Fast Maid Service

Setting up appointment was easy with the office staff. They gave a reminder call the day before, too. The maids showed up during arranged arrival window. They cleaned the house as I expected they would. They were very nice, and worked hard.

The ladies showed up on time, listened to my concerns, were very friendly and did a great job. The cleaned the shelves in the cabinets and the refrigerator even though I hadn't mentioned it. I would call them again. Everyone was really nice and friendly (scheduling, cleaning, etc).

That was so horrible and I drove them away. Everything in my house was in disorder. Everything was not in its place. They were just dreadful. I just think they were terrible. I would never let them back. I did ask them to leave. They get to about into the second hour and they start telling me something I couldn’t even understand. I speak Spanish. They were telling me that they were finish and they needed some more things to do but they weren’t finished. I went upstairs and looked in my bathroom and it was just chaos. They didn’t clean the commode properly. They didn’t clean the shower properly. They used some sort of a dust device on one of my Hunter Douglas blinds and they put such a dent in it that I thought I was going to replace the blinds and it turned out that I didn’t. They were just chaotic. They said they need more time to finish, I said, "No" and what they need to do is leave right now because I can’t stay here any longer and I will finish it. It has to be done right. They didn’t want to leave and I said that they have to leave and I didn’t want them here. They are getting paid, but I just want them out of my house. They did not clean the floors downstairs. They were pretty much on time.

They were very professional, friendly, and worked hard. I was very pleased with the results. I would like to have them on a regular basis.

I was called 30 minutes prior to arrival as promised and the 2 ladies arrived on time. they immediately went to work performing their duties. Upon completion (within the contracted time) the new owners arrived. Not only was i impressed with the work of the employees of Fast Maid but so were the new owners. I would recommend Fast Maids to anyone who wanted fast efficient service within the times alotted but alos at the contract price!

The ladies were comfortable with me cleaning with them, and we knocked out the entire house, everything. The whole house was sparkling when they left.

Two cleaning professionals showed up at 0700 to clean an empty townhouse following a residential move. The service had confirmed arrival time as between 0700 and 0730. They called us as we were on the way to meet them and we got there at 0710. The two cleaning professionals got right to work, cleaning the top floor and basement first; scooping up all items left by the movers, including light bulbs and cleaning supplies left in bathrooms, and throwing them away without asking f there was anything to be saved. The oven was sprayed with cleaner and allowed to soak while they cleaned other areas. At 1000, one of the ladies said that her boss said they had to leave as their 3 hours were up, despite the fact that the main floor of the house, including the kitchen and the oven full of noxious fumes, had not been touched. Apparently there was no ability to pay for an extra hour so they could complete the job. I had to clean out the oven and the rest of the kitchen, and paw through the bags of trash they'd left on the porch to find all the cleaning supplies they had tossed. The ladies were fast and thorough, but caught between client and the boss's policies.

They were very thorough, and it was very clean.

It was okay. It was not too bad. I had to pay for half an hour extra directly to them which was $35. They did a pretty okay job. There were some certain things that I wasn't happy with, but it was okay. It was my first time to use them. Some of the cleaning wasn't done in as much detail as I expected it to be because we moved to the house empty so we see a lot more dust so we know which places require most attention. A lot of the window panes weren't as clean as I thought. The kitchen wasn't done, the cupboards, and I had to go over all the cabinets myself like clean them from the inside and outside, and the bathroom floors weren't as clean as I would want them. Otherwise, it was okay. I am 8 months pregnant so I didn't have the option to do it myself. One of them spoke English but the others didn't, so whenever I told them to redo or if I wanted them to do the bathroom floor or if I want them to do the cabinet or someplace that I saw dust which they had already done, they would go back and do it. The vacuum wasn't that good on the stairs but I told them to do it more thoroughly because there were pets before in the house and I didn't want any cat hair, they responded well and did it again so that was nice of them.

I purchased the coupon for six hours of cleaning (two employees for 3 hours). The two employees assigned to the job arrived within the window provided and got right to work after a short tour of the basement space. They worked hard and efficiently and I got the thoroughly cleaned space downstairs that I needed. With about 15-20 minutes of time left, one employee quickly swept/vaccuumed most of the main living space upstairs while the other cleaned our small bathroom. I was very happy with the result and their friendly, professional approach to the task at hand. I would recommend them to friends and neighbors and will use them again in the future.

Very thorough, detailed cleaning. Included cleaning bathrooms, floors, surfaces, making the beds, and straightening up odds and ends. Would highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with this provider. I had absolutely no issues with them. They were punctual, thorough and very professional. I would absolutely recommend their services to others.

