Description of Work: Cleaned carpet on the upper floor of my home. Hew was a little later then scheduled but he stayed until late in the afternoon and did a great job cleaning the very dirty carpets. He got out all the pet ( and kid ) stains as well as years of general dirt. Was careful with my furniture. The carpet took two days to dry, even with fans going for one of those days, but it took many passes in some areas to actually get the carpet clean. It was worth dealing with damp carpet for a couple of days. Would use him again.

Description of Work: I have used this service before and had run into an emergency situation to have my carpets cleaned when another provider cancelled at the last minute. I called Hews to see if they could help out since we had used them a couple times before and they did a good job. Mr. Hews said he could do it later in the day and that he would call 30 min ahead with a 4 hour window, between 2-6pm. I asked if he could make it between 3-6pm because I had to take the dog to the groomer at :2:30, he was extremely rude and said, "30 minutes, I will call and if you arent available, I wont come!". I asked that he just give me 15min, or some sensitivity as my daughter has been in the hospital for over a month and I really need the area deodorized and cleaned for her. he just shouted into the phone "I am not doing this job! I dont want this job!" and hung up. I was shocked and disappointed at the unprofessional and simply rude behavior. I will not be using Mr. Hews services again, that is certain. Even if I have to rent a steamer and do it myself,not worth putting up with rude people like this!
