Description of Work: They were extremely friendly and extremely flexible in a chaotic move-in day environment and patiently accepted each request I had. They are now my "go to" team for the next round of changes to be made. John found a ceiling fan was not installed correctly and recommended I go with the correct way vs going with the easy way that was already in place. I have full confidence in their work!

Description of Work: Ran speaker cable from first floor to crawl space to back patio. After finishing asked if there was anything else they could do since already into 2nd hour (per hour charge). Hung outdoor speakers and connected speaker wire for practically free (since already paying for 2nd hour).

Description of Work: They took down a crystal chandelier at a house we were selling and moved it to our new house. Then, they took the large, brass chandelier from the new house and hung it at the house we were putting on the market. It was definitely two jobs. I don't remember the cost, but I want to say it was about $225. That, however, is a guess.

 + 1 moreBill and John Webb have been providing electrical service for my parents for many years, so when I purchased a home and moved back to Richmond, I knew who to call. So far I have dealt with only John. He is very professional, thoroughly cleans up after the job, and promptly returns phone calls. I am very pleased with the work John completed prior to our move-in date. The exhaust fan units for the bathrooms are incredibly quiet and efficient. John will continue to provide electrical service as we update the house to meet our needs in the near and distant future. I would and will recommend Webb Electrical Company to anyone who asks.
Description of Work: John furnished, wired, vented, and installed exhaust fans with light units in 2 bathrooms where none existed. He wired for and installed 4 ceiling electrical boxes in 4 bedrooms in preparation for his future installation of ceiling fan/light fixtures. John also rewired 5 bedroom light switches so that none of the outlets were dependent on a wall switch and split the wiring in those wall switch boxes so that the ceiling light and fan could be operated independently. John also troubleshooted a couple existing wall switch boxes and removed existing breakfast room hanging, replacing it with a temporary fixture until the arrival from the move of our hanging light fixture.

 + -1 moreThe problems turned out to be unrelated. The kitchen outlet was bad and replaced without delay. The back porch fan was more of a mystery. Mr. Webb discovered that the GFI outlet on the front stoop had gone bad, but when that was replaced the fan still did not work. After much detective work he figured out the circuit had a loose wire in the downstairs powder room. After reattaching the wires, we were back in business. Very professional, very thorough, extremely competent.
Description of Work: After a bad storm the ceiling fan in the screen porch would not work and and GFI outlet in the kitchen would not reset.
