He's a really nice guy, but I wasn't impressed with the work.

I was preparing my apt for rental. The carpet had numerous stains and I knew that not all of them could be removed. First of all, knowing that i was in a hurry to begin showing my apt, they went out of their way to schedule a convenient and quick appt date and time. The representative called just before arriving and came well within the 2 hour window they originally gave me. He did a much better job on the stains than I expected would be possible. I was imagined that I might receive lax service since I used a coupon however I received excellent service both in terms of customer service & the actual job itself. In addition, at one point I could not find my dog, I thought that he may have slipped out of the yard when the rep was going in & out with his equipment. This would have been entirely my fault because I should have closed him in the house. I didn't realize that my husband had actually taken the dog out for a walk. Regardless, even though it would not have been the rep's fault, he helped me look my dog and I thought that was very nice of him.

Hew was on time and professional, although I was really surprised when he showed up and told me he might not be able to even reach our 3rd floor (length of hoses not being long enough, etc). Ultimately, he could, but if distance is an issue, I would expect that he'd ask this question before setting up the appointment. So, as a heads up, tell him where in your house you need cleaned. Cleaning was fine, but I have since realized that if I take some soap and water to some our carpet stains, I actually get them out (not sure why Hew wasn't able to get them out). But at least our carpets did smell cleaner and larger spots were cleaned. It was a fine/ok job.

Great Service. Service person came in cleaned the carpets, gave us recommendations on what we needed to do in the future to keep the carpets clean and serviceable. Service person was able steam clean our furniture in a speedy fashion and added deodorizer to help with pet smells. Would recommend this company to anyone if asked.

Hew's was a great company to work with! They were responsive, professional, and punctual, which was hugely important to me. They reviewed the scope of work prior to beginning and told me how long it would take. While they were cleaning the dryer vent, blobs of lint fell on the floor, and they made sure to get all of those cleaned up before leaving. The coupon for carpet cleaning on Angie's List was a great deal, but $150 to clean out a dryer vent (NOT the entire air duct system) in a small condo seemed a bit steep. I'd hire them again, though!

We purchased a big deal from Angie's List for a carpet cleaning of up to 750 square feet. The company was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. They showed up on time and cleaned the carpet as requested. There was nothing wrong with their service, but I've had better carpet cleanings. In the past, companies have lifted up corners of furniture to make sure to clean around the pieces, but this company just went around everything leaving parts of the carpet untouched. I realize that some furniture can be heavier to lift, and I do not expect them to move everything around, however I've just had better experiences with carpet cleaning.

They showed up on time, took measurement and started cleaning. They were done within an hour. They did a great job. The carpet looked pretty clean. I would use them again.

He arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, placed protectiveitems under all items that were to large to move off the carpet. He worked very hard to clean all areas. We did have some stains that were not able to be removed due to something chaining the color on the carpet. But we were satisfied that he had done everything which could be done. I found him to be a very had working man who took pride in what he was doing.

We found the company here on Angies List. We saw that they had excellent reviews. When the Big Deal came available we purchased it. We spoke to owner to schedule and confirm - he was very responsive and clear as to services and timing. He showed up within the window he promised and proceeded to do a very thorough cleaning. I would have paid a lot more than I did for the services he performed based on how great the carpets looked when they were finished. Highly recommend and plan to use them again on a regular basis.

Overall Hew's Carpet Cleaning did a great job. The carpet in our bedrooms, hallway and stairway needed cleaning and one bedroom had several spots where the carpet had stretched out of shape. We had to reschedule our first appointment - Hugh and his crew got tied up with a job and traffic late in the day. This didn't present a problem for us. On the rescheduled day Hugh arrived on time and completed his work in about three hours. We are very happy with his work and the price available through Angie's List.

Overall, everything went swimmingly. I called several other places first and they quoted me much higher fees, close to $300, for my two bedroom apartment with about 1,000 sqft of carpeted space. I used the Angie's List coupon for this company. I think the coupon offered $100 for $300 worth of service. When I made the appointment over the phone, I was told the total charge may be higher than $100 if I had tough stains to be removed. On the date of my appointment, the guy arrived on time and was very friendly. He cleaned my carpets and did an excellent job. My carpets were in fairly good shape with no major stains before the cleaning but in the end, I got my full security deposit back and I have to say that was partially due to the good work of this company.

Hew came in, he was punctual and professional. I showed him the areas I wanted cleaned. I had a 2000 square foot home with 4 bedrooms a family room, 2 hallways, and a set of stairs. The size of my home covered more than the special, he gave me the extra prices, but Hew was fine with me not wanting to pay for the areas that were extra on top of the special. He just went ahead a cleaned what I asked him to. He cleaned the areas quickly and efficiently and spot treated the areas that I told him about that had stains left by the tenant. His work was very good and at a great price. I would certainly use him again and reccommend him to any Angie's List user.

Hews did a excellent job. There were many dark stains to include a reddish stain which I was sure would not be removed. He had special cleaning processes to get the carpet looking great. I would recommend Hews anytime!!! Very professional, punctual and polite.

We bought the voucher for $99 for carpet cleaning and were very pleased with the service provided. Mr. Hew showed up on time and a did a nice job on our carpets. He was very knowledgeable about our carpet type and even explained how we should care for our carpets going forward. We would use them again.

It went very well. I had a question about the service and they returned the next day and spot cleaned a few more areas for no extra charge. The crew was very polite and professional and we couldn't be more pleased.

Tech arrived in time, did a good job. The man who set up the appointment was a little rude.

It was fantastic. He came was polite moved everything around himself and clean the floors. No issues, quick and painless.

Mr. Hew and associate arrived as scheduled, were very polite, and started to work right away. The carpet was originally installed 25 years ago incorrectly (Not by Mr. Hew.) Mr. Hew properly trimmed, installed a new tack strip, and reseated the carpet, doing the additional work professionally and without any increase in the estimate. The carpet was then cleaned extremely well with a professional machine. They were done in about 3 hours, cleaned up, and departed, leaving a professional dryer running and picked it up the next day. Excellent job and value.

I bought the Angie's Big List Deal for carpet cleaning ($99 for $200 of carpet cleaning services) from Hew's Carpet Care LLC in June 2011, and used it in October 2011. The carpet cleaning technician arrived as scheduled and performed the requested service for our basement carpet and carpeted stairs. He advised us before performing the work that there were some stains in the carpet that might not come out. In the end, the carpet looked really good and clean, although some of the stains reappeared after it dried. The work was very satisfactory.

Job was done quickly (same day) and carpet looked great... all stains gone! Hugh (owner?) was a little gruff on the phone but overall it was a good experience and great deal.

Great job overall. Mr Hew was very prompt. He came and performed the service himself. The carpets were very clean after he left. He did not move anything off the floor. If you need certain spots cleaned, ask him. he was very professional and I am sure he would oblige you. I will use him again if need my carpet cleaned.

I purchased the $99 Angie's Big Deal service. I was very pleased with the service -- he showed up on time and was very thorough. He removed the tough stains on my stairs and ended up cleaning the carpets throughout the house. Would definitely use him again.
