As homeowners who recently underwent a large renovation, Phoenix Home Services is nothing short of impressive. In only 30 days, Phoenix renovated and transformed our entire first floor including the living room, kitchen, and family room into a stunning, spacious, and comfortable living space. It is like living in a completely new home and we are absolutely in love with the results. Phoenix employs professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and efficient craftsman who wouldn’t quit the job until it is was completed to our satisfaction. Every space was made functional, every gap made flush, and every screw glued and fashioned tightly, resulting in an esthetically pleasing home revival. There were hiccups along the way, as expected, including supply chain and fit/finish issues; yet, none of these glitches had anything to do with Phoenix themselves, their work ethic, craftsmanship, or speed and efficiency. Phoenix went out of their way to make right those issues when then arose.

Clint and his team did an outstanding job building a new brick stoop for our front door, a portico on top of that, and replacing our front door. This is the second major project I have used Phoenix Home Services for and they do a great job at managing large/complex projects and keeping you up-to-date. The materials they use are all high quality as well. I highly recommend them and they have a great emphasis on quality and customer service.

Phoenix was excellent for my full bath remodel. They were a little more expensive than some of the other quotes I got, but absolutely worth it. The initial proposal and design provided was very well done, including 3D renders, vertical diagram, required materials list, detailed scope of work, and contract agreement. All of the work went smoothly, completing in the original provided timeline, passing inspections, and looking great at the end. Overall, Phoenix possesses some of the most important characteristics of a great contractor. We hired PHS for a new deck project. From the initial sales meeting to final inspection/closeout, PHS did an amazing job. Clint was friendly, informative and a pleasure to work with. He clearly communicated timelines, costs, etc. During the project, he stopped by regularly to ensure the work was on track and to our liking. When we had permit delays, he was on top of everything, constantly keeping us informed. Les and his build team worked quickly and with the utmost detail. Their collective years of experience is reflected in the quality of craftsmanship. The deck turned out better than we could have imagined. From the three competing bids we received for this project, PHS was not the cheapest, but as they say - you get what you pay for. We'll be hiring PHS for our future projects, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work with exceptional customer service. Phoenix did a great job turning our dark and dingy basement into a bright clean space that gives us much needed room; it is almost literally a night and day difference. At each point they communicated clearly about status, made suggestions that fit our needs and responded to our questions whether by text, email, or phone. They designed and built a fantastic bathroom, improved the exterior access, and installed an exterior drain. Everyone from design to build to billing was professional, helpful, and courteous.

Highly, highly recommend the great team at Phoenix. From the initial point of contact with Clint, we felt that the Phoenix team performed responsively, with a high level of integrity and knowledge and were able to articulate options, trade-offs, and work within budget. We had a small flagstone patio that we extended to the width of the house, switching to silver travertine after an enthusiastic discussion with Clint (with pictures) that kept us suprisingly under budget and informed about how it would look. In short: absolutely beautiful. The team cares about details: such as the angle at which the water is steered away from the house in a downpour, and the french drain, which helps foundationally even if most guests wouldn't even notice this. It's a tremendous benefit to the home. The project turned out WAY BETTER than we originally planned. Huge gratitude to the team - from signing to finish the project took less than two weeks. I've had people come over and comment on the craftsmanship and beauty, saying whoever did this knew what they were doing.

Phoenix did a complete remodel of my seriously outdated kitchen. After months of planning, it went from really sad circa 1970’s to amazing modern bright in about 6 weeks from demo to final inspection. The work crews arrived on time every day and were total professionals. Everyone was so nice and didn’t mind explaining things to me and offering really helpful suggestions. Each week I got a schedule of upcoming work to be completed. I did have extra expenses over the original contract for subfloors and electric, but with a 60+ year old house, these things are to be expected. In the end I have a beautiful kitchen that is totally up to code and will last for many more years. I will definitely consider Phoenix for any future remodeling.

Bottom Line Up Front: We are very happy with the outcome. It took a couple extra steps to get there, but I measure the value of a company not only by the quality of their work, but their honesty, integrity, and how they handle situations when they go wrong. A handful of things need to get corrected and added toward the end of the project, and Clint and the gang worked with us to get a great outcome. Details: We have a 14'x30' simple wood deck removed from the back of our house and a similar area of concrete patio installed with half made into a covered and screened porch. Clint was a great designer and project lead. He gave us great design advice, came up with a pleasing design, and absolutely stood by making sure all our requirements were met. One of the problems we had toward the end came from Clint NOT trying to upsell us something (fixing all the siding above the porch area rather than just what was needed to install the porch - in retrospect the siding was installed incorrectly many years ago, and Clint regretted not advising us to just fix all of it.). Construction team: All four teams - Concrete/Masonry, Carpentry, Electrical, Paint - were timely, neat, flexible, and friendly. I was able to chat with the lead easy as needed to check on progress and get clarification as needed. Corrections at the end: During the final walk-thru, there were a handful of things we pointed out, and several that Clint identified that we missed. All where quickly rectified. After the project was complete, we discovered that the porch roof leaked during a rainstorm. Clint immediately sent the team out, and they determined (I had suspected this) my 19-year old siding was the culprit. At a very reasonable addendum, they quickly rectified the problem. I have now enjoyed my wonderful, leak-free porch in several rain storms since that time. One truth for anyone doing a project like this - your yard will be trashed. That is simply unavoidable. Landscaping was not part of the contract, and I knew this - BECAUSE I READ THE FINE PRINT. READ THE FINE PRINT. It will make you and your contractor both happier. Know what you are and are not buying. This is true for any contractor. The Phoenix crew did clean up the year, spread seed, and professionally clean the project. I would definitely consider this company for future projects.

