Craig's Lawn Care

I have used this company for a year after interviewing six companies and my expectations are exceeded. This was the second year I've used CLC for my spring clean-up. Craig gave me great ideas to make my yard look extra nice e.g adding some fresh stones, better edging, etc. His team showed up on time, worked non-stop and did a great job. The prices are very fair, he doesn't take advantage of women like others might by increasing prices. He is a rare, hard-working, honest businesman.

Craig’s Lawn Care does the mowing part and Allen Porter is the landscaping side of the business. He does a really good job, came out, and gave me an estimate on some off-season work. I was really comfortable with what he told us, the suggestions, and the price. His price is an off-season price and that it was we were really looking for. He does the lawn care but we were looking for landscaping at the time. We had a lot of debris in our yard that needed to be cleaned up. They came out, cleaned it up, and hauled it off. They made sure that when they got finished that I saw how much was in the truck, because they charge by the size of the load in the truck. They wanted me to see that they had a full truck. They did a good job and the price was good.

They were very good. They were punctual, professional, and they cleaned up very nicely after the job was done. They did a lot of sub-hiring for a few services and it seemed like they were long time professionals; it was a very good crew. They were very knowledgeable and worked very hard. They did a good job and I was very satisfied with their services. I had got a comparison price as well.

Easy from start to finish. I called for an estimate and they were out the next workday and left the estimate. When I asked them to do the work, they came by with the mulch and made sure they knew what I wanted done. I have one ornamental tree that I didn't want them to trim so they asked about it and left it alone. They did everything else as discussed and everything looked good. I liked the way they trimmed the bushes in the front of the house. I will use again.

This company does great work and my yard has always looked nice. The only reason I did not give them all A's is because I have had response issues with them in the past, however, they seem to have resolved those issues.

I have used Craig several times this fall for mowing and they are quick to come out and quick to do the job. Very good mowing and edging and blowing of debris. The leaf service was a bit more expensive than I expected, but they did a great job and took care of all of my leaves!

I have them mow grass and I have them do this weekly. Than twice a year they do the clean up of pruning, planting, and etc. They were recommended by other person to me and I have been using them for the past four years. They are always reliable, pricing is good, organized, and very professional. I would them to others.

Craig's Lawn Care has been mowing my yard for a number of years (all VERY good). So I contacted them originally for a mulching. However, I then decided that the yard needed more work. Allen Porter is the gentleman in charge of landscape services. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. I contacted a number of other bidders (through AL). Many of the quotes were close in price. I decided to go with Allen since many of the ideas were his, I had confidence in him, and I liked his work style. The crew Allen sent was excellent and were easy to communicate with as regards direction, etc.

Craig's mowers are in and out pretty quickly, and do a great job! I'll absolutely keep contracting with them as long as they continue to do work this good and keep their rates as competitive as they have since I hired them. My only complaint is about their responsiveness. Last year, I called them to ask for some one-time landscaping work, and I had to call them a few times to get a return call at all. When I did, the person I spoke to never showed up to give us an estimate for the work. This year, I called and left them voicemail to request their leaf removal service. I haven't followed up with multiple phone calls, but neither have I received any return phone call, and the requested work has not been done. I'm happy with the service they provide, but when I need something beyond what I've already contracted them for, it's difficult to get a response from them.

I like Craig's Lawn Care. They mow my yard on a weekly basis. I have not had any problems with them. When I needed a quote they were able to come to my house that day. That is what I call service.

