Super easy to book, communication was very transparent. For my first time using movers, it was a good experience. My crew were Amaya, Jerell, and Jaquan S. and they had great camaraderie. Professional and about their business. Would highly recommend.

They quoted a reasonable price for my move. When it came time to pay the price went up dramatically. They had my property on the truck and refused to unload until I paid. It was after business hours and nobody to speak with. They broke glass smashed and broken antique furniture. Horrible company. If I could leave negative stars I would because half a star is overrating this awful company.

Unfortunately, there was some damage. However, it was HOT and they were hard working.

I used All My sons this past week to move. Was told $189 an hour with $189 for travel. It took 2.5 hours to move my belongings and my bill was $1300. They were told by management to not remove my items from the truck till I paid. I was charged $75 for a roll of wrap which the movers take back to the shop to use for another move. The manager on for the weekend Ben, while on speaker phone said to his mover *I do not like this F*IN phone calls either* When I called to inquire I was never told about the material charges or fuel charges. They did however blow my phone up with calls and texts asking if I had decided on them for my movers choice. But never cared to tell me what all I would be charged. I am waiting to speak to a hire-up manager who is out till Wednesday. Ben also told me they have new staff that may not know of all that applies. Very poor service and this company is pure theft. The young men who moved me were kind, professional, and did their job well. Please be mindful of this company and look elsewhere to find this kind of service. Based on what was charged it was $630 an hour. In addition, I was scheduled for a window of 11-4 and they showed up at 10. I was told the clock started when they pulled up. I was also told by Ben while on the phone inquiring why all the charges were so high that the longer I stayed on the phone the clock was ticking. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! *** Update**** Called the company Wednesday to speak with Jeff the manager in regards to the situation that occurred this past weekend. Explained the profanity that was used, The miscommunication, and just the overall bad business that I experienced. Jeff never once apologized or stated he was concerned about the profanity or that he will need to make sure staff communicates all charges that will apply on the day of the move. Jeff explained he would call me back yesterday but I never received a call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would reach out on social media platforms to locate quality movers. The people that moved out of this home told me they had quality movers that moved everything into their newly built home for $400.

The guys were professional. The work was done as promised. They just took considerably more time than I expected but it was done right so I am pleased.

I would NOT recommend this company to my enemy. They sent one experience person with three other that broke an expensive cocktail table, broke a piece of the hand railing, knock the computer thermostat off the wall and cracked it. Custom service told to have replace and I pay for and they reimburse me. Also turn in a claim voucher but they didnt know how long it would take to get reimbursed. They had ass set up furniture, they left boxes all though the kitchen, we had labeled everything, do not know why they did not read what was on the boxes. Costumer service was know help. Thanks for the sloppy work!

Can't beat the local move. The movers were personable and professional. All of our items were delivered, but they didn't put the bed back together before leaving. They had another job to do and were running late.

Nightmare. Do not use this company. My fiance and I just bought a house and decided to hire movers. The drivers decided to move the heaviest piece (the only reason we hired movers) last. They could not get it up the stairs, put two holes in our wall, and said it would not go up. I tried to call the manager on a Friday to remedy the situation and he said he would call me back. Never heard back. Called this morning, and was immediately greeted with an attitude. Also, the drivers lied and said that I told them to keep trying which put the holes in my walls... WOW. Save yourself the stress.. these guys will steal your money and leave you hanging. Also. I have a career in event planning, setting up, moving pallets, driving trucks, using handcarts, etc.. you do not treat your customers like this and then blame them.

Nightmare move. The front line (front office, dispatch, and big Robbie Silver and his moving crew) were impeccable professionals. The management and company culture not so much. I would like to say Michelle at the front office is an absolute treasure and the primary reason I kept my contract with AMS. She handled all my questions with patience and positivity. My estimator was a very good salesman and in that regard, I think he is very well educated and informed. A very pleasant man to have a conversation with and excellent at communication. The estimate I received with a military discount was computed directly in front of me with 100% transparency, which I appreciated. However, the estimate was for ~$1700 total with a $400 deposit, which my wife and I were happy to pay. The contract was for two trucks and five movers to move our townhouse and 10x10 storage unit. My wife and I make all our financial decisions together, so we asked the estimator for some time to consider the offer and other quotes we had received from moving companies in the area. Ten minutes after the estimator left we received a phone call from the central office asking when we wanted to put our deposit down. First of many annoyances, mostly from their back office. We decided to go with the company based on the estimation, manpower, and equipment offered for the $1700 price. To be clear as well, the estimator guaranteed he had overestimated and that he was sure the price would be closer to $1300-1400 since all our furniture was disassembled and 95% of our belongings were already boxed, taped, labeled, and prepared to move. I have never used a professional mover so I did not know what to expect, but I should have known an offer that was too good to be true. Over the next three days, the back office called us three times, each time while I or my wife was working and unavailable to take the call. Each time we received an email saying if we did not call back to confirm our move they would cancel the move with no clarification of what would happen to our deposit. Ransom situation number one. We called back each time to confirm the move and each time we had to repeat basic information like our address and the start time for the move. On the day of the move, our address was still incorrect in their system so I do not know why they needed to be told three times prior. They also sent and attempted to bill us for 6 movers, which the dispatcher fixed after I called on the morning of the move, so I would love to know why I had to confirm three times for them to get every basic piece of information wrong. The foreman, Robert Silver, contacted us on the morning of the move and let us know when they were on the way and when they would arrive. They did not start the clock until they arrived at the storage unit and reviewed the charges and start time. Silver and his crew worked hard, hustled, and obviously had great teamwork and morale. Moreover, they were respectful and professional at all times while still having fun doing exhausting, backbreaking work. I can not say enough about him and his boys. However, the biggest issue with my move is that the estimator sent two trucks, and apparently, they can only transport movers in the biggest possible vehicle. So while all our worldly possessions fit in ONE box truck, we paid an extra $900 or so dollars for three movers in an empty truck. I have no problem at all paying these men for a hard day's work and believe me they all worked hard for their money. But not only was I badgered by their back office and criminally underestimated at $1700 (promised lower than that, even), we ended up paying close to $2500, a price that we absolutely had not budgeted for due to the assurances of the estimator. Feeling taken advantage of during a global pandemic is not a good look for a nationwide franchise. Overall very disappointed with the experience.

Stay away. I had an upfront estimate. They loaded the truck, went to the new house, and hiked the price by 44% $1,100. They held my belongings and threatened to leave with them if I did not pay. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I had the worst experience with this company. Would not recommend anyone use this company. Multiple pieces of my furniture were damaged and broken. The crew sent was unprofessional and not trained or skilled movers. The supervisory team lacks customer service skills.

AMS was on time as promised. Three very capable guys that were polite, and courteous. Moved us from a fourth flour walk up to a third floor walk up in a different, but near by (10 miles away complex. No broken furniture, wrapped and blanketed a lot of the furniture. Loaded and unloaded in 4.5 hours. Well worth the cost.

The crew that helped us were fast, thorough and so kind to my two young sons that were wow ed by the big truck! They were diligent about handling items with care, covering the floors/doorways and treated items like their own. We moved during COVID-19 and they wore masks and followed all protocols. They were lifesavers and we would have never been able to do this on our own.
