Alan and his team are fantastic and I learned so much about networking and Audio/Video from them! Even though his company title says he does home theater work they actually do a lot more than that. These guys do professional level Audio/Video/Networking related work for big companies, government agencies, and embassies. They are top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially big businesses!

We have a complex phone system with multiple lines and a number of phones throughout the home. Following a repair call from the phone company, the system was not working properly. We hired Star Home Theater to diagnose the problem and repair the system. Although, they had not installed the system, they were diligent in tracing the source of the problem and following up to ensure the repairs were effective. We would recommend Star Home Theater and will call upon them in the future.

Owner showed up early, was very professional and easy to communicate with. Really pitched in quickly and got to work fixing the problem.

The owner, Alan, is super responsive and bends over backward to make you happy with the installation. His staff are also very pleasant and competent. They even returned when we detected an odor coming from the fireplace after the installation and suspected it might be wires smoldering on the fireplace enclosure. They showed us that the problem was not a result of their installation, even though a great deal of labor was involved. They charged nothing extra for this. They installed a passive sound bar whose sound just amazes me. Along with the ceiling speakers, I have a terrific sounding 7.1/ATMOS/DTS:X system. I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone in the Washington DC area.

Star Home Theater is an excellent company and I was very happy with all the work they did in our home. We had another theater company install our theater but will never allow them to touch it again. Only Star Home Theater will work on our theater. They also put in a home network and our internet works excellent. I would hire Alan and Star Home Theater again anytime. Thank you!!

Very professional -- extremely competent

Alan is simply the best. He quickly figured out my problem and fixed it. I'm an engineer but would not have figured this out on my own. I wish I would have contacted him a month ago. He is very honest and he knows what he is doing. If I have any other issues, I will call him before all others. 5 star without question.
