Hew's did an exceptional job cleaning the carpet in our home as well as all our oriental rugs in their plant. All of the work was done to the highest professional standard at a very reasonable price.

The gentleman was prompt and we discussed the carpet areas to be cleaned. I left the townhouse and came back at the appointed time. He was already packed up to go when I arrived. The first thing I noticed was that the edges of the carpet on the steps did not look clean. When asked about this, he said he tried and it wouldn't come clean. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave. I reluctantly paid him the additional money. Upon further inspection, I realized that he had not cleaned the carpet in the hall closet as we had discussed. And the edges of the carpet in each of the rooms were not cleaned. He did remove some of the spots that were on the living room carpet. Overall, I don't think he wanted to spend the time and effort to do a complete job. I purchased a brush and carpet cleaner and was able to remove some of the dirt from the carpet on the stairs.

I called in an emergency situation, because I had tenents moving into my home and the carpet needed cleaning. He came out that day and did an excellent job.

He kept in communication with us so we knew when he was coming. Just excellant service. I highly recommend this service and fully intend to use them again.

While I felt the services were slightly on the expensive side, they were comparable with estimates from other firms. But other than the price, I have nothing not to be fully satisfied on. Most of all, Mr. Hew is a very professional and personable person who does a solid job.

I was in a pinch and needed a carpet cleaner STAT! Hew answered on the first ring and had me down for that afternoon between 4-7 p.m. He showed up around 5, I think. He was very nice and got to work immediately and was done in less than an hour. He was realistic about the stains and said they'd be tough but he would try, which he did. The only issue I had was, I noticed after he left, that there were little black balls of hair/dust around the perimeter of the room which were very noticeable. Our walk-thru with the new tenants happened right as he was leaving, so it would have been nice for those not to be there...it was pretty unsightly. I didn't get a chance to get them before the tenants saw them, so that was a bummer. I also wish I would have known ahead of time the carpet was going to be that soaking wet because I would have brought a fan to help with the drying as the tenants were moving in the next day-not his fault, obviously, just a tip! Other than that, I had no issues and was pleased with his promptness. When I realized he needed an Angie's List coupon code instead of the coupon from his website that I printed, he allowed me to email it to him that evening instead. So he left without being paid (other than a tip I gave him for his coming so quickly) due to my not understanding how the coupon worked, so that was nice of him. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone in need of an emergency carpet cleaning! Thank you, Hew!!

Hew came out for an estimate several weeks in advance and was easy to work with scheduling. He cleaned the carpets exactly as we'd hoped so we could turn our property over to tenants the next day.

I would definitely hire him again.

The carpet cleaning took about two hours - he pre treated all stains and got right to work. I preferred this to the "dry" cleaning method. We delibertly picked this date as we were going on vacation and wanted the carpets totally dry. When we returned they were fresh, clean and dry! I am well pleased. They still look fantastic - a real good deep cleaning - he did a fantastic job!

We were scheduled to have an appointment today. They told me they would be there anywhere from 10am-12pm. My son took off work and paid $60 to board his dogs so he could be at the home when they arrived. When my son arrived to the house at 10:10am he found a card in the door from the company saying, "sorry we missed you". My son called them immediately and asked them to come back however they refused and stated we would have to reschedule for next week. The phone call then turned into a yelling match and resulted with the company hanging up on my son. The company was extremely unprofessional on the phone. The company is also just located down the road from us so I do not understand why they could not come back. I called them today and asked them to come back out and they said they are not coming back out and hung up on me.

It was great. They were on time and took care of all the rooms. Everything was left clean. He didn't want to leave me with wet floors and made sure they were dry before leaving. I would use him again.

I called Hew's Carpet Care and Hugh called me back within 24 hours. He was able to accommodate my tight schedule of having the carpet cleaned within 2 days so that my new tenant could move in on schedule. We agreed on a time and he was punctual. My husband said that he was very professional and polite, and that he did a great job cleaning the stained carpet. We would definitely hire him again, and have already refered him to numerous friends and colleagues!