Alan Porter came out to do the estimate and I was very impressed by both his knowledge and passion for his work. It is a pleasure to work with a man who takes pride in his work. Craig was scheduled to do the estimate but Al was in the area. Whenever I contact either Al or Craig I get a same-day response. Al gave me a very fair quote -- not the cheapest and not the most expensive. (I had EIGHT companies quote me, so I speak with authority when saying the price was fair.) The day my spring clean-up was scheduled it was drizzling. However, his team still showed up and worked the entire day. I was so impressed with their dedication and professionalism. My only advice would be to make sure you are there the day they do the cleanup and specify if you want them to go light on trimming the bushes/tree limbs. The lead for the crew walked me around after the work was completed and finished up a few minor things I noted. He also educated me a bit on my new yard, which was nice because I had just moved in and had no clue whether some things were weeds or plants. I will certainly be giving them a call once the fall work is needed. I also use them for mowing -- $45 for 3/4 acre. So far so good -- they come when they say (or the next day or Saturday if it is raining). Nice to have one more thing I don't have to worry about doing and can come home to a beautiful yard. Thanks!

If the weather keeps them from mowing on my assigned day, they always come within the next 24 hours. It's a pleasure to come home to a neatly mown lawn each week.

They show up every Wednesday durring the season, or come another day of the week when it is raining. They have always done a great job mowing and edging the lawn. Alan Porter performed the landscaping work for us a few weeks ago. He was very prompt, and did a very nice job creating the beds and planting bushes. He also cleared out brush in the back yard, and planted grass were our dog had damaged the lawn. He even planted grass in a few bare spots we had not discussed as part of the job. The only issue we have ever had is that in the past it usually takes Craisg a while to return calls, and several weeks before he starts the landscaping job. The landscaping jobs once completed have always been excellent. We did not have this issue with Alan, who started the work 4 days after we signed the contract, so we are very happy they have teamed up. We will continue to use them for any additional landscaping we need in the future.

Everything has always been excellent, we have used them for years.

We did not use the company because it did not seem to be the right fit.

I would not recommend their service. I was foolish to try and replace previous lawn care company. Not only did they do a terrible job at mowing my lawn, the company lacked professional service to return customers calls, and then overcharge me for their service. Glad to be back with my other lawn care company.

I have used Craig's Lawn Care for years and they are good. They do a good job cleaning up and edging. I thought they were expensive but I compared them to other people and they are not. They are expensive if you want them to come out and do a major clean up of your flower beds.

We are happy with their lawn care. We do not have any complaints.

They are great. They provide a senior discount for me. I really like their service very much.

I called and left a message about my needs. I recieved a call back in the next day or so and we arranged a time for an estimate. Bob came out to look over the property and give an estimate. He used a formula to decide the estimate based on the size of my yard, which I appreciated, as i felt scammed by the last company who cut our grass. He quoted me a very competitive price. He cautioned me that since I was requesting to have my grass cut in December, there would be a delay as they were in the middle of removing leaves and they were very busy. He told me that I would be added to the list and that they would come out and then I would receive an invoice in the mail. He said that I should never pay anyone in person. Bob also noticed some places on our lawn where the grass had been worn away (by some construction we'd had done) and told me which type of seed would work. He found some of the grass seed in his truck and put it down for me without charging me. When a couple of weeks had passed, I called to remind the company that I was waiting for lawn care. (I am not convinced that they forgot me. The more likely reason for the delay is that I should have called the receptionist right after the estimate to confirm that I wanted the work done. This is the most plausible, as I was distracted by holiday stuff and our home construction projects when we first spoke.) In any event, the day after I called, the crew was out and doing the work, which was beautifully done, and thoroughly done. I will be using the company for services when spring comes and I would recommend them to anyone else as well.

They show up and they do a good job. Once the lawn looked chewed up and called him. We thought that the mower sort of dug in and tore up the lawn. He came out on a weekend to look at it. There were raccoons that were digging the lawn. We think that his price is quite reasonable.

They did a really good job on leaf removal. They are very expensive. They did not do a good job on trimming but they didn’t charge for that. I thought they were kind of pricey but I might be wrong. They are the first lawn care price that I got and used.

Although sometimes slow to respond to requests..when the work gets done, it is done well.

They are reliable. The workers are tireless. We use them to mulch sometimes as well.

It has gone very well. We are very happy.
