The sales representative came to our home on Monday, October 30, saw the work we needed done, took measurements, and promised to provide options and estimates by mid-week. When I had not heard from them by that Friday, I sent an email noting that I was still waiting for the promised options and estimates. The sales representative wrote back saying that she was working on a response that evening. One week later I still have not received the promised options and estimates or any other communication from Moss Building & Design. How can one have any confidence in a company that does not even meet its promise to provide a timely estimate?

He did a great job! He was actually a few minutes early, and super friendly and polite when he came in. He took his time and did the job right and I would definitely recommend Moss as well as hire them in the future.

I didn't end up using their services, they were outrageously expensive. The service was great, I got exactly what I needed.

It was very expensive, but then they probably do very good, quality work. You pay for what you get. They can punctual and they were very informative. My first impression was they were very knowledgeable. I don’t think I would use them because I don’t have any remodeling projects. If I was remodeling I would get another quote, but I don’t think we’re doing anything right now.

We recently contracted with Moss Construction to correct damage as a result of termite infestation. From start to finish, this company was great. Arek, the project manager, was hands on throughout the work. Jeff and Emil were a pleasure to work with; always on time, maintained a clean work site, and performed all work in a professional manner. Finding a good contractor to perform work in your home is always an iffy proposition. I can highly recommend Moss Construction. They are at the top of my list for home services.

I contacted moss to get an estimate for repairing and restaining my back deck. The staff were professional and courteous and I would absolutely consider them for future projects. Unfortunately, their bid was not competitive with that from other angie's list companies and so we decided to go with a different company.

The handymen did a fantastic job. They checked their work 2-3 times for accuracy, cleaned up after themselves (Including polishing off fingerprints from the chandelier), and helped move our dining room table back in place when they were done.

This is the second time I have called Moss and I am extremely pleased with the results. I requested Stan Stevens (for the second time) and his experience and professionalism made it easy to have him moving around my house. He really puts the "improve" in home improvements. Anything he touched, he made better by his thoughtfulness about a solution and then his execution. His work is pristine. The fact that Stan was still there after 2 years between calls tells me that Moss is a good company to work for. For the price and quality, Moss will be the company I call for services.

I bought an AL coupon for a handyman for a day in mid May called the same day to schedule. The service was sch dulled for June 15. I sent a written task list in advance. On the day of service, the office called to let me know my handyman, Jeff, was stuck in traffic and might be a little late. Jeff arrived just a bit late as promised, walked the site to review the project list with me and then, as expected, went to purchase needed materials that I did not have. He Returned quickly and got to work on my list of a dozen or more projects, everything from repairing exterior porch railing and wood fences to adjusting hinges on interior cabinets. I got a full day of efficient, high quality work that would have taken me many weekends to do myself for a much less professional result. A great pertinence, well worth the cost. Thank you!

Moss selectively removed the broken bricks and replaced them. The repair wall now looks great. Moss did an excellent job of matching the brick and mortar.

Can't express how thankful I am for the excellent job Moss has done during day one of our project and over the last few years. We had our top floor bedroom converted into a master suite which involved removing the roof and adding an few feet of additional space to the footprint to give enough room for all the bells and wistles. Throughout the life of the project we were kept well informed of next steps and progress of the construction. The crew itself was very kind, friendly, respectible, and took great care not to disrupt our family's normal flow. Over the past few years, if any issues came up Moss was on all over it! Since they do basically anything they have an expert in every field came out to handle the situation. We were so happy with these guys we used their handyman service to finish some of my unfinished projects. I was amazed at how much this guy could complete in 8 hours. My expectation was that he'd have enough time to hang a door and install all the trim and he ended up finishing up the entire room! He was remarkably efficient and detailed. That's the difference I think between a DIYer like myself and a true professional. The Kent family truely appreciates everything that Moss has done for us, thanks to John, little John, Jodi, Pete, Frank, and Jeff for your outstanding work over the years!

