I felt sorry that Hew had to totally dismantle the drapery; however, he did a very good job and I am very pleased with the results. Moral of story - don't wait too long to have your drapes cleaned.

Answered his phone immediately and scheduled me for two days later. Showed up a few minutes early. A very good (and quick) cleaning. Used his coupon which made the deal extremely good on our fairly good size house. Will use again.

I called to make an appointment to have my carpets cleaned and was given a window of 2 - 4 pm. (I took off work to come home early for this.) The gentleman didn't show up until well AFTER 4 pm...with no notice that he would be running late. (At about 2:30-2:45, I called Hew's phone number to get a guesstimate of arrival time, and was told he was "on the way.") Came in, took a look at the carpets, and got right to the job. My carpets did get thoroughly cleaned, but the paperwork said they would place pads under all the feet of tables, chairs, etc. and this was not done. I had to run around afterward and make sure none of the wood was damaged. So...the carpets? Yes, very clean. Overall service? It's a tough one. The rugs DID get cleaned, but I wasted two hours waiting for him to arrive. AND my furniture was left unprotected.

Beyond my expectations. As noted above, Hew is pleasant to work with; I felt comfortable about having him in my house. He is thorough and professional.

We loved Hew's and they did an amazing job. We did not think the tar stains would come up from our recent roof work and were thrilled when they did. We did the deal of the week through Angie's List but took a look at their pricing on the website before proceeding and actually could have gone that route and still felt like we got a fair price. Not only was he willing to come out on a Sunday but he called to tell us how far out he was and when he would be arriving during the window we were given when we made the appointment. He was professional, kind and efficient. He completed the work in an adequate time frame and did a great job. He even called the next day to check on our carpets and make sure they were drying correctly. I'm a huge fan.

I tried to set up a date. Tenatively we had a date set up on Sunday from 12-2. I got a call, he said he could fit me in on Friday, but I was at work. He was very rude to me on the phone. I said I would go with someone else.

He got most of the stains out. Only a couple of stubborn stains wouldn't come out but he had warned before starting that they likely would not come out entirely.

Truly exceptional. Hew himself answered my call and arrived on Friday in the morning as per our arrangement. He spent some time assessing the job and arranged to have a member of his company come on Saturday. In all they spent about 8 hours working to clean the drapes. The result was simply amazing..he is a mild man who delivers exactly what he promised...drapes that look like they are new

I called to ask about various services of theirs and their pricing, found the new "house cleaning" services to be not particularly good price, didn't have much to compare for their other services, but I liked that I could get multiple things accomplished with one vendor. They had availability the very next day. The same technician did the duct cleaning and the carpet repair and the work seemed fine. I considered having carpeted stairs cleaned, but the price seemed high and upcharges (deodorizer etc) were being recommended. I did send 2 rugs out to be cleaned, which I don't have back yet. I got a follow-up call with more push for upcharges on the rugs, for "recommended" services like serging which I had not asked for so I passed.

With the recent heavy rains, our sump pump stopped working and our carpet was soaked. Called Hew's in the morning and they were out that afternoon. They pulled up the wet carpet, removed and replaced soaked pads, applied anti-fungal spray, brought in 2 large air fans & a dehumidifier. The wet carpet was elevated and with the fans moving air it started to dry out. 3 days later Hew's came back, installed new tack strips where the old ones had gotten wet and reinstalled the carpet. We were very pleased, no musty smell and they saved us from replacing the basement wall to wall carpeting.

They were punctual and worked quickly at a fair price.

I was satisfied that they came back for free to re-steam the carpets the same day I called to complain.

HEWS CARPET CARE CREW CAME TO MY HOUSE & CLEANED 3 LARGE AREAS OF CARPET INCLUDING ONE THAT HAD NUMEROUS STAINS, & LEFT IT LOOKING BRAND NEW. ONLY NOTE IS THEIR CLEANING WAS EFFECTIVE & THE EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY WERE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS & POLITE. THANKS HEWS.

THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB, AND THE CARPETS WERE CLEANED TO MY SATISFACTION. I THOUGHT THE SERVICE WAS THROUGH AND VERY GOOD. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN.
