It went well. They did very professional job, completed all the requested tasks within the fixed price.

They have cut our grass twice now and have done a wonderful job. They are fast and efficient with the mowing and trimming. They also allow for an every-other-week contract instead of just a weekly one. I prefer every other week because it is better for our type of grass especially during the hot, dry months. They have done such a good job that we are going to continue using them even after my husband heals.

They have done lawn work for me for the last two years but I find them very frustrating to work with. First, they never return phone calls. This season alone I have called three times and left messages with no response. previously, they wouldn't tell me when exactly they were coming and I have a dog that has access to the backyard, so this is very frustrating. They do good work, but the lack of responsiveness has made me look elsewhere.

Edged all beds, removed weeds, put down several bags of mulch, removed ALL debris. Left the yard looking BEAUTIFUL!!

I purchased 4 hours with Craig's Lawn Care via the Angie's List Big Deal. While I received an automated email from them when I purchased, I did not hear back from them to schedule until after I reached out, 9 days later, requesting they contact me. I provided information via email and Craig followed up with a phone call, and then a visit to ensure he understood what work I was interested in having his crew complete. It was a thorough walk-through, and Craig was very upfront with what he thought they could accomplish, which provided me the opportunity to establish the priorities. Craig was very knowledgeable regarding the species in my yard and provided some recommendations based on his experience. Work was initially delayed because of weather impacts on his prior-scheduled work, but communication was great in getting me an update with new estimate on time to come out. He confirmed via email before the work, and then gave me a call when he went to the house with the crew in the morning to make sure they all understood everything from his notes of the walk through on what was to be done. All yard work was completed to my specifications and all clippings/debris were hauled away as part of the deal. The yard looked great! Craig's Lawn Care exceeded my expectations by providing a great service, at a great price, for the amount of work that was done.

Two workers showed up for at total of 4 hours and the work was actually more than we thought it would be. The owner came to look at the job beforehand and said that it should be completed in the 4 hours but there was really alot to do - they probably completed two thirds of the job so I will need to have them come back for at least 2 more hours. The workers were very efficient but I did have to remind them to do a couple of things before they left. I thought it was unusual though that they did not come with a wheel barrow and luckily I had one, and an extra tarp, to haul away a lot of the debris - they only came with one which they laid on the back of the truck which left them without a tarp. It took several attempts to get the company to come out as the first appointment they forgot and I had to call them. The owner was very apologetic and did send an email the night before with a reminder this go-around.

Excellent service, couldn't ask for a more responsive or quality service. Craig and his team work to provide what is requested and works with the owner to ensure the work is done properly and meets the expectations of the client. I am extremely pleased with their work.

It went great, just as agreed upon. He ripped out & dug up all the grown over and unruly front flower beds including digging out dead azaleas & camellias, tilled the soil and mulched it all. It looks GREAT. He weeding the entire side beds of years of weeds we could get a handle on. Cut way back the ornamental grasses in back & front. Trimmed the neighbor's trees that over hang in our yard. Just a ton of work. Again, our yard front and back looks great!

Showed up as promised, did the job, and cleaned up promptly. No complaints.

Oscar and his colleague arrived and reviewed the planned work with me. They got right to it, divididing the work to accomplish it faster. For the trimming work, they checked with me to see if it was at the correct level. They cleaned up wonderfully and even blew what leaves remained in my beds that I hadn't raked away. I was very pleased and will look to use them again.

The owner of the company contacted me very promptly and we discussed the work to be done. He came by my house one day to have a look and determine how much mulch would be needed. I paid extra for purchasing, delivering, and spreading the mulch, which was not part of the Big Deal. Work was dome quickly and professionally. I am.very pleased.

He wrote the estimate for 6 hours with four hours from the deal going towards the time. We also had agreed he would mow my back yard for $40. He sent 4 men and was only here between 60 and 90 minutes. They didn't tell me when they left and they hadn't even mowed my lawn. He said he had come out to my home and he stated he didn't even know I was there to discuss the work or when he would be back to mow my lawn. He had my cell phone number and I had spoken to his men when they arrived so i'm not sure why he couldn't get in touch with me. The written estimate was for a 6 hour time frame and not for 6 man hours. He told me he would get everything done he possibly could in those six hours and included everything in the written estimate. My yard does look cleaned up, but they were not here for the time the estimate provided for. He also didn't mow my yard and said he would come back to do that at a later date. I feel as though he didn't deliver what was expected. He was very defensive when I brought up my concerns.

Went well three guys showed up and removed everything I needed , but disposal means throwing things in the woods not hauling away .... and that's what I though removal was. Luckily my husband caught them hauling stuff to the creek and directed them to the fire pit so we could burn the grass. They worked hard and saved me from a weekend of sweating..... that's why I gave them a A..

