Maid Bright

Maid Bright has been cleaning our 3BR, 2BA 2-story house for a year-and-a-half. Always reliable. Always great work. Recently a family emergency caused me to send the cleaning team away when they arrived for our scheduled cleaning. The crew member reacted to my sudden dismissal with complete sympathy and professionalism. When I emailed to reschedule the cleaning, Sanaz offered to put us on the schedule for the upcoming Saturday. The team arrived around 3, and even though our cleaning came later in their day, that did not result in a reduced effort by the crew. They did an excellent and thorough job, even though family members were home and they had to work around us. We are not a particularly messy family and our home is relatively tidy and clean in general. Because of that, I notice the details of the regular house cleaning we have Maid Bright perform. They always do a great job. One crew might complete the cleaning a bit differently from another, but any concerns I bring to the attention of Sanaz are acknowledged. As a consequence of our overall experience with the house cleaning Maid Bright has provided for us for many months, I can highly recommend the company for consistent, quality house cleaning at a very reasonable price.

I called to schedule a visit to evaluate my needs. I was pleased that I actually spoke to someone instead of leaving a message. The visit was scheduled and I was also advised of the name of the individual. Dennis arrived promptly and immediately showed me liability insurance documents and bonded paperwork. He walked the house with me and said that the team (2 people) would not move anything on the furniture but rather dust around it. Based on that discussion I thought that it would be best for me to do the dusting and they could clean the bathrooms (5 1/2), hardwood floors (foyer, LR, DR, Family Room & 2nd floor hall), kitchen floor and vacuuming. When I spoke to Jay, the owner, he said that they do not perform partial cleanings. The entire house including the dusting is done. I was offered a trial cleaning and I would pay per hour instead of a flat rate for just this cleaning. I followed up with a call to the office and scheduled a cleaning. I was told I would be called the day before to advise the time. Maid Bright followed thru with the call advising an 8:30AM arrival. It was 9:10AM and the team had not arrived so I called Maid Bright for status. I was told they were on their way and would arrived in 5-10 minutes, which they did. I had requested that at least 1 person speak English. One person spoke minimal English and the other spoke no English so it was difficult to communicate. I asked that they describe the cleaning solutions. I was told that the spray bottles consisted of water with a small amount of "green" cleaning solution. They were going to use it on my hardwood as well but I asked them to use my Bona hardwood floor cleaner. (During Dennis' visit he had stated that the hardwood would be cleaned with a special wood cleaner.) I also supplied them with my Weiman granite counter cleaner. (During Dennis' visit he had stated that the granite counters would be cleaned with a granite cleaner.) Nothing was scrubbed, just wiped with the watery solution. The bathroom floors were wiped with a damp rag. The kitchen floor was also cleaned with a dirty damp rag on the end of a mop. Nothing smelled fresh or clean. Dennis also said that extension poles would be used to clean crown moldings and the furniture would be vacuumed. Neither of those took place. I paid with a check but the company requires a credit card on file even if I plan to set up regular cleanings and pay with a check. I was uncomfortable with this but if I was blown away by the cleaning I was willing to do this. Based on my experience, I will not be using their services. UPDATE TO MY COMMENTS ABOVE FEB. 25, 2012 The owner, Jay, contacted me on Saturday following my cleaning and we had a very lengthy discussion regarding my concerns expressed above. He explained that many of his current customers are worried about allergies, scents of products used and the contents of the products not only for adults but for their children and pets. Therefore Jay has changed to "green" cleaning solutions. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and willingness to please his customers. He has offered to have his crew return to clean my home with my products. I am very impressed with Jay's conscientious and desire to meet my needs; and have decided to give them a second chance. I am hopeful that all will work out. Stay tuned :) . UPDATE TO MY COMMENTS ABOVE MAR. 19, 2012 I scheduled the crew for another cleaning and also asked if Jay, the owner, was available to be here as well. A crew of 3 arrived as scheduled and Jay arrived shortly after. I had set my cleaning products out for each room and explained to the crew that they were to use most of my products. I am an type A personality and it is very important to me that my home be cleaned thoroughly. It was great meeting Jay and it gave me the opportunity to outline my expectations with him. He responded positively to all my requests, made detailed notes and said that all the information would be transferred to his office records. Jay is very personable and he is very concerned about making his clients happy. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of this cleaning. I have tried several cleaning services and have been disappointed and frustrated with the inconsistent quality of the cleaning. I have been searching for a house cleaning service that I feel confident will meet my needs. I will be scheduling monthly service with Maid Bright in hopes that they can continue with the type cleaning they provided me today so I will experience the consistent superior service I require. We have been using the Maid Bright's services for few years already and have been very happy with their performance. We are on the monthly schedule and we always get the same crew who is very familiar with the condo and after every cleaning our house is spotless. Girls are very friendly, pleasant, quick, and professional. They are very careful about our our personal belongings. Also, the office staff is very responsive, if we need to reschedule the cleaning.