This is the second project we have hired Phoenix Homes Services (PHS) for, the first was a complete remodel of our bathroom which we still love. This time we worked with them to convert our garage to a brand-new room with full bath, laundry closet, and bonus shelving. The timeline for the project from start to finish has been about 6 months. In June we did an initial walk through with one of the principals to discuss options. Having worked on many homes in our neighborhood and in the area, he is well versed on some of the challenges that occur with remodeling older homes. As part of the walk through he explained areas that may require extra attention like electrical and foundations. This helped set expectations for the project and gave us information to use to set up a contingency fund as a backup plan. Once a general concept was agreed upon, we established the contract and began work on the design. The initial design from the designer really highlighted the possibility of the space. He patiently worked with us to adjust it so it perfectly fit our needs. Communication was good as they worked the permit process, and we got lucky that construction could start a couple of weeks earlier than planned (not guaranteed by PHS, it was truly luck). Demolition work can be loud and chaotic. Since we were living and working from home during this process. PHS made sure the site was as orderly a possible and did what they could to accommodate our meeting schedules. We also received assistance with picking finishes and items for the space. As warned, issues were identified with the electrical and foundation. Because of the initial prep discussion, we were prepared and able to work with PHS on a solution that brought everything up to code and would support the room. We were provided weekly email updates on the status of the project and the crew showed up on time every day. Each step of the project was explained, and recommendations were presented so we could make the decision that was best for us. Everyone we worked with was kind and patient, which is so important when involved in something that can create so much anxiety. Our project was completed within the timeline provided. One of the nicest surprises was with the bonus shelving, which I just asked to be built. Because PHS focuses on the details, the shelving was solidly built and painted. I was able to begin using it while the rest of the project was completed. Overall, we are ecstatic with the results; everyone has expressed how lovely it is. The process was well managed, and we would definitely work with them on any future renovations we need.

Replaced tub with walk-in shower, added vent fan, new lighting and fixtures all went very smoothly. Finish work is amazing. Crew lead by Davis ensured project was done correctly. Schedule had a half day for punch list items. Very happy with final product.

Phoenix Home Services did a beautiful job remodeling our 1950s bathroom. Steve helped us make cost effective design decisions. Deyvis, as the on-site lead, did a great job creating a gorgeous room. He checked in periodically to ensure we were happy with their progress and made a few adjustments upon my request. We will gladly use Phoenix Home Services again! They provide quality work at a reasonable price.

Phoenix did an outstanding job with all the projects they were hired for. We appreciated the weekly communications they sent us detailing what work will be done each day. Both the contractors and Phoenix personnel were very professional and answered any questions we had. We especially loved working with Steve again as this is the third time we have reached out to Phoenix with work requests. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable on an all aspects of the project. Phoenix Home Services is fantastic!!! They did an efficient, professional job on all of our projects, which include a bathroom remodel, creation of a window with a surrounding built-in bookcase, repair of a drainage issue in our backyard involving masonry work, and installation of insulation in our attic. They may not be the cheapest in town, but the quality of their work is remarkable and they did not cut any corners. They also managed to finish ahead of schedule, which was very important to us and almost unheard of in this industry. Clint and his team were very responsive and regularly kept us in the loop. We would absolutely use them again if/when we have more projects in the future and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for top notch work.

We have used Phoenix Home Services for five projects in the past fourteen months. 1) New large deck with screened in porch, travertine walkways and steps 3) master bathroom remodel, 4) large outdoor shed installation with concrete pad, and 5) to convert a storage area in the basement to a fifth bedroom. They are excellent at design, very responsive, work quickly and professionally and priced fairly. In every instance, they completed the job ahead of schedule with minimal disruption. We had one warranty issue and they fixed that immediately without complaint, that’s really a key in whom you select, do they stand behind their work? At this point, they are like family to us and we don’t even consider other contractors. Clint does excellent designs, listen to what he says, because he calls it right.

We found this so helpful and important for our own planning. The craftsmanship and materials are topnotch. Clint, Steve, Rudy, and the crew cared so much for maintaining a level of excellence. We are so happy with the final results and highly recommend their services.

The porch came out excellent. They did a great job helping us to determine the look and the build we were looking for. The team that did the build was on schedule and paid attention to the small details which lead to an outstanding final product. Could not be happier.

Weekly schedules helped us understand what to expect and when, and frequent visits by management to check in with us made feel well looked after.

Project updates were preemptive and clear, and we were never blindsided by unexpected delays or costs.

We contracted Phoenix Home Services to build a screened in porch in our backyard with infratech heaters, and they did an outstanding job. We were kept up-to-date throughout the project and they were also quick to answer all of our questions. The crew was very nice and it was easy to see that the team cares about the quality of their work. We will be reaching back out to Phoenix for future projects.

Working with Phoenix Home Services for our home was a fantabulous experience from start to finish. Beginning with the initial brainstorm ideas on how to fix drainage issues with our home, to the concept sketches, to the estimated costs and timeline, and ending with the completed project; Steve, Clint, and team, were courteous, honest, and professional. Everything was to the initial timeline and scope except for the additions we threw in and the one additional cost of plywood that had to be replaced once the roof shingles were removed. We highly recommend them for any work you are planning for your home.

Phoenix Home Services recently finished our screened in porch and back patio and we are very happy with the final results. Clint was a huge help in the design phase, HOA approvals and County Permits. The finished project was completed within the estimated budget and the team did a great job cleaning the space at the end of the project.
