Excellent !! The handyman was very courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgable of an array of household taskings. He began work immediately upon arrival and did not take a break; he was non-stop until all of the jobs were completed. Lane

Chris was friendly, polite and enthusiastic, and made two runs to the store to get stuff needed for the repairs. The repaired toilet is not running anymore (needs to be mentioned that I am putting in this report less than an hour after Chris left); and the kitchen shelf whcih extends from floor to ceiling is almost parallel to the sidewall. Earlier, it was jutting away by about an inch at the top. The bedroom closet needs sanding and coating but that will have to wait for now. The second running toilet will also be fixed later. Overall, good experience with Commonwealth Renovations and they will be strong contenders for any furture work that needs to be done.

Excellent overall experience. Installed ceiling fan, two exterior flood lights, drywall patching on two interior walls, fence door adjustment, and various estimates for future work. Price was an Angie's list deal for 3 hours of handyman work ($99). The work listed was done quickly and not dragged out to take up the full time. I used the remaining time for various smaller items and to get a few estimates for future work.

It was a great experience working with Commonwealth Renovations. I was so relieve to talk to a professional who had the knowledge of what needed to be done and how to fix the issue correctly.

It was the first time I had used them. You might find someone cheaper, but you won't find someone better. They came on time and did a good job. They also cleaned up well.

They did an excellent job! The estimate was for a three-day job - one day to dig, second day to lay and stamp the concrete, and the third day to stain. The weather was good and they kept to the schedule and price estimate. The workers were there on time and very pleasant. There was no haggling about the final price - it was the estimate minus their Angie's List coupons. The walkway looks great! I would hire them again. In fact, we will probably have them do our 75 ft long front walkway. Overall, we are very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

The gentleman arrived on time (in fact he was a little early) and got right to work. He was efficient and thorough and a pleasure to work with.

The job went extremely well, although we had a few rain delays. One of the great things about Commonwealth, that impressed me is that they didn't come out and try to rush through the job. They were more concerned with the quality of their work, than rushing to get it done. What stood out to me was their experience in the business. The owner of Commonwealth, JB Seif, has a brother Ryan, who owns the siding company. Ryan did the siding job. There were just two men, and they were very good. They probably had more than 20 years of experience. They were very receptive about knowing how we felt about the job. They wanted to know how we liked what they were doing, and if we could offer any suggestions. They were very professional. I would absolutely recommend them. I would give them Excellent in every area. Yes, I would use them in the future.

The patio turned out very nice. We are very happy with it. They were done quickly within a couple of days. They showed up on time each day. Everything went well and was cleaned up everyday. We love the end result.

We are very VERY happy with their work , their price and the hands on service by JB. We would highly recommend them. We also just got a price on doing our roof over (removing and installing) We like the price, and feel we will be happy to work with them again. After we sign the contract and go with them I will report on that I hope it comes out as fast, clean and as professional as the walk way .

All of the work was done with great quality and on time. It was easy to contact the company and they always kept us up to date on what was occurring. It was a very good experience, especially considering most other companies we dealt with for estimates, etc. did not show up on time or get back in a timely manner with an estimate.

JB provided the quote quickly and was by far the lowest (by several hundred dollars) to other contractors for the same work. He was also able to schedule and install the new roof within 1-2 weeks of initial quote, which was impressive since it was during the Christmas-New Years time frame and we were on a tight schedule and no longer living in the state. We were notified by our inspector that a vent collar had to be adjusted and one shingle replaced after the install was complete, but JB saw that the repairs were made within one week. Great company to work with. Thank-you.

Our house suffered some serious damage from hurricane Irene last year and needed the gutters replaced. Angie's List sent out a special from Commonwealth Renovations for $199 worth of work for $100 and I purchased 4.JB Sipe own's & runs Commonwealth Renovations and found him to be very professional and helpful. Initial call, left a voicemail that JB returned later that afternoon and we set up a time for the inspection. We discussed options (I was interested in a gutter cover also).JB noticed that my house (older) had a lot of wood trim/soffit that was in serious need of some attention including peeling paint & warped boards. JB informed me that he could clad the boards in aluminum, which I didn't even know was possible.The initial quote was to include $1600 to replace the gutters ($1100) and install a leaf guard ($500). The quote to clad the wood around the house & replace the soffit with vented vinyl was an additional $2200. I have a fairly large house with the base of the roof line close to 25 ft. up from the ground in places so this wasn't an easy job .The only issue I had was that on one occasion we were expecting someone to show up to continue working (several day project) and due to projected rain, the workman never showed up. I don't have an issue with there being a delay because of rain, just wished they would have called to let us know. I mentioned this to JB, he wasn't aware and said he speak to the workman. Aside from that, I felt they did a great job - the house looks fantastic. JB was very honest with me about the work, the time it would take and billed me for the exact amount discussed. I would recommend Commonwealth Renovations to anyone, not only in need of gutters & trim work, but I also plan on using him for window replacement and would have used him to repair my roof if I had known they do that also.

I am working on selling my house, and was in need of a quick turn around roof estimate. During a time when he's slammed with hurricane Irene repairs, JB took the time under extremely tight time constraints to come out and give me a thorough estimate for repairs on the known defects and a full assessment of the house. He was on time, professional, and the quote is very reasonable. We haven't moved forward yet because I need to work through potential buyers first. Overall, great experience so far.

J.B. is very professional and responsive. He manages his subs very well. Excellent quality work. Pricing was very fair.

I was very happy with my overall experience. The price was reasonable. They were very polite and had a lot of experience. They worked quickly and go the whole job done in a day and a half. They cleaned up everything before they left and even put all of the blinds back up. The windows look great. I don't feel any drafts. My friend has the same windows in her house (also installed by Commonwealth Renovations 3 years ago) and she is still happy with her windows as well.

When we initially contacted JB he met with us right away. We didn't know much about the different products but he explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions thoroughly. That helped a lot in our decision making. His crew of guys were prompt in starting it and finished everything in the time frame he said. We are so happy with our siding and roof, we would recommend them without a doubt. We are even planning on having them install a screened porch in the future.
