Description of Work: We had 2 French doors installed replacing an old French door and a sliding glass door. Though a problem related to damage due to water was found on the old French doors the installers were experienced and prepared to fix it. A supervisor came right away to verify the problem, agree with the repairs needed and had a contract for that specific repair ready for our signature. No time was wasted and both doors installed in one day. It was close to Thanksgiving and the weather was cool so expediency was important.

Description of Work: They removed a large picture window that was cracked and replaced it with a new window. We are very pleased.

Description of Work: Replaced 7 windows, in historical district of Capitol Hill. Work sanctioned by L'Enfant Trust. They did the windows in 18 condos. Great service.

Description of Work: Replaced several 70s-era windows, and replaced three adjacent windows with a bay window. While the bay window installation meant putting a big whole in the side of our house, it was done quickly. All work was completed on time and as contracted. We're very pleased with the finished product.

Description of Work: 9 windows in a Victorian DC Row house. Price was high, even with limited to no options; standard hardware, different interior/exterior color. One window was at the maximum width Andersen Renewal makes. All other were med/large. 7/9 double hung. 2/9 full frame replacements. | |Sales process was probably the least positive aspect, pricing was very aggressive and salesman was not always sufficiently responsive. | |However the installation was exceedingly professional, timely, and clean. I am very pleased with the final outcome, and while I would prefer to pay <$10K the quality of the installation justifies the cost for me.

Description of Work: they are way too expensive. They are not open about the quality of windows that they are using. The windows are not Anderson but Renewal. there are anderson windows in the market for less money.

Description of Work: They did an exceptional job of removing my old windows and installing new Renewal By Anderson replacement windows. I had Double Hung windows replaced, and a couple bay windows were replaced with casement windows, and a sliding glass door was replaced. This work was done back in 2010 or so, and the cost was approximately $1000 per window. However, there may have been a promotion going on at the time, so the average cost per window would'e been slightly less.

Description of Work: Previously they installed 17 replacement windows in on day and they are TERRIFIC. Most recently they installed French doors from our back porch to the patio and they are also fantastic, perfectly hung and air-tight.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 entry doors and approx 13 standard Windows and one picture window. Very satisfied - crew showed up on time, completed install and cleaned up afterwards in a one day install. No issues yet with the product. It is a little expensive but comparable or a little better than the other companies quotes for similar products.

Description of Work: They installed replacement windows for the entire house. Beautiful product. We are very happy with the windows. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. One drawback was that we live on a busy highway, and the replacement windows allowed more noise into the home. We had to put up storm windows, which Anderson also installed, to mitigate the noise.
