The things other than the faucet were fine. The faucet was done wrong. They blamed me for this (I got a 'bad' faucet). They sent a plumber to fix this - he fixed one thing and left another (after calling in he started to claim the faucet was bad - prior to the call said that the job wasn't done right). There was still a leak - not as bad. For only $130 more than the original price. This plumber told me I needed new parts - that the faucet was defective. I ended up calling in another plumber, as I didn't buy the argument from the Moss plumber. The second one looked at the work done by Moss and said, "Did you have your husband do this?" Basic things to seal where the leak came from (pipe dope) fixed the issue. They felt badly for me so they gave me a discount.

I couldn't be happier. Moss contacted me immediately and set a time for the appointment. They showed up when they said they would and did the work in an effecient and professional manner. Everything looks perfect. I would definitely use Moss again for other home repair needs.

Is there a word that is more descriptive than "fantastic"? From initial consult with Michelle to set up a date, to completion of the day's work, everything went better than I ever dreamed. My first conversation with Michelle involved my giving her a list of tasks I was looking to have completed. We are getting ready to sell our house, so the list was long, although not difficult. She assigned Brian Walker, who turned out to be the perfect match for the jobs. It was a 3 week wait, but well worth it. Another wonderful thing is that Moss uses a special "project" system that they assign you a password for so you can communicate with the office in case you need to add something to the job that might require a special tool. For example, I had a basketball backboard that needed to come down and wanted to make sure Brian had the appropriate blade to do the cutting. Information submitted and acknowledged! On the scheduled day, Brian arrived and got right to work. On some things we needed to work together. On other things, Brian just ran with it. But he certainly gave me his all for the allotted time! Brian, it seems, knows how to do everything! Not only did he do a perfect job on the tasks I assigned him, he also went above and beyond to look at a skylight we had an issue with. Although he couldn't fix it, he told me what could be done which contradicted what the roofing company who originally installed it had told me. I called another roofing company for a consult and they confirmed what Brian had told me. [Brian even followed up with me by phone to see if I had gotten anyone to fix the skylight.] Like I said, Brian knows everything. I can't say enough about the efficiency of Moss as a company. Michelle was wonderful and gave me confidence from that first phone call. But Brian was a true gift! He is personable, efficient, knowledgeable. If only all businesses could emulate this company's practices. But they still wouldn't have Brian. Thank you to the Moss team and especially to Brian Walker for making my experience such a positive one. They are now #1 in my list of service providers!

Went really well. We could not believe how much the handyman was able to complete in 8 hours. We should have had even more projects listed for him!

Roof looks great. The job was done in one day and the crew did a great job of cleaning up and making sure that no nails or other debris was left behind.

Jeff arrived right on time and was extremely professional. We did a walk through for everything we needed done and then he went to work. We were surprised at how quickly he completed all of the work, and we are delighted with the quality of the work. Will use again.

Had an appointment for 2 different people to come from Moss. Michelle at Moss emailed me confirming this with me and giving the names and times they would arrive. Plumber came and did his thing. The other guy never showed. It was after 5pm so I emailed Michelle. No response. Called Friday. Spoke to some else who seemed sympathetic and took a message and said Michelle wasn't at her desk but she's call me back. Guess what. No call, no email. Way to treat a first time customer.

Maria is wonderful to work with and very responsive. I am still working with her on some electrical work I requested an estimate on and she is great. Stan was fantastic - very knowledgeable, does great work and enjoyable to interact with! His drywall work is flawless with perfectly blended edges even on a very challenging 14-ft. ceiling. In addition, he noticed a faulty dimmer switch for some recessed lighting in the ceiling he was working on and offered to repair it. He even changed those hard to reach light bulbs and hung a few large mirrors for us. No job was too big or small. He approached each task with enthusiasm and competence. I will be calling you to schedule him again in the near future for some additional projects.

Loved this coupon! I just moved into my new home and have lots to do. Bought the coupon and had the guy paint my basement. It looks fabulous, he did a terrific job!

Moss was great again. They were on time, courteous, and cleaned up well after themselves. Many contractors never leave the work site as clean as they find it. Moss is a refreshing exception. Everything was left exactly as they found it or better. Would recommend highly and use again in the future.

