I like that when you need a specialist, you can get them right away. They have great communication between doctors since everything goes on their shared computer system. Even the pharmacist has access to your medications. You don't feel like you've fallen through the cracks. I typically wait 10 minutes to be seen when I arrive for my appointment.

They're okay. They're not as convenient as I had hoped. Overall, I think it's good. They're spread out here. They don't have their own hospital facilities. You have to use a hospital that's farther away and inconvenient. The primary care physicians are close by but the specialists aren't. You can get care, but it's not what I was used to before with them. But care, overall, is good. It just isn't a one-stop medical facility. In some offices, you don't have to wait for your appointment, but in other offices, you do.

They have hospital facilities but they're not a hospital. We love everything about them. They're marvelous. They are a full service organization and they have the most phenomenal electronic record system that interacts with patients. I can access my health records online. It's great.

They are doing us a pretty good job. The only criticism I have right now, is that last year they decided to change their hospitals with which they are associated, which included the Inova Fairfax Hospitals. So they are no longer part of their network and we have been using Inova for very long. Except for this one thing, my experience with them is excellent. Fortunately we have not yet needed a hospital. We get treated very well, both my wife and I. We have different physicians, but they have all treated us very well. Sometimes you have to wait too long to get an answer on the phone.

I am not impressed with Kaiser. They claim that they make the health care process easier by having all providers in one building and they are working towards being paperless and electronic, but I did not find their system to be helpful. Whenever, I logged into my Kaiser account, it never remembered my password, so I often had to reset it. When I did a search of prescriptions, their online account told a prescription was covered, but later I found it was not. They send a lot of documents in the mail, but most of it is generic literature. When I went in for a flu shot, they made me go to multiple rooms to get a flu shot. One was for filling out paperwork, two was for waiting and the third was for receiving the flu shot. Then, afterwards, they made me wait 15 mins to make sure I didnt suffer any side effects. I found this process to be wasteful. After of all this, when I had my doctors appointment, it was only scheduled for 10 minutes. I switched to another medical insurance provider, they have a lower premium and I am not restricted to doctors.

We're very happy with them. I like that they are very well organized and that lots of stuff are done online, and I like the doctors. We decided to use them because my wife has it for her work. We chose this over the other ones because they don't have any payments other than copayments.

My family goes there and we like them. We've been with them forever and they were very good. I feel like a get a very good care from them, you can see doctors 24/7, there's always somebody to see. If they can't treat what problem you have if you don't have specialist, they will pay for you to go to a specialist. You always get good care. I've been with them for 20 years and I have options for other health care but my main option is to stay with Kaiser. They're very good with communication, you can contact them with the computers all the time.

$206
They are my supplementary insurance, so I pay $206 for me and my husband. They are very easy to get a hold of. I can do everything online. I can talk to my doctor online and she gets back to me quickly. It's just a lot easier than it used to be and I don't have to sit in a doctor's office and wait for an hour and 1/2 for an appointment.

They are pretty good if you are in relatively good health. But if you start having problems, I don't think they are that good. They cover things but I don't think they are that considerate. There are long delays to see a specialist. It's six to eight weeks before you get to see anybody. They are not very helpful. My wife has been shuttled off to a lot of different doctors. I'm at the point where I may opt for another insurance carrier.
