Very nice person Brendan showed up within the timeframe specified with company truck and "Duct Clean 1974" shirt, very polite and informative of what would happen. My dryer vent hasn't been cleaned out in years, he explained that the way my vent was set up, it was probably the best it could be (no kinks or twists) and then went to work. He showed me some of the lint at the end, how some of it was starting to get condensed and I am grateful I had this done when I did. I was very pleased with the work done and the professionalism and friendliness!

We still had issues with the check vent light after they left but he came back and really took the time to see if he could figure out the issue and re-did the job just to make sure everything was right. Was really helpful and clearly took pride in his work.

The technician arrived and said he cleaned the dryer vent. It had been over a year since it was last cleaned so we were surprised when the technician told us that there was little or no lint in the vent. Today (early March) we found out that the vent was completely clogged and the dryer would not work because of the clog. I called the company and was told that their warranty is only good for three months and they could not come to our house and clean the vent until next week (5 days). I will not use this company again. The March 7, 2016 response from the company is false. First, the dryer vent was cleaned by this company on October 24, 2015 as noted in my review. Therefore, approximately four months after the dryer vent was "cleaned" by this company it was completely clogged. Next, because I informed the company that they cleaned the dryer vent on October 24, 2015, and I have the payment proof to verify this, they never said anything about it needing to be cleaned more frequently. Next, when I contacted the company I stated we would like them to come over and evaluate the problem as soon as possible, to which they responded the soonest they could do so was five days from that day. Finally, they never offered to come over the next day and inspect for free. In fact, I called them twice requesting they come over sooner than five days before hiring a different company to clean the vent. That is the reason for the prior review, and the false statements in your response are the reason for this review.

Excellent! We were extremely pleased with Brendan's punctuality and professionalism. We had a lot of questions about our air ducts and he patiently answered all of them. He did a great job cleaning out the ducts and vents and explaining everything he was doing and giving his honest recommendations on further management. We had some other issues related to our ducts and he gave us great advice on how to move forward. Will definitely be using this company in the future for all of our air duct needs!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a dryer vent cleaning and inspection. I scheduled the service through the online systerm. We originally scheduled the service for February 15, 2016 and had to reschedule for February 18, 2016 because of the snow storm. Brendan (who is one of the owners) arrived promptly at the beginning of the scheduled service window. He cleaned the dryer vent and was able to replace the damaged parts of the old vent with the existing vent because there was so much of it. He had to remove the animal guard to do the cleaning and replaced it with newer screws (for no extra charge) so that it would not impede the trap door in the vent. Brendan was polite and personable. He did a great job with my service. I will definitely use this company again.

In the past I'd been told by companies that it would cost an outrageous additional fee because my dryer vent is at the top of my 3.5 level townhouse and they would need a long ladder and extra staff to hold it. However, this company used a process that cleans from the dryer point out rather than vacuuming from the outside into the duct. He was also able to access the vent to install the cover through a bedroom window just below it. It was effective and reasonably priced. I was pleased with the result and will use them again when the vent needs to be cleaned!

I couldn't be happier with the service today. I bought an Angie's List deal for $85 dryer vent cleaning. I was late receiving the message about scheduling (didn't receive the message until after close of business on Friday, my fault, they wanted to schedule Monday 1-3pm) - I responded that it it was fine, but expected to be bumped. Sure enough, 1pm on the dot the service man shows up. Most reviews say this service takes about 15 minutes. My house is an architectural nightmare and the vent goes through through the ceiling between the 1st/2nd floor all the way across the house (instead of right out of the exterior wall where the laundry room is.) The service took nearly 2 hours. A bird nest was found in my vent so I had a guard installed for an additional $25. The tech was exceptionally clean, friendly, and informative.

I cancelled my order because the contractor is too far away from my home. However, they are very responsive and professional. I was able to communicate with them and cancel my order without a problem.

Arrived about 10 minutes before scheduled time, thoroughly cleaned the inside of the dryer and the outside air duct. Did and EXCELLENT job! Brandon was very professional, answered all my questions, and cleaned around the dryer area. I would definitely use this company again!

Great service, good suggestions, open communication with me from beginning to end. He bent the vents slightly when putting his equipment through the slats, and there was a fine layer of dust (grainy more like sand) on everything for the next two days, which I suppose is normal from the airing out of all the vents. Other than that, all was wonderful!

The man that came out did absolutely nothing. He was unprofessional and seemed to be scared of my fireplace. He told me he couldn't do anything because he was afraid to pull the chute for my fireplace. Because of that, he said he wasn't able to do the chimney sweep. It doesn't make any sense to be in that type of business if you can't even figure out how to work around a fireplace. I had to hire another company and they were able to do the chimney sweep with no problems.

Brendan, my service provider, was great. Very professional, easy to deal with, friendly, and solutions-oriented when we realized that access to the vent wasn't going to be as easy as we'd hoped. We covered basic dryer maintenance and management, and he provided tips and tricks for what to look for as new homeowners. I really enjoyed dealing with him and would happily work with him again. The office was another story. They weren't terribly responsive, didn't update me when the appointment was going to happen well outside of the agreed upon window, and were rather rude when I called several times trying to figure out what was going on. It all worked out well because Brendan was so easy to deal with, but future buyers should know that punctuality and responsiveness may be a little lacking.

This was an $85 big deal purchase. Basically scheduling was difficult with them. They did not get in touch in a timely manner. I had to kind of hunt them down and give them some options of dates that worked for me. they never really got back to me; someone just showed up at my house one day. It was on one of the days that I had put down as a potentially good time. The guy did the cleaning but he only did it from the outside. I did not realize that the deal did not include the cleaning of the dryer on the inside as well. It did not really do that much and I felt I was taken advantage of. The guy was nice, courteous and did what he was supposed to do, but scheduling was difficult and I didn't really feel like it was a great service for the price which I think should say what really is included and whether it is two different services. It took more time than it was supposed to for them to contact me. It was about two weeks later after I bought the deal. Other than the scheduling issue he was okay.

The tech called before the appointment to let me know he was on the way. He arrived on time and was neat and professional. He explained what he was going to do and why and quickly and efficiently performed the services. I had to reschedule a couple times, as did the vendor. In each instance the communication was professional and complete. These guys were excellent.

Arrived on time performed service within 15 minutes and departed.
