Hew came out and machine cleaned 2 areas. He was prompt and courteous. He even gave me tips as to how to repair the carpet seam myself, which I really appreciated. A few spots lifted up from the padding after the carpet had dried (which is not uncommon) and Hew promptly returned and cleaned them by hand. The carpet is beautiful and looks like new!

the technician showed up in the appointed window (called 30 min ahead, as promised). He spent a couple of hours to clean all the carpets in the townouse, including 30 steps, then brought in big fans to accelerate the drying time. He picked them up the next morning. carpets look great!

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they are excellent. They were very prompt and got some stains out.

They were professional in that they did a good job with the stains and cleaning. However, when they showed up they helped my husband move out two very large and heavy couches. After cleaning they set up their fans and said they would return at the end of the day to retrieve them. Well, they didn't and we were having a party the next day. I had to remove the fans and place them on the front porch (ok, not that big of deal), but I had to help move the two very big and heavy couches back into our living room, which was something they were supposed to do. So, that wasn't awesome. Overall, they did a good job...they just didn't follow all the way through.

I immediately felt uncomfortable with the technician that came out. He introduced himself as Hew. I had this company come out 2 years ago and it was great so I expected someone else. It just wasn't the right fit.

They did a very good job. They were able to get the stains out and the carpet looked brand new.

Hew was very professional. He came in to do the work he was hired to do. When I asked him about repairing some areas of my carpet, he gave me an estimate and asked me if I wanted him to take care of it. Hew left his dryers to make sure the carpet thoroughly dried. I called him to inquire about a couple of spots and he came back and scrubbed those areas.

Great job, quickly done, and very happy with the result. I hired Hew's based on recommendations from Angie's List and was not disappointed. Great customer service, friendly with the appointment scheduling, and quickly performed. Hard to compare costs since I've never done this before, but it seemed reasonable to me. I would definitely hire Hew again for another carpet cleaning.

It went much better than expected. He was able to remove all the stains.

Hew answered my call and was able to meet at the time/day I requested. He called me in the 30 minute window when he said he would arrive to say he would be there within the next half hour. He arrived, was professional and cleaned my carpets. I was very happy with the service and the experience. He did a similar carpet cleaning in January of 2012 and his work then is why I gave him my repeat business.

This gentleman seems very conscientious and reliable. He left fans to dry the carpet and returned in the evening to pick them up.

In my opinion, when you find a service provider that offers excellent work along with honesty and integrity, you should tell everyone who will listen. This has been my experience with Hew's Carpet Care. I gave Hew's three carpets to clean. Hew evaluated all three carpets and advised me that one of the carpets should not be cleaned unless a glue/backing issue was resolved. He did not charge me for this evaluation but did a wonderful job on the two other carpets. Further, Hew promised to have the carpets to me on a specific day. Even though it was raining that day, the carpets were delivered on time, as promised. When a service provider earns your trust, they are worth an exceptional recommendation. I can recommend Hew's Carpet Care without hesitation.

He cleaned the carpet on the stairs and the hallway. It was very good. He was prompt for the appointment and I was pleased with his work.

overall, pleased with the results. there were better priced alternatives, but given the reviews decided to go with this service provider. carpets were in bad shape and he did a good job. he even came back to remove some additional stains that did not come out of the berber the first time. that aspect of the service was greatly appreciated since I'm not sure others would have done so.

Earlier in the year the basement had flooded and after extensive repairs, there was a need to have the old carpet cleaned. I was easily able to schedule an appointment within the next few days. After a discussion about the reason for the cleaning, they brought additional chemical agents to help deal with the flood damage, too. They were at my house at the scheduled time, performed their work quickly, and the results were good.

Easy to schedule. Did nice job. Left dryers in o/n to dry carpet. Very pleased.

Hello, I recent purchased the $99 for $200 of carpet cleaning from Angies List website's Deals and Offers. The company who was to do the work is Hew's Carpet Care LLC. I bought this deal for the sole purpose of getting my staircase carpet cleaned. However, when the gentleman arrived to do the clreaning he explained to me that I cannot use the Angies list deal of the stair cleaning. He said that the deal was for wall to wall cleaning only. However, nothing on the coupon said that I could not use the deal for my carpeted staircase. I always look at the fine print before I buy any of these offers and here is what the fine print said: The Fine Print: Not valid for cash back Coupon cannot be combined with other specials or offers Coupon cannot be applied to current or past jobs Coupon is for residential service only Appointments are to be performed during normal business hours Appointments must be made during normal business hours Normal Cancellation policies apply One per house may buy as gifts! Area rugs not included Coupon expires 4 months from date of purchase ---- Again, nothing about stairs. They only referenced area rugs. If I had known that this was the case, I would NOT have bought this deal. I have requested a refund through Angies List since the cleaning of my carpet did not happen (we'll see what happens!!!). So not to make this a total waste of time, I decided to pay an extra $80 to have him clean my futon since he was already here with the equipment and I had already taken time off work to be home.

Mr. Hews has a pleasant and agreeable personality. Do expect him to call in advance and arrive as arranged on phone. Mr. Hews took on the task of removing some difficult coffee stains - we are so pleased with his success! Do expect him to be thoughtful.

The company was very responsive and easy to schedule. They arrived on time and did the work very quickly. I wasn't impressed with the overall quality of the cleaning...

Hew's did a great job with our rental move-out. The carpet was a 5-6 year old tan carpet which we lived on for 3 years - multi areas of spots of wear. We purchased the $200 service for $99 deal and fully expected additional money with the spotting we had. Hew's was quick, thorough and did not nick & dime us over every area or attempt to tack on a lot of extra 'needed' work like so many of the carpet care companies. The carpet looks better than when we moved in & we couldn't be happier.

Excellent work. the job was quickly scheduled and was expertly completed. The stains (some mysterious in origin and some from pets) were completely removed thus restoring the beauty of the light colored carpeting. Fans were left in place to complete the drying process. I was very pleased with the punctuality, professionalism and quality of the work. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

On time, helpful in moving things to get to the ares to clean.

It was very good. He actually came when he was supposed to and did what he was supposed to. The charges were what we had talked about.

We had Hew's do carpet cleaning in a house that was around 1 year old. Carpet had less than six months of very light wear by a family of three. Carpet was in the bedrooms and office - not in high traffic areas. Vendor knew in advance that I had an Angie's List coupon. The entire visit took 1 hr and 20 minutes to assess, set up and clean the carpets in five rooms. There was one spot in the office that I showed the vendor. It was black material from a desk chair - I assume that it was some sort of lubricant. His response to the spot was "I can get that out". A second stain from a previous tenant was in the upstairs room. I never asked him to address that spot. When I questioned the charges after the fact, the vendor stated that I was charged an additional $190 for "special attention" to a stained area - nearly doubling the price of the cleaning. He claimed that there were grease stains in four rooms - this was untrue. Two of the rooms were unused during our stay in the house, nor did he point out those stains. It took the vendor 1 hour and 20 minutes to measure the rooms, compute the total, set up the equipment and clean all five rooms measured at 923 square feet. There is no way that timeline afforded the vendor the ability to give my carpets "special attention". When I contacted the vendor to ask about the excessive charges his response was "There were tar looking stains seemed like asphalt, I will not do a refund. Cheers" I found him to be unprofessional. He also left puddles of water on the hardwood floors that he did not clean up before he left the premises. I would definitely not recommend nor use this vendor again. I wish that had checked other review sites before buying the Angie's List coupon.