Craig himself stopped by within a couple days of my purchase of the Big Deal, and said that he thought the team could get most of the job done in the time allotted. A week later (which was not a delay - it was due to the weather), his team arrived ahead of schedule, walked through the job with me, and completed the entire job within the time allowed by the Big Deal. Everything looks great and I am very happy. I have already contacted Craig again about some additional work.

It went well as always. We were notified in advance so we could mark our sprinkler system. The guys are on time, do their job, and cleanup neatly.

I have used Craig's for a year now and they are always punctual and quick. They mow and trim and then blow all the debris from my driveway, walkway and deck!

Very disappointed in this company. I contacted Craigs becuase I was putting my mothers house on the market and needed someone to take care of the lawn on a weekly basis. They were already cutting her neighbors lawn so I thought it would be convenient for both them and me since they were already in the neighborhood. First and foremost, they are TERRIBLE at communication. The only way for a customer to communicate with them is by leaving a voicemail and just hoping they return your call. I had to call twice just to get someone to call me to arrange for a cost estimate. Once I finally did get someone to review the property, they sent me a contract which was signed and returned back to them. We had decided to mow both the front and back, once per week. This was needed as the house was now on the market and needed to look in top shape. I do not live in the general area so I had trust that they would do well. After several weeks, our Realtor had mentioned that the lawn had not yet been cut. I contacted Craigs (again, via voicemail) to follow up and request status. Some time had gone by and I had confirmed that the lawn had STILL not been cut. Did they just not want my business and decided not to accept the contract? I wouldn't know as they do not return calls. Again, I have not received any response to my call made earlier this week so today I left them a message asking them to disregard the contract that was mailed back to them. I am currently searching for someone else who can take care of the work in a more professional way. I understand that with a small business, not everyone can afford to have someone in an office answering phone calls. But if the protocol is to leave a voice mail, then I feel as if they should be doing better to monitor the messages that come in, At minimum several times a day to ensure their existing and future customers are being taken care of. Craigs Lawn service{ If you are reading this and if you do indeed track all calls that come in, my suggestion to you is to do better with your responses. As a customer, we deserve that much. Its unfortunate that this has to end this way as I had several other people in the neighborhood waiting on my recommendation once trying you out. My recommendation to them will be to choose someone else.

No work was ever done because they never got back with me after calls and an email.

Was contacted by Allen and he was nothing but professional and pleasant. They did the work as promised, when promised. Very satisfied.

How'd it go? Not well. I sent an e-mail request for an estimate on regular mowing. His company does a beautiful job on my neighbors' lawns and his crew is always pleasant when I see them. I wanted to surprise my husband and arrange for lawn care this summer to give him a break. Problem number one: the surprise was ruined. The guy showed up without making an appointment, my husband answered the door and assumed he was just knocking on doors. Problem number two: I felt he was in a rush, his answers were short, and a little argumentative. I'm sure he knew what he was talking about, but personally I don't like it when contractors treat me this way--the same ones usually go into high gear when they talk to my husband, but I'm the one who takes care of most of the maintenance on the house. In other words, talk to me or don't bother. When he left, he said he'd e-mail me a quote, which I never got, but he probably rightly guessed that it wasn't going to work out. Note: Punctuality is rated an F because he came unannounced and he never sent the quote.

I have contacted the provider a few times and I was told that they would come over to provide a quote but they never did. After few tries I finally gave up. So I am not sure about the quality of their work but responsiveness was terrible.

I called Craig's Lawn Care on a Friday afternoon around 3pm. I received a call back from Craig about 1.5 hours later and he told me that he would stop by over the weekend so that he could give me an estimate for how much it would cost to mow my lawn. I never heard back from them and ended up going with another lawn service.

I've been using them for almost 2 years now. They do a great job and are very reliable.

I called Craig's after hours and left a message. The very next morning I received a call from Allen, saying he was on his way to do an estimate for the lawncare. I missed him, but he came and left the estimate. It is honestly very close to the price I've received from a few other services, but their coupon allows for a free mow after four. I called them back and asked them to go ahead and mow, but I'd like an estimate on the services mentioned above. Again, Allen called right away and met me at the house the following day. It was raining (he said that was good, so we could see the drainage issues) that day, but we walked around the entire house so I could explain what I was interested in having done. It took him approximately 15 minutes to put together an estimate - three buried drains in our yard, cleaning of the gutters, and tree and bushes trimming. Allen also noticed that we had some erosion under our porch, and said he would be happy to direct the crew to put the clay dirt taken out for the drain pipes and pack it under the porch to stabilize it better. After discussing with my husband, we decided to definitely do the drains and have the gutters cleaned...we'll see how the trimming goes on our own. Allen, we may be calling you back about that one as well... :) We have not had the extra work completed yet, but I have had my first mow. They were supposed to be here on Friday, but due to the crazy rain we have had, it slipped to Saturday. The yard looks fantastic!!! Can't wait to get the rest of the work scheduled and completed.
