Very efficient and used time wisely. It was very, very hot that day and I was amazed at their stamina.

....Judy called me right away, after months of effort seeking to locate someone in my area who would/could do competent job on an out of control lawn and messy bushes and shrubs. Then the terrible storms came! ...She kept in close touch with me as the storms raged, and, literally, between rain drops ...got the job done -- to the point of perfection. My yard has not looked this good in quite a while -- and the price was very reasonable! We are now in the process of planning our future work....that goes beyond just yard work, and will include some home repair work. I am an an extremely pleased customer. Kudos to Judy and David!

Overall, D & J did a great job, were reliable and pleasant to deal with. I'm sorry I didn't know about them six months ago. If I were staying in Richmond, I'd certainly use them as my regular yard service.

i liked having proposals upfront. The proposal clearly stated the scope of work and the cost for each job. The work was then performed meticulously and they took as long as they needed to get the job done completely. I am very pleased and look forward to the maintenance work we have agreed on for the future.

On VERY short notice, this company was wonderful to work with. I called Judy at 7:45am Saturday morning, but did not leave a message. She called back about 10 minutes later to check in and see if I needed something. We were in a pinch and just moved into a house and needed the yard cut that SAME DAY. Judy was able to accomodate us, and was at our house within about 2 hours and did a great job. On the phone, she guessed the cost would be between 30-50 based on the size of our lot. She was right on and the cost was 40.00. That was completely reasonable given the quality and short notice that they had. The process was so smooth and quick. We will definitely use them again if needed! Thank you!!

the work was done very quickly and professionally. they were very helpful in working within my limited budget and extremely helpful in planning what else needs to be done around the yard. i highly recommend them.

David and one helper spent a full day, and then came back the following day to finish up and cart away all the debris. It all went well. They seem to know what they're doing, their prices are fair, and I can rely on them.

D & J were great. Due to the weather they were not able to do the job when originally scheduled but did get to me only 4 days later. After arriving I asked them to do additional work which involved removing overgrown shrubs and replanting some flowers. They gave me a great price for the other work and in order to get it done stayed all day, until 8PM to complete the job. They even did some things I hadn't asked for, like filling in holes in my yard and fixing a decorative brick border around a tree. I will be hiring them in the future for other landscaping needs.

The company was extremely responsive, understanding what I required. They worked within my budget. The company came up with a plan for landscaping that was better than I had envisioned. They made over my front yard landscaping area into a beautiful flower bed. They installed an edging border before spreading mulch. They cleared away old bushes and planted new, easier to care for bushes. Their lawn mowing service is at the average rate for this service in my area.

D&J responded to our quote request very promptly. In fact, they started the job before any of the other providers responded to us. They completed the job in 2 long days., and did exactly what they quoted, on schedule, and to our satisfaction. They are courteous, professional, and do quality work with reasonable pricing. We would certainly recommend them, and our next door neighbor hired them as well after seeing their work at our home. We were so happy that we've already hired theim for additional work.

Judy will call to schedule David's next visit, depending on the weather. They take as long as necessary to do the job right, and I give David a check when it's done. They really seem to care about quality, which I appreciate.
