It was fine. They were expensive and therefore I didn't engage them for a job. They gave me an estimate that another company is doing now. I would likely not use them in the future because of the price.

Wonderful work. The engineer was very professional and thoughtful. He took time to explain what he was doing and why.

I had requested a quote for electrical, plumbing, and handyman services for my laundry room. The quote seemed high but I wanted to proceed with the electrical changes. The electrician was great. Arrived on time. Did a great job. Cleaned up everything and was able to discuss after the job was completed what he did. He got everything completed in 2 hours. He brought the wrong dryer plug receptacle so had to go out and get another one. It took him 30 minutes to return with the correct receptacle, installed it in 15 minutes and was out. Great guy. Loved his work and professionalism. Costs at completion-$99 per hour-$3.5=$346.50 Service trip fee=$35 Materials cost=$338.68 total = $720 My estimates for materials & labor (looked up on Lowes web site) 3-LED ceiling lights 6 inch $20-$70 1-Toggle light switch with dimmer $10-15 1-Dryer plug 30 amp $10 1-GFI outlet $15 1-Electrical outlet $2-$5 Material costs guess =>$87-$255 Labor= 2.5 hours X $99 = $250 Service trip fee =$35 Total high estimate=>$540 low estimate =$370 Difference =$180 - $350 (low estimate) Estimated overcharge 30% (94% based on low estimate) In full disclosure, I didn't go back to the vendor about the charges or my disapproval. I just don't plan on using them again. Summary: Great job, very professional. I am not comfortable recommending this vendor based on the costs. I have tried to transparently explain my experience so you can decide on your own.

Several years ago we worked with Moss Building & Design to create our dream kitchen. Bob Keene was our project manager. This review is primarily about the outstanding customer service we have and continue to receive from Bob. The responsiveness, attention to detail and willingness to help whenever we have a question has been amazing! Recently we had a small issue with a cabinet door and Bob was able to help us resolve the problem quickly. This was even more remarkable considering our project was complete over three years ago. We really appreciate the great customer service from Moss Building & Design and especially Bob!

Awesome! I would definitely hire them again. You don't have to pay the day of service, they e-mail you the bill, and can pay online.

As always happens, the Moss response was prompt when we reported the leaks. The diagnosis and estimate were also prompt, and so was the efficient solution to the problem. Moss sets the highest standards, and maintains those highest standards in all aspects.

It went pretty well. This the 3rd time I have contacted Moss to handle my plumbing jobs, also drywall job. I am very pleased with completed jobs by Frank. I have planned some other project in Summer for Moss.

Excellent work! It was easy working with the Moss staff - very responsive and professional. Frank did a great job installing two pedestal sinks and repairing some plumbing issues. He was courteous and friendly and his work was top notch. We couldn't be happier with Moss.

They were fine. My wife dealt with them. We got what we wanted. I think the price was right and we don't have any complaints about the work. It was the process to get them out here. I think somebody got hurt doing something else and they were problems with the supplies. We had trouble getting the supplies. We started this process at the end of August and some of it I think was us, we wanted to pick up the materials and not get charged to pick up the materials and the materials weren't available and there was some miscommunication. The day they actually did the work, they were punctual. They cleaned up after themselves. The work was good.

FABULOUS!! I could not have asked for a better experience. The project was to gut the existing kitchen and dining room, found a several year old leaking pipe with water damage and mold. The remediation did NOT affect the project timeline; this was my first WOW! 5 weeks later I had a fully functional, working kitchen in time for Thanksgiving. The entire project team was wonderful to work with .. from Deanna the designer (great ideas and is always focused on keeping you on budget), to John and Dean who were hands on in the build. You cannot ask for a better cabinet man than Dean. His work is pure art. And he doesn't settle for mediocre. We truly felt like he worked on our house the same way he would work on his. The best of all, was our Project Manager Bob. By far the great experience was because of him. He has a great relationship with everyone on his team. He did his best to make sure everything went well according to me .. not anyone elses idea of what I "should" be happy with. Even the water and mold damage didn't feel so painful .. he jumped right in and gave me a plan to fix the situation. His communication with me was impeccable. We spoke every day and more when there were decisions to be made or an issue to troubleshoot. I cannot thank Bob and his team enough for this experience. We are already planning Phase 2 .. master bedroom suite!

