He took time to walk through the job, ask questions, and took notes in preparation for submitting his proposal. He kept in touch re schedule openings, and his team showed up on time when we agreed to a date. The work was also finished on time and the quality was very good. Although his price was not the lowest, the high quality of work makes it a great value!

We sent his bid to the higest bidder for their input on the differences in the quality of work and there basically was none, so we went with All American. They showed up on time and workd weekends. No issues whatsoever. They provided quality service at a reasonable price, and were professional, which is importat to us! Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Brian's team did a great job. We got 3 estimates, and Brian's was the mid-point. We believe the lowest bidder would not have done a good job and the higest bidder was way too high. We got an Angie's List price, which helped. Brian's team made necessary repairs to some of the siding and the house looks great. His team was here on time everyday - awesome - and very professional. Brian was in touch with us and there were no concerns. We highly recommend All American Painting Plus! This business is run professionally and that matters to us.

Due to an unforeseen structural feature that prevented the foreman from accommodating a wiring change that we had requested, Brian and his foreman returned, at our convenience and at no additional cost, to provide a perfect alternative solution. We will call All-American again when we paint the remaining rooms.
Description of Work: Prep and paint walls, ceiling and trim of seven large townhouse rooms; remove half wall, install and finish drywall where half wall had intersected the full wall. All rooms were empty.

They sent me a detail list to confirm what was going to be painted , how many days the job would take and a price breakdown for each room. There were no surprises. The workers were respectful and did quality work. My new home one year inspection came up and the builder inspectors complimented the paint and wallpaper job. They wanted to know the name of our paint company. Would highly recommend this company.

+ 1 moreWe contracted with Brian in February, 2012 to paint and touch up rooms in the interior of our house and, as we were so impressed with their work, we contracted with him again this month to paint the exterior of our house. Once again, we were not disappointed. When working with All American Painting Plus, you can count on the entire team being punctual and professional...they show up when they say they will, are very friendly and happy to answer any question you may have, are so neat you wouldn't even know someone had been in your house/yard and, most importantly, the quality of the work is impeccable. We cannot say enough good things about the entire experience and wouldn't consider using any other painting company for any future projects.
Description of Work: February, 2012 - paint three rooms and touch up alot of paint in other rooms in the interior of our house ($2000.00) and October, 2012 -paint the exterior of our house (everything that wasn't brick or siding - $5800.00) which included: replacing rotted wood, painting trim, painting front door and replacing all hardware, sanding and painting iron stair railings in the front and the back, painting brick wall of basement walk-out and front patio concrete.

+ 3 moreSee above. Rene and his crew arrived on time on the day agreed and worked without disrupting our household routine. They finished in a timely manner and obviously take pride in doing a very good job.
Description of Work: Brian gave us an estimate to paint the trim of the house including repairing rotted wood which was very close to the final amount. He noticed many things we had overlooked especially in the gutters and rake boards of a 2 1/2 story brick front home. They had to replace a lot of wood and patch many areas. First the crew powerwashed the entire house including the stone steps and front landing and removed all the mildew. They also repaired lattice on our deck which broke after a storm. They matched the original stain perfectly. I don't think we every had a previous painter do as good a job over the last 22 years. The price was reasonable and included an Angie's discount. A few weeks following the house painting the crew supervised by Rene,. returned and painted our 20 x 20 ft family room and 12 foot wide floor to ceiling book cases. They also patched the adjoinging mantle, painted all the baseboard trim, crown molding, walls and ceiling. The arrived at 7 a.m. and worked continuously until it was finished about 5:00 p.m. I was very impressed when they noticed areas were the molding or walls needed to be patched and just took care of it to make it a perfect job. The price was very reasonable and included an Angie's discount.

We noticed it was not posted when returning to All American Painting Plus for another project. We only wish we could remember the crew's names. The carpenter was more of an artist/craftsman than anyone we have ever known. He had to work from our drawings and executed the plan beautifully- making design improvements of his own. The painter was a perfectionist keenly aware of the esthetic impact of his work -even insisting that he retouch some of the work the next day that he felt needed improvement. They also installed a tripod on our garage roof for our weather station that has held even in serious storms and duly recorded wind speeds. Brian McCracken, the owner, had given us a fair, thoughtful proposal when he came for the estimate. He is a consummate professional leading a team of considerate, hard working craftsmen.
Description of Work: Installed furniture grade finished oak board over existing beams in family room. Worked with us on implemeting cabinet grade custom design and installation of decorative molding over mantle and around mirror over fireplace. Also installed weather station tripod on roof of garage. Painted one interior door, exterior of front door, and outside of door leading into garage

+ 1 moreTruly All American from the viewpoint of this veteran. I read the reviews on Angies List, the BBB, and then interviewed. Some reviews stated that his prices were higher; but honestly he came in $200 less for the ceiling patch and paint in my bathroom vs. what others had quoted me (for a total of $100). The difference with All American is that Brian empowers his workers while taking responsibility for his crew. Consequently, you find a smart crew who is proud of the work they do and happy in the job they are in. His estimates are detailed and his workers take the same painstaking measures in their work to make sure that it is flawless, even down to pointing out the guidelines for hanging the dart board and securing it as such. There will always be the unforeseen and we hammered that out. Brian's crew made sure that this was as convenient to my schedule, workers showed up on time, and were communicative. I could trust them in my home and with my house. Most importantly, they stood behind their work. Brian tried to charge me less, yes less, than originally estimated for any inconvenience; but I still paid the full amount as the work was bar none professional grade. What a blessing after experiencing a few real nightmares for contractors!

Throughout the entire job, he was easily accessible and always very responsive to my questions and concerns. The workers are professional and their work is exceptional. They called the day before to confirm the start time and showed up exactly on time. Upon greeting us it was evident there would be no language barrier (an important concern). They spent a lot of time prepping the housing (sanding, cleaning, etc...) to make sure the surfaces were all clean and smooth to accept the paint. The end result was fabulous!

+ 0 moreBrian showed up on time for the in-person estimate, and was polite and informative. He sent me a detailed estimate within a day or two. His 3-man crew showed up exactly on time on the day the work was to be done. The foreman and one of the assistants spoke excellent English and were very polite and respectful. They conferred with me about what we were going to do, and made sure we were all in agreement. The best thing about it was the high quality work. The carpentry repair was excellent, as was the painting. I keep looking at it in amazement. I have used many contractors before, and they are among the best. Yest, the job was small, but they treated it with care and importance. I am bringing them back to do some more work, and I will definitely use them again.

+ 0 morePaint crew arrived on time and worked regularly on house exterior over approximately two weeks except for holidays and inclement weather.Crew was very professional with great attention to detail. They discovered several places where siding boards needed to be replaced, and they carefully caulked where old caulking was loose or had fallen out.Fortunately I was home most of the time they were working and both the first and second crew chiefs were very responsive to my questions and concerns. Given the time and extra effort they took in completing the job, the cost of change orders to take care of additional repairs before painting was very reasonable.Applied siding cleaner and power washed entire exterior leaving no residual mess in shrubs around house.Painting done carefully in all "nooks and crannies" including, for example, spaces between boards on deck.The house looks very good now.
