Description of Work: I would emphasize that I am extremely well-satisfied with the "happy ending" this story NOW has because the whole organization seemed to -- finally -- get on board and deal with my problems. So A+ rating with quality etc. The problems had to do with poor installation of a new door (the interior wall of our hallway was torn apart literally: wall board & paint damage). I was told that this damage was mu responsibility to fix. Then the lock mechanism wouldn't work with keys. Then the design of the door makes locking yourself out dangereously easy. I finally fixed the damaged wall at my expense, and, after some months, some very nice guys came out and tried to fix the lock. (They ultimately replaced it.) The design of the door I must live with. This, unfortunately, was about a 6 month process, a month or so of which was my fault as I was out of the country. It's my understanding that this franchise is under new management, and they have improved mightily over the previous administration.

Description of Work: Renewal by Anderson installed 7 windows for me. I had them replace two doors and and 3 additional windows on a different purchase. The sales rep is excellent. The service staff are awesome and did a great job. From the scheduler to the install techs. I encountered a problem with one of the windows and the company fixed it immediately. I requested and received a call from the President who was apologetic and awesome. Their windows are more expensive but I wanted a great product and the service, I felt was worth the extra cost.

Description of Work: Still waiting for the next phase of installation of windows. Appear to be mostly responsive. In first phase, there was an infestation of little bugs all over the windows installed (likely from storage facility). They refused to take responsibility and even tried to deny the bugs (very small gnat like creatures) came from their windows. But only time ever seen in house was after window installation. Major reason for the "B" rating.

Description of Work: Replaced a patio door. They know what they are doing and did a great job. The process they use for the sale, engineering visit, and installation are outstanding and you can tell well excercised. I have complete confidence in Renewal by Anderson. | |I have 3 doors leading to my deck which are 26 years old. Two are Anderson and one was an Atrium hinged door. The Atrium door had rotten wood at the bottom corners. The 26 year old Anderson Sliding doors are still in great shape and that is why I selected Anderson for the replacement.

Description of Work: Excellent product; a bit pricey, even with a nice discount. Highly professional installation experience -- timely, excellent fit of all the installed products, clean and neat removal and clean pick-up at the conclusion of the project.

Description of Work: Very pushy and 3x the cost of other providers. They also would not stop calling even after I had informed them I had already had an installation done.

Description of Work: They replaced a strip of weather stripping on one side of a sliding glass door they installed about three years ago. I was very happy with the original installation which included four windows as well as the sliding glass door.

Description of Work: Renewal by Anderson (Merrifield VA) replaced approximately 60 windows, some custom, and two custom sets of French doors. It was an expensive project but they were priced the same as Marvin and Pella, I just preferred the windows. I am extremely pleased with the windows and the back up service I have had. Only one window presented an installation problem and it was a bad one. The window was fixed ,repaired, re-set multiple times and ultimately replaced with no questions asked. This provider took full responsibility for the problem and kept at it until the problem was solved. VERY highly recommended. The initial window replacement may be as long as eight years ago. I write this review many years after both rounds of window replacement, remaining unsure of the dates but very happy with the windows.

Description of Work: replaced all 24 windows and two doors, including a front door with transom and side windows. Glass used was IR and UV reflective as we had large watercolor paintings on the walls (at a somewhat increased cost)

Description of Work: The quality of the windows and the install was top-notch!! The sales pitch and service from the sales person was lacking.