I contacted Hugh and asked about price to clean carpet in my family room. Based on the square footage he said it would be $99 but if there were a lot of stains it could be more. I asked him to come by and look at it for a better estimate since it is a dark carpet, which he did that day. The carpet hadn't been professionally cleaned in awhile so upon examination, he said it would be $210. I reminded him that I was an Angie's List member and he said that if I bought the $99 carpet deal with them, he would clean it for that price, which I did. He returned the next week and did some prespotting in heavy traffic areas before cleaning carpet. He left 3 fans overnight to aid in getting carpet dry faster. When he came back to pick up fans, I showed him a couple of spots that still were remaining and he did a touch up in that area which took care of the problems.

Hew's Carpet's prices were competitive. They had an online deal for services. They did a great job.

My renters had just moved in a couple of days before and I told them I'd have the carpets cleaned and they were the ones who greeted Hew. Hew texted me and said the carpet had deep stains (on my dark brown carpet) and said the price would be $460 instead of $250 because it required extra cleaning. Shoes were not worn in the house and the carpet in the MBR was fairly new and I never wore shoes in there. I think Hew's dishonesty in quoting prices is bad business and any good work he did is overlooked due to his dishonesty on the pricing. I WILL NEVER USE HIM OR A DISHONEST PERSON AGAIN!!!!

I purchaed the deal offer on Angie's list after speaking with the owner about the areas to be cleaned. Everything went very smoothly. He arrived on time and did a fantastic job getting stains out! He said it was important for the carpet to dry ASAP, and since it was hot and humid he would leave fans on it overnight and then come back to get them the next day. The carpet is dry and looks great. He took the extra steps to do the job right and it shows.

It all looks much nicer now, and it was a pleasure dealing with Hugh!

We used the coupon from Angie's List for 2 rooms 99 bucks. We called on Thursday and He came on Sunday, which was great. The man who cleaned our carpets was extremely nice and professional. He did an absolutely fantastic job with our carpets even getting out a large stain that we had previously tried to get out. He even provided advice as to what methods would work best for getting stains out of our specific carpet. He was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend!

Hew, the owner, agreed to come out on a Sunday to perform the work. I just bought the home and the previous owners had a large dog. Hew arrived on time and quickly measured all the rooms for an accurate estimate. We agreed on the price and he went right to work. He used organic cleaners and left blowers to accelerate the drying process. He came back two days later to pick-up the blowers and offered to clean new stains the movers left behind. He was professional and motivated to do a good job. Overall, he did an excellent job. There were a few clumps of dog hairs that remained, but he explained it was a expected with the hair volume and a steam cleaning. I ran a vacuum through the rooms as suggested after the carpets dried and solved the hair clumps issue. I was happy with the results and his service.

Hugh was great, start to finish. I needed to get moved in and had to have the carpets cleaned and Hugh was available and quoted a very fair price. What's more, when he showed up, he reminded me of the Angie's List coupon and I saved $100 too. The carpets had probably never been cleaned and he got most of the stains out, not to mention the odd musty smell pervading the condo. Absoilutely top-rate work.

I live in a one bedroom 1 one bathroom condo for nearly 4 years. I have not had my carpet cleaned since I moved in. We had a female cat and had lots of old nasty hard to get out stains. We went to a local grocery store to try to remove the stains ourselves which costed us almost $75.00 for the equipment and the solution. However, the stains still would not come out. We hired this company to give them a try since they had good rives and a special for $99.00. The gentleman who came to clean our carpets was not only on time, but was 30 MINUTES EARLIER! It took him only about one hour and a half to clean our carpets. He was very courteous, friendly, and professional. He left his floor fans to make certain our carpets were dry which took less than 2 hours to dry completely. WOW what a difference our carpets look! All of those difficult stains were amazingly gone! What a great job. Our only regret is that we did not hire him sooner! We will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you for a job well done!!!!!!

I was given a time frame of 10am-12pm when the cleaner would be coming, and that they would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. At 11:30 I called as I had not heard from the technician. No answer, left a message. Called again 15 minutes later, again with no answer. At 11:55 I received a call stating hewa running later from a previous job and was on his way. He did not arrive until 1:10pm. When the technician arrived he was not very gracious about being so late. However, he did a great job cleaning the carpets. I would recommend based on the work completed, but not on timeliness and manner. It was an inconvenience to us for him being so late as we were prepping the condo for a rental and wasted time waiting for him and had to delay painting.
