Description of Work: I needed drywall services following mold damage in my condo. In addition I purchased a new HVAC system and convector following the leaks that caused the mold problem. This required replacing drywall around both units. The larger unit required cutting the drywall to fit the HVAC system. Mr. Loayes and his team arrived on time and consulted the manager from the HVAC company on site to ensure the drywall would accommodate proper functioning of the HVAC. The team worked for a day and a half. In addition to installing and finishing the drywall they also put on a coat of primer. All work was done as written in their offer and they also built a box to cover pipes exposed during the convector installation in the bedroom. This work was not anticipated in the original estimate and the additional charge was reasonable. The team that did the work were professional and did a great job.

Description of Work: Repaired substantial exterior wood rot and repainted the exterior of the house.

Description of Work: We had a great experience with their crew. They painted the interior of most of our house (2 stories - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms), had them open the doorway into our dining room, and other small carpentry tasks. Their work was well done and thorough, and they had no problem adapting when I threw last minute requests at them. For example, while they were there, I asked them to remove the brass frame around my fireplace, which they did at no cost. I also asked if they could tighten the bannister on our stairs and rebuild our back steps. They did both for very reasonable costs. The only critique that I'd had of working with them was that they didn't provide an itemized breakdown of the costs in an invoice. However, when I typed it up and asked them to confirm, they did so, so at least I have some record of the work they did. I would probably use them again on future projects, though. They're very hard workers and eager to do any projects I threw at them.

Description of Work: Painted an entire (small) townhouse. Quality work done in a timely manner at a very competitive price. The cleanup could have been a little better but even with the extra I had to pay the maid service it the price was still better than most. I would definitely contract them again.

Description of Work: This is a professional painting team & Reno team. We had wallpaper removed from our entrance hall and an upstairs bathroom. The walls were properly repaired & painted. We also had an old 70's medicine cabinet removed from our powder room & they cut the dry wall & framed out the opening for the new modern cabinet & installed it. It fit perfectly. Also had an old 70's railing removed that divided the family room from kitchen, making an open plan. The removal was expertly done, so was fabricating the wood strip to cover the seam between the two rooms. The painting was expertly edged & caulked where needed. They cleaned up very well too. The team worked quietly and consistently until the work was done. Benigno, the team head, was onsite directing the team & was very polite & accommodating. Not the cheapest price, but you get good value/workmanship for the money. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We were very satisfied with our entire experience with Loayes Painting. They were one of 3 companies we got an estimate from, they were in the middle for the cost estimate. We chose them b/c I felt the most comfortable (they were not pushy) and they would do repairs to the water damaged ceiling, not just cover it up. They did a great job with the repair and great job painting. We had 4 different colors they used to paint multiple rooms, including a two story entryway. It was a 3 day job. Each day they showed up on time, were quick to get to work, finished at a reasonable time, and cleaned up the drop cloths, vacuumed, etc. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had some water damage in our finished basement - the team installed wallboard, primed and painted. Estimate was lower than other companies I bid with. The team arrived on time, was VERY clean with their work (blocked off the area, did not track dust through the house, cleaned up at the end of each day). You cannot tell where the holes in the wall were - they did a fantastic patch job!

Description of Work: He showed up for the estimate on time, but he never got back to me with a price. I guess he has enough work that he doesn't need my business, but he could at least have the decency to let me know.

Description of Work: Strip the wallpaper off all walls in a full bathroom, prime the walls, paint the walls/ceiling/window/door. Dramatically new color in the bathroom and it looks great!