I had a very dirty empty 1 bedroom condo (my tenant clearly did not clean maybe ever) it needed to be scrubbed more than I wanted to do... And I thought a professional would do a better job. We had some scheduling and communication issues, including a no show, but honestly all I cared about is whether or not the cleaning was good... But they did a totally meh job. It was cleaned, they obviously swept and mopped and cleaned the appliances and stuff but they couldn't have spent more than an hour. The bathroom looked terrible and I ended up scrubbing it again myself. The tile floors still had random debris in the corners. They cleaned it like you would a house that was just cleaned last week not a move in/move out clean. You'd think after not showing up once and profusely apologizing they would have tried to do a good job, but no. I paid for six hours and got nowhere close to that:(

2 people arrived on time, cleaned 2-floor house including vacumning wood and tile floors, cleaning 3 bathrooms, meticulously dusting all surfaces. Will hire again for regular, ongoing service.

Scheduling and the service were good. Cleaning team was very thorough, professional, nice and spoke English. We were trying out a new service to see if we wanted to switch from our current service since we'd had a break from house cleaning and were going to start on a weekly service. Cleaners did a good job and did some things that the other cleaners didn't do but did not do some things our other provider does. None of the differences were important as both services do a great job. We went with our old provider mainly because the weekly service with Fast Maid was $50 more a week. I didn't try to negotiate since there was such a big price difference. I would pick this service in the future if the price was right.

Why I would use this team again. Quiet, unobtrusive, communicated well, thorough - bathrooms including around faucets super clean; provided all supplies, including trash can bags, mirrors have never looked this good. This house is difficult and time consuming to clean -- these folks are real pros.

Mostly, it went well. Our maids were Sarah and Brenda. They showed up within the time window promised and, according to my husband, who was here, they worked like gang busters. Most of what they did they did very well, and the house was a pleasure to return to. I have two quibbles, both relatively minor. One is on timing. They arrived about 10 min after 7, and took a few minutes to get in and ready to work. They were also illegally parked and were certainly going to get a ticket, so I took a few minutes to show the driver where she could park legally. She then spent several minutes finding and going over an email laying out services that weren't covered, even though I assured her those weren't services I requested. In short, by the time they could actually both start working, it was about 7:30. They did then work very hard--and Brenda had already started working by about 7:20. However, they told my husband at 10 they were ready to go, even though one bathroom had a number of visible issues. He put me on the phone and I asked that they finish that bathroom. Sarah asked if we were going to pay extra, and I pointed out there should been time left of the 6 hours we purchased. They did put in a few more minutes, but they clearly weren't happy about it. The second quibble is that the gentleman who manages the operation twice sent me emails asking that I call him, but neither time did he provide a phone number. It took me some time to go back to the list, find the listing and the general phone number and call. In both cases, I got an answering machine. So, summary. They do good work and at a very good price. They came into DC on short notice, which we appreciated. Perhaps they've been burned by customers asking for more services than contracted for or trying to get extra time. We would use them again, and if this form allowed, I would give them a B+. They just have a few kinks to work out.

Very well. Nice work in cleaning the main level of my house, floors were very well done, kitchen sparkled. Both ladies did a great job!

Very well done. Dusted all the surfaces. Cleaned the bathroom thoroughly including tiles in shower. Emptied all trash receptacles including kitchen.

Excellent cleaning, except that they rubbed some paint off my cabinets and scratched out wording on a metal plate on the stove. The manager was somewhat unresponsive.

I purchased the big deal and had two individuals thoroughly clean my whole house. I have used a few cleaning services over the last 10 years and these cleaners were the best I ever had. I'm a "neatnix" and these two individuals cleaned things, e.g., bathroom lights and ceiling fans, that I rarely clean. My husband was equally impressed and so we decided to have them clean our house on a monthly basis. You can't get a better review than that!

I purchased a 6 hour cleaning deal on angies list and arranged with the company that every additional hour will be charged at their regular rate. After 3 hours (2 cleaners) went by, they started getting ready to leave. I had to explain that I need the house cleaned even if that takes longer, although this was an arrangement from the very beginning. The cleaners seemed to look at the clock more than concentrate on the work. The bottom line is that the house did not look professionally cleaned after they were done. Tile was not properly cleaned, floor was wiped as if they were in a great hurry, oven door was left dirty, dust in many areas. Basically - they missed a lot of small things and I was not at all satisfied with their work.

Staff were on time, professional and did a through job.