I used an Angie's List "handyman special" and it was absolutely worth every penny ($699 for 8 hrs). The process was seamless, from scheduling and discussing projects with Jason, to working with Stan (our handyman) and Frank (our plumber). Stan was punctual (if even a few minutes early) and super friendly. We talked over projects and he actually asked for more work, since he figured he'd be finished early and wanted to maximize the use of his time. Stan also gave me tips and pointers for dealing with other issues he came across while he was here. When it came time to install a bathroom vanity, he called Frank the plumber to see if he could come help, and he was available. Keep in mind, this was NOT part of our original agreement, but out of the goodness of his heart, Frank came to look. The two of them were able to install the vanity and top, plus change out the shut off valves and hook up the new faucet. So efficient! Because Stan had not used all eight hours I paid for, Moss was able to apply the "leftover" time to plumbing work. Even with the extra steps required to fit the vanity to the space, they finished an hour early!! I will definitely use their services again when I need work done. Jason, the coordinator, was so easy to work with and very responsive both by phone and email.

Smoothly and efficiently. Jason Marshall, the Service Manager for Moss Home Services, was attentive to our needs and extremely responsive to our many questions and emails. Stan, the company's handyman, was prompt, thorough, and performed exemplary work. We appreciate the outstanding service from this company and would plan on using them again.

Very happy with the work performed by Moss with remodeling our bathroom. Nick who came out to give us an estimate was great. He was very professional and responsive. Was always prompt with all the questions we had. Bob Keene the project manager was awesome to work with. He is always very communicative and on time. He is extremely easy to work with. Taylor who worked on tiles was great. Was on time every single day. Took great care to clean up at the end of the day. Very good with my puppy. The work performed was great. The bathroom turned out very well and we are very happy with the end result.

Everything went very well. The gentlemen doing the work communicated often about potential issues and suggested improvements along the way. The tile and plumbing work is great and we are very satisfied with the look of the new bathroom.

Both employees were consummate professionals! They were very conscientious about my house and made sure to protect my floor, carpet and furniture. I am very happy with the fantastic job they both did. My ceiling looks brand new!

We needed the project completed within a very short time-frame because of a family emergency. They did a great job. The project manager even stayed late on a Friday to make sure everything was finished up in time to get my mother-in-law moved in after she returned from rehab. They kept us informed about any changes in pricing etc, and they finished ahead of schedule.

The blue team exceeded our expectations! Brian, Nick, Justin and each one showed utmost respect and professionalism. Each was an excellent listener and responded immediately and appropriately. The initial meeting was very good. Very professional approach. I was given a clear idea of how the job would be handled and approximately how long it would take and how much it would cost. My job required only one person at my home. The man they sent was extremely punctual. He was very easy to work with. Answered all my questions, rolled with the small changes I requested. The work is terrific, the closets and bedrooms look fantastic. It's exactly what I asked for. I changed the scope of work a bit just before he began the work, which meant the overall price was lower than the initial quote. There was no problem with my changing the scope of the work. Once the job was completed the project manager called me to see how it went and ask if I was happy with the outcome. Great follow up. I am very happy with the work done at my home and would definitely use this company again. It is so great to work with contractors who return your phone calls and show up exactly when they say they will. And not to mention, do great work. Win-win-win for me.

They did a fantastic job, very professional. We had an issue with needing extra caulking and he just went and did it. Above and beyond and they simply took care of it.

They did caulking around my shower-tub and toilet, weatherstripping around my front door and repaired a light fixture. They are great and I will highly recommend them.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with their handyman services. I had to cancel once because I ended up in the hospital and they knew I had company coming from overseas and they accommodated me by fitting me in the following week. Dana ( who I worked with on scheduling) was extremely professional, helpful and just a pleasure to work with. Mike was the gentleman who came out to do the work and just like Dana a joy - he worked really hard and checked in with me through out the day and understood my priorities in getting things done. Because of my medical situation, Mike even helped in carrying things from one area to the next to help me out. I can't say enough good things. This was the first time I had used Moss and utilized the coupon from Angie's List - so as far as I'm concerned a phenomenal price for all the work that Mike did - he was worth a lot more. Wish I would have found these guys sooner!