Like the way he came to the house and check the house and they worked our way I really liked the way they worked we are going to use them very three weeks. they did very well and they called me back to see how to their service was and I was happy with the way they did their service.

We have a 5 month old baby and both work full-time, so it's been difficult to keep up with the housecleaning. We haven't used a maid service before. A company representative (and a representative-in-training) came out in advance, for free, to look at the house and give us a price quote. They couldn't have been nicer. I wasn't home for the initial housecleaning, but was really pleased with the results. Our house is cleaner than it's been since we moved in 1.5 years ago. If we can fit it into our budget, we'll definitely sign up for cleaning on a regular basis.

After calling for an estimate they were able to come to my house in 2 days and have a team to my house within 4 days for a move-out cleaning. The ladies did a great job and were done in about 2 hours. I look forward to using them again.

Excellent response to my inquiry. An estimator came the next day, did a thorough inspection and gave me a detailed estimate for the cleaning job, which was significant, since we just had a major kitchen remodel. The cleaning team came on time and worked hard for more than six hours straight. Overall extremely pleased with the whole experience. We'll use them again.

I like them because they are prompt and they come with their own equipment. They are good and they do what I ask them to do. There is nothing about them that I don't like. I am very happy with their work.

They did a great job, we have had 2 cleanings so far and my wife is actually happy with these people! Granted it has only been 2 cleanings right now but my wife and I have been very pleased.

The representatives, were punctual and thorough. They did an excellent job and were very pleasant.

Based on the positive reviews (and my previous negative experiences with other cleaning companies), I gave Maid Bright a try. Bottom line, I couldn't have made a better choice. Individual attention to your specific needs by the manager and an impeccable job by the cleaning crew. I signed up for monthly service after the initial cleaning and I look forward to having a long term relationship with Maid Bright.

We were looking for a company to clean our home weekly. We contacted Maid Bright and Jay, the owner, drove out to Rockville to give us an estimate and set up our service. While the company is a bit more expansive than many, their services are excellent. They provide all products, bring their own vacuum. Reyna and Maritza are extremely punctual, trust worthy, professional, and respectful of us and our two elderly indoor cats. The house sparkles when they are finished. Jay, the owner is willing to accommodate reasonable requests for changes to our schedule.If you are looking for a company to spruce up your home for the holidays or to schedule routine cleanings,weI highly recommend Maid Bright.

I was looking for a new cleaning service and found several on Angie's list that I was interested in. I particuarly liked Maid Bright's approach to the in-house estimate. The gentleman arrived early, did a complete walk-though of my house and pointed out clearly what would be cleaned as well as what would not, so I would know exactly what to expect. I was very nervous about the initial cleaning cost, as my house hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in months, but the initial cleaning quote was very reasonable, and the bi-monthly quote even better than I had hoped for! The maids that came did an excellent job, and I have since signed up for bi-monthly service, which is going very well.My only complaint is that because they don't want to risk breaking anything fragile, many areas don't get dusted as well as I would like, but the gentleman was very up front about that in providing the quote, so I knew to expect that.

