both projects. He was promptly here when he said he would be and the quotes were emailed to me w/i a couple of days. This is the 2nd professional painting company that I've had to work at our home and the prices were comparable to what I had paid the other contractor. Both times the workers showed up on time and worked until the project was completed. For the living room that meant a full 12+ hour day, but they gave us the option of staying to complete the work or coming back the following day. We chose to have them finish. We had a total of 3 different painters and they were all meticulous in their repair, painting and clean up. They did a brilliant job on the wallpaper removal and all of the walls look outstanding. I could not have been happier w/ their work.

They were excellent and everything they did was very good. We liked everything, we did not dislike anything. Their workmanship was excellent. They were very friendly. They were very punctual - they finished the job on time. I would use them again in the future.

They did a very good job, were punctual and were very clean. They also gave an excellent invoice as well. The owner is from this area and is a reputable man.

I could not be happier with the work performed. The walls were in bad shape prior to Rene coming out. He fixed them and had the job done faster then I expected. I didn't even recognize the room when he was done. There was no mess for me to clean up after. Rene was very polite and professional. I will definitely be using All American whenever I need painting done.

All American Painting was punctual and professional from the beginning of our meeting until the end. They walked around the home, pointing out the work that they would perform, providing advice along the way. The representative was very helpful. While we ended up going with an equally professional contractor, I would not hesitate to recommend receiving an estimate from All American Painting.

We got three estimates, All American provided an estimate which I felt was a little high but was very close to another estimate we received and the third was about half of AA's and the other companies so I discounted it as too low. Brian McCracken, the owner met with us and provided some pointers about color schemes and was very professional. They were able to start when we needed the work done and did a fantastic job! The crew, lead by Rene were punctual and VERY clean. We were at work when the work was done each day and when we came home the house was clean and their equipment was placed in the corner and out of our way. The painting was some of the best I've ever seen. Even though AA was a little pricey, I would hire then again in a heartbeat.

We were very very pleased! Brian and his team are extremely courteous and polite. The team works expeditiously with high quality results. They completed this job for me with very little notice right before Thanksgiving. They leave the home very clean at the end of each work day and finished a day sooner than originally estimated. I would definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to others. The communication between Brian and his team are an example other businesses should mimic. Again, OUTSTANDING job! I have nothing but great things to say.

Individual doing work was timely and professional. We still have to find someone to replace wood piece at the bottom of the French doors that need replaced due to water [which was not part of our contract]. We are not sure whether All American does this work.

The crew was hard working and professional, prompt and courteous over 4 working days in mid October. They answered any questions I had during the work and brought additional items in need of repair to my attention. The quality of the work met or exceeded any expectations I had. While the cost added up, it was consistent with the amount of work performed and was no more than two other good estimates I received that involved only basic repair and paint.

Excellent experience. Brian came for an estimate, very courteous. Painter/carpenter spoke fluent English, worked dilligently and professionally. Cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Owner arrived to complete estimate on deck work and ceiling repair. One of his employees was able to complete the repair several days later (largely subject to my work schedule). Quality of repairs are excellent.

We engaged All American to repaint the exterior of our brick home. We had some wood rot and other areas of peeling paint on the brick surface. The All American team impressed us most by the amount of time they spent prepping the surfaces. Although the job was done on a a firm fixed price, a significant amount of wood rot that was not obvious at the time of the quote was discovered during the prep. All this was repaired at no additional cost. I'm sure many painters would have just painted over the problem but not All American. In addition, after the job was finished and I had signed-off that the work was complete and done well, All American came back to do a final follow-up inspection. During this inspection they found several things not up to their standards and came back at their expense and fixed these minor issues. All American did a fantastic job and I strongly recommend them.

Brian McCracken provided the initial effort and returned to check on the work and to see if we had questions. His foremen interacted with us as they progressed and checked with us for our satisfaction. It was a very good experience.

Great company. Everyone is very professional, shows up on time, and calls if there are any delays. The work is top-notch. It is hard to find a company like this. We appreciate that we found All-American Painting Plus. We will use them again.

It went great (as usual with All American). These guys are very professional and very accommodating to our schedule. The new wallpaper was done on a weekend morning because that worked for us. We've used All American to do lots of custom carpentry, and subsequent painting. We consult with the owner, Brian McCracken, about the work we are thinking of doing and he is so very helpful to us in actually deciding what needs to be done. They show up when they say they'll be there. We have left them in the house alone & gone off to work. When we return, everything is done & in great shape. We trust the people at All American; For several years now, they've been our "go to" company for painting & light carpentry.

All American was not my lowest estimate, but the extra cost was well worth the price. Brian's estimate was accurate and he patiently talked me through the work pre and post completion. His staff were universally professional and competent; they worked in my home unaccompanied and, from my verbal instructions and printed guide, accurately painted spaces with the colors I had selected. The TV cabinet removal ended up being more of a project than originally anticipated, and throughout the process, the carpenter and Brian were able to articulate to me (though I had not background in carpentry or handywork) exactly what was wrong, what they needed to do to fix the problem, and how long it would take. I am sure my small project was a minor one for All American, but they treated me with respect and never made me feel anything less than a client having her 10 bedroom mansion re-done. Overall, an excellent experience! And the results are gorgeous.

Very well. The result is what I need, and Brian McCracken and the men who work for him were courteous and professional.

The company did an excellent job fixing cracks and holes in the walls and painting. The interior looks like new. However, there were several areas of communication that were not good. Mr. McCracken came to my house to do the estimate. The original color was a plain white. I mentioned that I wanted some yellow in the new color. He left some color charts and the estimate came back at approx.$5,200. Also, the job involved wallpapering the kitchen. I sent a couple of e-mails and left phone messages about a start date and color that went unanswered. After a while a person came to talk about the color. He said that if I wanted some yellow it would probably mean 2 coats. He did not say, but I realized then that it would cost a lot more. I expected someone to come and show me wallpaper samples. On the phone, someone from the company indicated this would happen, but no. Eventually, I got in touch with Mr. McCracken (owner) who told me I would have to get my own wallpaper. The person on the phone (Mr. McCracken's father) gave me the start date. I got the official e-mail about the start date on a Saturday, 2 days before the job was to begin. To sum up here is what I think should have happened. 1. I should have been told when Mr. McCracken first came for the estimate that I if I wanted to change the color, that would cost substantially more. 2. That price should have been in the estimate. 3. I should have been contacted about the start date and color right after I sent in a check for half the estimate. 4. I should have been told at that time that I would have to get my own wallpaper. The second coat of paint added around $1500 to the job.

We were delighted to be able to have the wallpaper removed without damage to the walls (a problem we experienced when we hired another company to remove wallpaper from the kitchen). We also were very pleased with the professionalism of the team that did the work. They showed up on time, worked very hard, and cleaned up each day. Given all the work we had done, we had only one small glitch--shelf brackets were removed and the holes spackled in the bathroom with wallpaper. The shelf was supposed to be remounted in existing holes. When Mr. McCracken called to see how we thought the job went, I mentioned the miscommunication. He wanted to send someone out immediately to remedy the situation. I thanked him, but told him that was unnecessary. We chose All American because of their reputation, but also because they donate so much of their time and materials to support community projects.
