They looked at it, but they didn't do anything. I wasn't here at all when they came. I did not receive a price from them. Had I been here I would have been able to talk to them more to find out prices and availability, but I was out of town. They came out a little while after I bought the deal.

The Home Doctor did a really good job from beginning to end. Very satisfied with this product. The crew that came to our home, were very respectful and picked up and cleaned up all refuse prior to leaving. They also made sure that we understood the product & how best to use it. We expected a phone call the day before installation and that did not happen. The initial date for measurements was postponed due to a scheduling issue. This meant I had to juggle my work schedule to meet their expectations. Good product, good workers, please clean up the customer service piece of the job.

The installers did their job in a very professional manner, and their expertise and abilities were very obvious. Phillip is very professional, as is Alex who works hard to ensure that what Phillip promises, gets accomplished.. We have had them back twice for minor adjustments, and they stood by their work without question. We are very impressed with this company.

My experience with ?The Doctor Home? was a bad one from the beginning. It all started with the vendor. When we make the contract to do the siding and the roof, it was make clear that the colors had to be the same or at least the most identical color. When they showed us the siding colors, again we told them about the colors, as the one they show us it was darker. The man said that the reason was that had faded by years of sun. Then he followed with the gutters and gave us two options (which he thought they were the same or similar color) and we chose one of the two options. Only two men came to do the job, so it took double the time that they had promised. When they finished with that work section, we saw that the gutters were very different and the HOA didn?t approve them, so we had to pay again to install the second option. For the roof they came with several men to do the job. They threw all the old materials to our new garden that had set a few days before (grass and flower beds) and broke everything. When we made the claim, the person in charge of the work said it was the only way they could do it and the only way to recognize the damage was a discount of 100 dollars and a small bag of seed. With that amount I could only replace a large plant and I had to pay for the rest of the flowers . For all the above, I think it was a big mistake to have chosen that company.

Installers were late due to unusually high traffic. They did good work but it was necessary to return the next day due to a missing part (namely the rollers) Overall pleased with the job done but wish the second visit wasn't needed.

Phillip and John were polite and professional. After receiving the estimate, we decided not to go forward with their company, simply because we are not in the market to replace all of the gutters. Their products seem to be in high quality and the guys seem to be passionate with what they do and provide to the customers.

I had 3 different companies come to my house to give me an estimate. Of the three, the visit from Home Doctor was the least enjoyable. The salesman was by far the most pushy and HAD to show me all the "special" features even when I said I didn't want to see them. I had to fill out a survey about the salesman with him sitting right there, and then he made a comment when I didn't give him a 10. Also, their initial estimate was much higher than the others. In spite of all this, I am happy I chose them. The owner, Phillip, was very responsive and willing to work with me on a variety of things. He seemed a little young, greedy, and not the most professional, but in the end he gave me a good price and did everything he said he would do. I ended up with mid-grade windows, the Berkshire Elite. The quality is not what I hoped, but probably what I should have expected for the price. The outside frames are thicker than I expected as well. But overall, they look amazing if not inspected too closely. The sliding door takes more muscle to move than my last door (a Pella door from the 1980s), but it is extremely smooth and quiet. The installation team (Alex?) was very professional, kind, and detail-oriented. The windows were installed on the early end of the 4-6 week estimate, which was nice. In the end, I got what I wanted and I have no real complaints about the whole process, just a few nits. If I could do it all over again, I'd do the same thing.

This was a great, smooth experience. The contractor was very responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable. The crew was punctual, efficient, and mindful of my belongings and the house. All in all, I would be more than happy to use them again!

The owner is very conscientious and concerned about his customer's satisfaction. I originally ordered the job in October 2015. The crew came back out a few weeks later to measure the door and order the materials. I did not hear anything further until I called the owner looking for a date when the work would begin. He came out to review the job again and address my concerns about the look of the front door due to homeowner association requirements and assured me the door would meet my expectations. He was right. When the door was finally custom built and installed, it looked fantastic. The job was very carefully completed and makes my front entrance look great. The rest of the repairs did not get done until January. Not sure what the delay was but the owner was apologetic and explained growing pains. Communication was an issue but was eventually cleared up. I understand the owner has made some significant changes to his business to ensure his customer's get a quality job with minimal confusion and timely communication. I would recommend using them again - as long as the customer is willing to push the communication issue.

Had a consultant come by and explain the materials they would use. He also gave a history of the company and their philosophy. We then proceeded to the attic where he explained how it would be installed. He gave us a quote, we decided to have it done, gave him a check for half the amount, set a date and he left. There was an emergency visit to the hospital for my husband, and they graciously rescheduled this initial visit. On the date of installation I was nervous from reading what could possibly go wrong, from information on the internet. I went over my concerns with one of the men and he listened and explained to me that they were aware of potential problems and explained how they install it taking them into account. Then they went to work and finished in about an hour and a half. After they left everything was as clean as when they came and had done what we had asked them to do in a professional and efficient manner. Would definitely recommend them!

Men from Attic Insulation arrived early which was very good, but was impatient for someone to answer the door immediately so they continuously rang the door bell until I got to the door. Besides that, they were professional, quick and cleaned up after work.