Someone was supposed to come by in the afternoon last week to give an estimate, never showed up. Wife called Moss and they said the guy called in sick, someone should have called us, sorry about that,etc. Ok stuff happens. Reschedule for Monday at 0900, wife makes arrangements to be there (we both work). Guy shows up at 0745 and calls, says he's standing outside. Wife doesn't get the message til 0820 and calls him back, but he says sorry I already left. Keep in mind he wasn't even supposed to get there til 0900. Says he will call back later to reschedule, no surprise we never hear from him. Someone (not him) from Moss calls back that night and leaves a message, says something about about a "miscommunication" and maybe they can get someone out there on Wednesday. We're gonna find someone else.

Very well. Excellent workers; good oversight by Project Manager; price higher than other quotes but quality of work was deciding factor.

The Moss team is responsive and efficient. They handled everything in a professional manor and the quality of work and price were excellent. A special shout out to Greg Gardner who has the title of Customer Success Manager. He is all of that! Greg responded to every email and question promptly and made everything I needed go smoothly. He was my single point of contact to a large company and he made it all feel like a great neighborhood company that you can always rely on.

Both projects were done with a high level of professionalism and expertise. The electrician was licienced (important to us), and he did high-quality work and was thorough. For both projects the workers showed up when they said they would, answered all of our questions, work was completed in a timely manner, and they cleaned up after their work. We have hired many contractors over the years and Moss is, by far, the most honest and best contractor/builder we have worked with. Highly recommend! Andrew is excellent also--he returns all of our calls, answers our questions and is very helpful in managing the projects we've hired Moss for. Thank you Andrew and Moss, for your great service!

I had used Moss a while ago to refurbish my bathroom (which went very well). When researching I took note they had a "Home Services" section. I remember reading "no job too small". When my sink seemingly went from flowing to clogged over night I reached out. I was hoping to get it done before the weekend. Andrew contacted me and told me he had a person in the area. He showed up and cleared my issue. Was a very painless process!

I went back to Moss after a very successful basement remodel and elevator installation in 2015. They did not disappoint. The estimator, Rob Livingston, came promptly after I reached out and I got a thorough, well thought-out estimate a few weeks later and had no budget surprises. The project started as scheduled and, as always happens when you open open up walls, took a little longer than planned. As was true the first time, the people who work for this company are genuinely nice people in addition to doing high quality work. My project manager, Greg Maratto was responsive to my questions and concerns. The company had changed its materials selection and ordering process since my first project and I found the process, with my coordinator Michelle Moore, worked very smoothly. The company had also implemented a new quality control review process. I appreciated this pro-active periodic check-in on my project even though the folks working in my house were doing great on their own. I am very pleased with my new spaces. They did a very good job. They were knowledgeable and didn't cut corners.

My handyman arrived early, was extremely professional and courteous and very clear in explaining what he thought core issues were behind our broken items and how he was going to approach fixing them. He worked fast, cleanly, and methodically. I was very impressed.

I provided all the supplies to Stan, the handyman who did the painting. He arrived on time, and completed the project in less than the time that MOSS had quoted me. He was extremely professional and friendly, and made sure to keep the door to the room closed so that the entire house wouldn't smell like paint (this was important, as my two young children were home with me that day). The paint job looks fantastic, and he left the room exactly how it was when he arrived in terms of cleanliness. While I received this service for free as part of a Facebook giveaway, I would aboslutely hire MOSS in the future for small jobs like this one, and would absolutely get a quote from them for larger projects.

I was very pleased with the quality of work, as well as the amount of items accomplished during the time. I coordinated the job with Greg who responded to all of my emails and questions promptly and was very helpful throughout the entire process. Jeff was the handyman that came to my home and he was fantastic. He performed all of the items on my list. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful when I asked him questions about other items in my home that needed to be worked on. I plan on asking him to come again to work on some other home projects,
