Our yard looks fantastic. It looks better than I expected. We are very pleased.

Blue Sky made dealing with them from overseas simple. They responded promptly to emails and made the process easy and stress free. I appreciated that they followed up and provided pictures of their work.

I have liked everything about them. I especially like the fact that they are reliable, good, fast and responsive.

The price depends on the job itself. They have great customer service, they are always there when they say they are going to be there and anytime I need to get a hold of a person, I can call Jim, he takes care of me. The quality of the work has been great.

I've only been using them for a few months, but am happy thus far. After using one provider for the past 8 years, it is difficult to change suddenly, but all my fears were unfounded. My grass is cut weekly, weeds pulled and managed, and irrigation checked frequently. I'd consider them a full service provider. I've personally have worked with Jim - he is the best!!

Ultimately, our client decided to handle the landscaping themselves, so we did not use Blue Sky. We have worked with them before and, as always, they are great to work with. They are responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We will definitely use them in the future.

They were reasonably priced, they did a great job, I just had a great experience with Blue Sky.

From the time I first contacted the company, I was impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. Michelle and Jim were a pleasure to deal with. I had a lot I wanted done but wasn't sure what I could afford, so Jim broke the detailed estimate down into separate costs for each task, allowing me to make "a la carte" selections. All my questions/concerns were addressed by Michelle and Jim. I was able to get everything done that I needed because, while this job wasn't cheap, it was without doubt the most reasonable/affordable bid I received. Some of the other contractors didn't even respond, or gave bids that were outrageous for the small amount of work they would do. Another didn't even come out to look at the property but gave an estimate based on Google Earth!. The crew of 4 worked steadily, were careful around the property and were polite. There was one small task on the list they (and I!) overlooked. When I realized that, Michelle responded immediately and the task was promptly rescheduled and completed. I have done my own gardening/yard work for 40 years and am now handicapped with arthritis and facing surgery. I'm not sure how much work I'll be able to do from now on, but one thing I am sure of and that's having Blue Sky take care of our landscaping & yard work needs. I plan to use them again for Fall/Winter cleanup & prep.

After an Angie's List search, I contacted Blue Sky via their website to request an estimate. We just moved into the area, and our yard is a mess...in desperate need of weeding and mowing. In my request, I clearly asked for an estimate for a spring clean-up and mowing as well as a quote for regular maintenance. I submitted the request on Friday afternoon and received an email back on Monday afternoon stating that my request had been received and that I was on the schedule for an estimate. So far, so good. On Wednesday afternoon, I received the estimate and was a little confused as it didn't seem to address my request at all. On Thursday afternoon, I called Blue Sky for clarification. I was told that the quote was for mowing and while they could spray for the weeds, they would not touch the flower beds, which were also overrun with weeds. I asked how that would address the issue, as the weeds in the flower beds would just blow back over into the yard (as I was told by another company that actually visited my home to give me a quote). I also repeated my request for a Spring Cleanup quote, which their website and Angie's List listing clearly stated that they can provide. I was told that it would take at least another week to provide me with a Spring Clean-up quote (I would have to go back on the schedule) and that they wouldn't even be able to fit us in for more than a month for that service. I am extremely disappointed in their handling of the matter. If they couldn't provide the service(s) I clearly requested, I wish they would have told me up front and would not have wasted my time!

First of all I like the fact that they actually reply to emails within reasonable time span, which not many home servicing companies do. They usually do not schedule work on weekends, but are kind and flexible enough to make it on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. Five guys spent three hours to complete the work. They cleaned the entire yard first, even the lawn that does not need mulching. They put quite a generous amount of mulch. And after they finished mulching they also cleaned everything up and left no trace of mulch on the road. Overall very professional team and great services.

The Blue Sky staff is very responsive, and they did an incredible job. One area of trimming I had requested was missed; however, the rest of the job was above and beyond what I had expected so I didn't mention the missed trimming. I'm sure had I mentioned it they would have scheduled a followup appointment so I cannot ding them for this. I'm VERY happy with the results.

It went well, the estimate process where they sent someone out went well, the price was fair, and the work was done professionally and cleanly. I would use them again.

I contacted multiple landscape companies, all recommended on Angie's List, to spread mulch and clean the beds in our lawn. Blue Sky was the first to respond and very easy to work with. Their estimate was fantastic compared to the others; they were, in fact, less than half of two other estimates. With the price, I had concerns that the work might be substandard, but they FAR exceeded my expectations. They came today and did a fantastic job. I also really appreciate how clean and tidy they left everything. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

The work has been very good. They do an excellent job. They are punctual and clean up after themselves.

They sent over a crew and a supervisor who walked me through the yard and let me point out particular things to be cleaned up. The supervisor really seemed to know his stuff and even made suggestions for future improvements to the yard that wouldn't be too expensive. The crew cleaned up the whole yard, trimmed all the shrubs and bushes, and added new mulch to get us ready to show the home. The price was almost a third of what other people estimated and the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Excellent response and service. Perfect shrub cutting and an immaculate leaf-clean up. I also use them for grass cutting when the season is right. Great company at a fair price.

I liked them. They showed up on time. I did not interact a lot with them. I checked their work and it seemed okay. I did not have any problems with them.

I was not present when they were here but everything seemed to be okay; the service was up to my standards. Everything went well.

No services performed yet. Have contracted for landscape and lawn service for 2013. Will provide an update to this review after a few months of service They plan to provide the same services I had last year at a very competitive price.

Team was very professional, punctual and kept the yard in great shape. I decided to add some additional services to their basic maintenance plan about half way through the year. They came to my home, listened to my additional requirements very carefully and incorporated them into the weekly service plan quickly with no issue. The yard looked great!

Went well overall, very please. Will likely renew the service this year. Occasionally mowed when I felt it wasn't necessary, but wasn't terribly onerous.

All work has been performed as described. Blue Sky was punctual, efficient and performed all work as agreed. I have had to fire two other lawn services and Blue Sky has been the best since I moved to Northern Virginia.

We have a 1/2 acre lot and contacted Blue Sky for an estimate to cut the lawn. I was shocked when I heard they would only charge $35 for cutting and edging - and had to clarify if that included both the front and back since the price was so low. When they confirmed it was for the whole lot, I didn't bother with a second estimate. They came on a weekly basis during the late summer and fall (when we moved here) and did all the work that I asked.