Both technicians arrived on time, cleaned up, and provided me with an additional estimate on the installation of an attic floor to support my storage needs. They also showed me how to use the attic ladder and gave me a tip on padding the ends of the ladder so it would not scratch the wooden floor below it.

Went very well. In particular, the project manager did an outstanding job keeping everything flowing. We finished pretty close to the original estimated date. One part in particular which we appreciated was their staying engaged until the entire punch list was completed.

Scheduling is typically a few weeks out, so had to plan early. First handyman that came out was not able to do the job, not correct skill set. Miscommunication during scheduling apparently. Second handyman (after rescheduling) did have the correct skill set and did a great job. Fantastic guy. Polite, professional, walked us through every step, cleaned up, finished earlier than planned.

I was impressed with the project manager on my case who managed his staff and their time to get my job done perfectly in 2 appointments (first sending the plumber to fix the leak, then sending someone to patch the hole in the ceiling). The plumber who arrived first was extremely professional, friendly, and very skilled at his job. He knew exactly what was going on and at one point I even said to him "You're so smart!" -- to which he responded modestly, "Well, I've been doing this for decades." The handy man who came was equally professional, friendly, and very skilled at his job. He was also very smart at problem solving and very pleasant. As someone who has done a lot of remodeling, I have to say I dread dealing with contractors. However, the staff at Moss was A+ and it was like having my friends over to help me. I have now asked them for estimates on a kitchen build out. Well done, gentlemen.

Bought the deal on Angie's list, the whole process if very smooth and communication was very good. Contractor Jaime did a great job in 8 hours, he was professional and polite. Will use him again for handyman job in the future.

I cancelled the Big Deal order because the provider and I were unable to find a mutually convenient time to schedule the service. This was no fault of the provider, but more of my time constraints.

Great job. Moss showed up promptly, spent the necessary time to understand the work and got down to it. He worked meticulously to remove all the rotten framing around a porch support and to replace it with the new materials I provided. His finished work is beautiful. Then he moved on to the deck. He replaced over 75 linear feet of hand rail that was cracked, split and in general disrepair. His cuts for the angles were great and the new handrails look awesome

This was a little tricky because Moss had to coordinate with our insurance company. They worked with us to give us the service as cheap as possible using their handy man for a day coupons with the insurance payment to save a little money out of our pocket. It took a little bit of coordination, but we usually heard back within 24 hours from Moss when we needed something. We had to schedule the work about 6 weeks out, but that was to arrange the work to be done on days when one of us would be available to be home. When the time to get the work done came, our handyman was prompt and professional. He worked extremely hard from the minute he got here until the minute he left. So I'm certain we weren't billed for any time that he wasn't working. He worked efficiently and effectively. We were really impressed by how industrious he was. He was also very professional. He spoke perfect English so there were no communication problems. We were billed for 19.5 hours over two days and I'm being honest when I say I don't think anyone could have worked any faster. Without a doubt I would use Moss next time and every time

Project manager was superb and stayed on top of every phase of the construction. He was also very responsive as we had questions throughout the process. All of Moss's subcontractors were excellent and punctual (concrete, framers, electric, plumbers drywall and carpenter). The attention to detail, especially with the carpenter were incredible. Everyone took great care to minimize the intrusiveness of such a project. The only glitch occurred with the architect whose roofing design wasn't right, however Moss was quick to make the necessary adjustments and also absorbed the additional cost to correct the issue. The work quality is A+ and we are very happy with the results. We would recommend Moss to anyone and plan to use them again on our next project.

All of the interactions that I had with Moss were great. I did have to wait about 2 months for someone to come out because I bought a Big Deal and there aren't very many handymen available to do the work. I was happy with the job that was done.

It was great to get all these things done at once. Repairing the deck, drywall, and reinstalling the light fixture all in one day was fantastic. Andy worked fast and efficiently so we were able to add some other items to the list. I was very happy to address a number of small things that needed attention. I will definitely reach out to Moss again for future work.

Purchased deal for 8 hours through Angie's. Luis was prompt and very professional. We have an older home with difficult, thick plaster walls (3+ inches deep). We had three sconces installed where none previously existed. I had no idea what an ordeal it would be. I had planned on having several other small handyman jobs completed and there wasn't time, BUT I totally understood why. I feel fortunate that Luis completed the sconces install. Would use them again and recommend them highly.
