The date and cost above are "guesses" since neither my wife nor I can remember. However, we were very satisfied with the work and the price was very reasonable. We can't remember if it was Mr. Roane or one of his staff, but the individual was very friendly and the service was punctual and excellent. Sorry we can't remember any more details, but our lack of memory is a good testament to the fact that the work was performed quickly and to our satisfaction.

These folks were very professional and kind. They backtracked old wiring to find problems, and fixed any breakages. They also fixed 3 prong grounded (not grounded) outlets and grounded them for us. They swapped out double -tapped fuses boxes for correctly installed boxes. Great service, cleaned up after themselves. A+

They were three hours late--no phone call to let me know. When I asked them about it, they said that they didn't know the plumber had told me something different. I should have gotten a phone call from one or the other. They were here for one hour, and charged me $275 for the hour. I went to Lowe's to price the material, and from what I found the material cost should have been around $58. They also make around $95/hour. So it seems that they over charged me by $125. I understand that there is a fee for coming out to the job. They have 30 min total travel time. When I asked them why they were late, they laughed in my face, which really didnt make me happy. The workmanship was great, but their ethics and pricing is lacking to say the least. The owner also never returned a phone call that he was supposed to make the following night, but he never did. I sent the check certified in full.

"Member is right about two things - we did hook up his electric water heater and we did receive his check for payment in full. Member's job was scheduled in coordination with his plumber for between 12 and 4 on the afternoon of March 14. His plumber was to contact us when his part of the job was complete. We talked to his plumber at approximately 1 p.m. Since the plumber had been coordinating all the work, we informed him that we would be there as soon as we finished the job we were on. We left that job at 2:30 and arrived at Members around 3:00. Member was cordial and did not mention that he expected us earlier. We finished and left the job at approximately 4:20. The material price of $58 quoted by Member does not come close to covering our cost. Special breakers for the job cost in excess of $50 and in addition we had conduit, fittings, connectors, and copper wiring. As to the statement that our mechanic laughed in Member's face - this is a new allegation. There was no mention of this in a phone conversation or in a letter we received from Member. When I questioned my co-worker (who has been with us for over 30 years) about this, he was dismayed. He prides himself on good customer relations and was disappointed that someone would make an accusation of this nature. Member called us on Wednesday, March 16 after he received his bill in the mail. I returned his call that day. At the conclusion of our conversation, I told him that I would review his work ticket and discuss the job with our mechanic to see if there were any mistakes made in the billing. After speaking with the mechanic, I called Member Friday morning and again at 12:40 Friday afternoon. I left messages, but received no return phone call. I received a certified letter the following week in which he stated "you and your staff enjoy your vacation in Florida on us." He went on to say "hope someday I can repay you." I hope it was not his intention to make threats against us. Now a little about our business: We have been in business for over 40 years and have an extremely loyal customer base. I personally have been active in the company for over 35 years. We have never before had our ethics called into question. On rare occasions we have a customer we cannot please, but this makes us realize how blessed we are to have so many kind, considerate, and loyal customers."

They installed a ceiling fan to replace one I had purchased only last year from another company that did a VERY poor job of installing it. They had a lot of corrections to make but, they did them all very well. They also installed three ceiling lights in my hallways. The house is very old and the ceilings and plaster are very difficult to work with. They did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. While they were here, a desk lamp blew out and they even fixed that! These guys are on my "call again" list.

They were on time, cordial and performed the work in less time than what they thought they would have to. They took off more than $100 of the original estimate because it didn't take them as long as what they thought it would - did this without me asking. They were great and I will use them again!!

I called them on a Friday morning and they were here by Friday afternoon. Everything was taken care of within 15 minutes and they are going to send me a bill. It cannot get any easier than that! I would probably use them again.

Roane Electric called my back very shortly after I left the original message. I was able to make an appointment for that same week. The men arrived exactly on time, were polite, finished the work promptly, and I was sent a bill the following week. I felt that the price was very reasonable. The whole experience was really great; I would definitely use the company for my electrical needs in the future.

First, David Roane and an assistant came at the time promised and then discovered that the old fan had been "embedded" in the roof structure and would have to be removed outside by a roofer. After the roofer took care of replacing the fan from the roof, David came back at the time promised and completed the job to our satisfaction. They were punctual and responded very quickly to our needs. In spite of having to make two separate trips, the charge was only $55, which we consider very reasonable.

This was the first time we have hired Roane, and it was a good decision. He arrived on time, and got right to work. He was very personable, and seemed to know what he was doing. The electrical work took about four hours to complete, which we thought was reasonably fast for the job. He also made sure there was no mess left behind. If we have any other electrical work to be done, Roane will get the job.

We had just purchased the house, and there was no power in the garage. We had hired Roane for electrical work at our old house, and he did a good job, so we called him again. He arrived before the agreed time and started work immediately. The whole job took a couple of days, and all wiring leftovers and sawdust from cutting into the walls was cleaned up completely.