Maid Bright is an extraordinary cleaning company, with a high reputation amongst most of my friends and neighbors. I have used Maid Bright bi-weekly for over a?two years now and they are very thorough, use eco-friendly products, show up always on time, if you leave fresh linen out they will change the beds, and they remove the trash and recycling from the house.I've had the same ladies from the start and they are very courteous, friendly,and professional. Now that we have a full house of people, it is?imperative that our house be?cleaned very well from top to bottom and Maid Bright goes above and beyond our cleaning expectations. The quality of the service has not lacked since we started using Maid Bright and will continue to use them for our household cleaning needs.

The Maid Bright team is very professional, including their courteous office staff. Recently, I have had to call them to request extra services such as appliance cleaning in my home, and they made sure to communicate with the cleaning crew regarding my requests. Not only did they make sure the extra request got taken care of, they were so thoughtful in asking about the quality of the service thus far. This really made a difference in how I perceive this company. I had nothing but praise to offer them, but taking this extra step shows how much they care about their customers and the quality of their service.

Everything turned out excellently! If it's not done to your liking they will come back within 1 or 2 days to do it right. We've used them 3 time and plan to continue to use them again.

The ladies who come to clean do a great job, but the office staff is awful. They do not listen to messages, nor do they pass messages on to their cleaning ladies. On one occasion I called 24 hours in advance to cancel for the next day, and the next day got a nasty call telling me I did not cancel. Yes, I did. I left a message. Yesterday I called again 24 hours in advance to let them know I needed to leave for work no later than 9:30AM so the maids needed to be at my home by 8:00 AM. No cleaning ladies showed up. You cannot communicate with this company at all.

They were the best cleaners I have ever had. The women that did the cleaning were very sweet. They knew what they were doing and did the work quickly. The man that gave me the quote for the work was nice and professional. The work that was done was exceptional. The apartment was immaculate.

Maid Bright has cleaned my house three times so far and each time it was cleaned to my expectations (which are high). They do a wonderful job and even do extra little touches. I haven't been disappointed yet and do not expect to be. When I emailed them about a small problem (they locked the top door lock for security and my dog walker couldn't get in), they responded promptly and were very apologetic even though it was my fault as well for not clearly communicating that my dog walker may be there at the same time. They were very professional and changed the time of service so there would be no conflict. I look forward to them coming every week and am always happy with their service. Their price is very comparable to other services and they do a better job. I highly recommend them!

I had a hard time getting a hold of Maid Bright at first, through email and phone messages. Once I made contact, the service was set up and conducted very smoothly. Before scheduling a service, they sent a manager out to my house to meet with me and discuss service options and cost. He was very courteous, for example, on his way he called because he'd be 5 minutes late. We discussed the service and agreed on the price. After our meeting, we set up the first cleaning via email. The day of the week needed to change from the initial discussion based on their schedule, but the change worked out fine for me. The first cleaning was suberb. They have been back for a second cleaning since then and honored my Angie's list coupon for a discount on the second cleaning. I plan to continue utilizing their service on a regular basis.

A gentleman came the day after I called to give me an estimate, and I scheduled a whole house cleaning within the same week. Two people came, on time, and did a very professional job, including inside windows. I was conpletely satisfied, and have scheduled a monthly house cleaning with this company.

They were on time and worked for five solid hours.

We have been using Maid Bright for a few times after signing up for their bi-weekly service. I am quite happy with their service, the maids have done a great job and our house is very clean afterwards. The owner is very responsive. We used another service before, although they were cheaper, I don't think they did as great a job as Maid Bright.

A team of 2 cleaners (same each time so far) arrive on time every other week and clean the entire house very professionally. They bring their own cleaning equipment and supplies, and are trained to clean very thoroughly. The co. pays social security, etc so no need to submit with taxes. Excellent service, overall!

The owner came out to check the property and gave me a written estimate-- in addition to the standard list of cleaning services, we agreed on a few additions (e.g. cleaning exterior doors) and he gave me the date, told me they would call the day ahead with a narrow time frame. Sure enough, they called as promised and gave me a one-hour window-- I went to the house and the crew of two cleaners showed up right on time and went right to work-- took them about 2 1/2 hours for the complete job, they did a thorough and very professional job, worked without supervision and l;eft the place looking great, including removing all trash, I will definitely use them again for cleaning at my properties.
