Description of Work: Microcenter is a great place to buy equipment and parts. If you are in a jam and need your computer fixed in hurry, though, it is not the right place to go. I had a dying graphics card on my computer and I needed to get it fixed. It took the better part of a week to identify the problem and another 4 days to fix it, which is a REALLY long time when you need your computer. The technician knew how to resolve the issue, when I spoke to him, but it is very hard to get communication from Microcenter about the status of your equipment. They won't call you with information and updates. You have to check their website for status, but that information is not kept up to date and you have to call in and hunt them down to get status. If you need your computer fixed in a hurry, go somewhere else. If time is not an issue for you, they do good work and are knowledgable, but they don't seem to be in a great big hurry.