It didn't go well. But, part of it was my fault because I changed my mind about the product. After I bought the deal, we did a little bit more research on the actual manufacturer that makes them and we just couldn't get comfortable with it. It was too late to cancel because they had already done some work on it. So, basically I've had to send them a check and pay them $3500, for something that I'm not getting. Again, I'm not satisfied with it. But, it's not entirely his fault because I did buy the deal and instruct him to begin the process of ordering them. Again, it's not his fault that I'm not satisfied with the quality of work that gets put into it. But, I wasn't totally happy with the experience. I bought one deal for $1500 and then I had two doors to do. So, I think all in all, it was going to cost $5000 to get the two doors installed. He had already gone down the road of ordering them. He hasn't charged me the installation fee, of course. But, the cost of the two doors ultimately, with some upgrades that we did, was $3500. I probably should have done more research before I bought the deal and found out who the manufacturer was of the product. My husband said the worker was the nicest person he had ever met.

He was very polite and professional and very clear when he explained it. He was also very apologetic that he could not perform the service. He explained to me what I needed and why.

It was ok, however the door is smaller than I thought it would be and there are already signs of rust speckled on the white metal door frame.

The were quite eager to make the initial appointment; unfortunately, not so eager to keep it. It's a shame because they seem to do good work, but wasting almost an hour of my time before getting started is a deal breaker for me. If a company does things like this before they have your business, it's hard to feel confident about what they will do once they get their money.

Sent a large crew on, probably , the hottest day of the year. They started at 7:30 and finished 12 hours later. They only stopped for lunch and water breaks. The roof looks terrific. The owner came by today to check on things. All looked good. The clean-up was great. In a few weeks a third party will come out to check the work. If all is well, the warranty will be issued.

Install went really smoothly though it was tough to find a date that worked. The provider also customized the door for me and just tacked the change cost onto the coupon'd deal. I definitely appreciated that. I plan to use them again.

I have never been more pleased with a contractor than I was yesterday when Carlos arrived to install my new sliding glass door. The crew arrived on time and were curteous and friendly. The work was done in about 3 hours. They put down drop clothes to catch anything, when they left I didn't even need to vacuum the area. They installed new woodwork around the doors and calked all of the exposed seems. They removed the old door so that we were not tasked with trying to get it hauled away. The door took a while to be delivered because it was a custome size and made to fit the opening that we had. I would definately use The Home Doctor again if and when I need more windows installed.

It did not go well and due to poor customer service, I decided to cancel the order completely. The problem centered around one individual's lack of respect for me as a customer. Phillip seemed to be the main point of contact at The Home Doctor. Phillip was pleasant during the initial phone call however this was not to occur during our second call and beyond. He assumed that I was aware of the process involved when installing a sliding glass door (I.e. Timeline, delivery, the install, etc.). I had questions and Phillip had little patience. All came "to a head" during our conversation had after a young man came to my home to measure on a Saturday morning. I called Phillip the following Thursday to seek an estimate for a transient window replacement. Phillip began to escalate his voice, in a frustrated tone he proceeded to inform me that he had already explained the process of the sliding glass install and he questioned why I was calling again. When I explained that I called for an estimate, he told me that I should have stated the purpose of the call up front. At this point, I was angry and done. Phillip's demeanor, tone and disrespect was appalling. He suggested that I request a refund and that is exactly what I did. I can not speak to The Home Doctor's capability in delivering and installing the product however I would not recommend them due to poor customer service which is equally important. I do not and will never tolerate anyone speaking to me with such disrespect...period!!!

I am updating an earlier negative review I gave The Home Doctor. It turns out the problem was entirely related to Angie's List and not The Home Doctor. We ended up contracting with The Home Doctor completely outside of Angie's List and everything went very well. Phillip, the principal in The Home Doctor was available for the many questions I had, and the price he provided was more than competitive. The crew was very professional, on time, and as far as I can tell, did a great job installing our replacement shingles, ridge vent, flashing, new gutters and downspouts. They even had to replace the plywood underlay of the house roof, which I think went very well. Benjamin the crew chief, was very detailed in the explanation as to why the plywood needed replacing. The cleanup was superlative in so far as I haven't found a stray roof nail since they left during the first week of June 2015. I have no hesitation in recommending The House Doctor if you need a roof replacement.

Phillip, Mike, and Alex were awesome. They were always punctual, professional, and provided excellent reconditions and advice. We had to comply with our Homeowners' Association Rules to include submitting a proposal to the board and confirming to the existing design. They worked with us to clear things with the Board and then were easy to deal with to ensure we could get the install competed in a manner that didn't cause friction with our neighbors. And, the windows are great!

The Home Doctor was fine. They gave great service. They were in and out very thorough. They were pretty quick and efficient the way they handled it you know bringing the insulation in and then installing it and then installing it. They put down protective barrier everywhere. They were all suited up. They weren't going to get anything dirty in my home, my hallway, my stairs. They arrived on time. They were very timely. They were very proficient.

They did a fantastic job. They dropped the materials off the morning they were supposed to at exactly the time they had scheduled to drop them off. The following day they were on site at 7:30 am and finished the job by 4:30pm. We did however have to ask them to come back and sweep again for debris of which they did so quickly the very next day. Phil, the owner, was attentive to the job. He brought the price down substantially as his business is up and coming. We have noticed a huge difference in our heating/air bill and the efficiency of the heating and air throughout the house.
