Excellent service from technician Marcus Newby! Arrived on time after calling earlier to alert me he was on his way. Performer job of gutter and roof inspection and cleaning providing both before and after photos. Courteous and provided info on other services as well as scheduling services early throughout the year. I Will use this service again and will request Marcus!!

American Home Contractors completed my entire roof replacement in 1 day. The crew was friendly, considerate, and paid attention to each detail. Wilfredo, site foreman, communicated with me through the day, and I had a link to photos of the ongoing work periodically all day. Tyler, one of the VPs, also texted promptly and spoke to me a number of times when I asked for details. Everything went smoothly and the clean up was amazing..my deck and yard are cleaner now than when they arrived ;) I had 3 other estimates for this project, and I am very pleased with my choice; no other would have done a better job. I will definitely reach AHC for future projects.

I first met with Tyler Griffin when looking to replace my roof. He was professional, personable and thorough; providing me with options, quality of products, and no pressure. I believed Tyler would make sure the job was done with the highest of standards and I was right. Austin was on time, polite, and explained what the require repairs that are needs to improve my home water tight quality. Austin and the company are awesome to work with and worked around my schedule. You can't go anywhere else if you want a good customer service.

I had a great experience working with Tyler from American Home Contractors. My roof was in really bad condition and he helped me understand the process and gave me options for replacing it to meet my budget. The roofing crew was very careful to protect my home with tarps and my new roof is beautiful. When Tyler came to inspect the work he even took time to take apart my old exterior light fixture to change the bulb. I highly recommend American Home Contractors for all of your exterior home needs!

The project: roof tune-up and repair, technician Melvin arrived on time, very courteous and proffesional. He did an excellent job, send me pictures of the roof before and after of the job. I will recomend and use American Home contractors again.

If anyone ever said home contractors arenâ  t honest, thorough, dependable, fair, and/or customer-oriented, theyâ  d be wrong - and obviously havenâ  t dealt with American Home Contractors. We couldnâ  t have been more pleased from the on-set. After noticing water damage in our garage ceiling, we contacted the Virginia branch of AHC for a quote to replace our nearly 18-year-old roof. Tyler Griffin came out to inspect the area in question and then promptly provided us with an estimate, accompanied by a myriad of pictures that demonstrated the source of the problem. There was no high-pressure salesmanship â  just honest discussion about options and pricing. Kudos also to the crews led by Wilfredo (roofing) and Carlos (drywall). From the initial inspection to the day of installation, and from the replacement of the water-damaged drywall to a post-installation meeting with Tyler, we were impressed. The quality of workmanship demonstrated by the roofing crew (from the care taken to protect our house/perennial gardens/deck and patio prior to installation to the thorough clean-up later that day) was remarkable. Drywall repairs to the garage ceiling were efficiently completed shortly thereafter, including taped joints that frankly look better than the original. In short, American Home Contractors demonstrated integrity, pride in workmanship and competitive pricing. We highly recommend them.

They arrived at 7 am and got right to work tarping around the house before removing the old roof. The install seemed to go very smoothly and they finished in 1 day. Once they cleaned up, it looked like they were never there... except for the new roof. It looks great. Very happy with the experience from start to finish.

I requested a roof inspection from AHC, Inc, after noticing some water stains in a portion of an upstairs bedroom. Technician Austin Bunnell did a very thorough job in locating areas where moisture had accumulated, clearing out moss and other debris and caulking areas as needed. He even removed the base of an old satellite dish that had not been taken down as planned - and did NOT charge extra for this additional task. He was respectful of our household, wearing protective mask and foot covers upon entry. Am considering a similar inspection of a rental property and will undoubtedly engage AHC for this work as well.

We found American Home Contractors on Home Advisor, and are glad we did. Prompt service, nice people, quality work and materials and a fair price. Totally transparent in dealing with them. Highly remmend.

We had American Home Contractors replace our roof (with architectural tiles), gutter system (to 6" with micromesh covers) and rear patio door (from inward opening to a sliding glass French door). Tyler, his administrative staff and all contractors were excellent! Tyler visited our home (masks and social distancing due to COVID-19) to assess the project specifics then set up a Zoom conference to walk through the details. We had three other companies also visit and provide their quotes; American Home Contractors was not the least expensive nor most expensive (another contractor quoted MORE THAN DOUBLE AHC's price!) but were clearly the best prepared, most professional presentation. Tyler and his team responded rapidly to all queries and were responsive to price negotiation. The day before roofing was to begin, AHC's supplier brought all materials to the house and used a crane to place the boxed shingles on the roof for the next day's workers. They arrived before 7am and began work at 7, placing tarps around the entire home (we were informed days before to clear areas around the home) and rapidly removed the existing tiles and removed and replaced worn wood sheeting. Tiles were then installed. The entire time, two workers were constantly cleaning up job debris and sweeping the yard with magnetic devices to retrieve loose nails. Workers finished at 6pm. Gutter removal and install was the next day--very quick install with the micromesh addition that will eliminate my multiple roof excursions to clear leaves from the clogged gutters. Nice touch--contractors painted all self-tapping screw heads to match gutter color. First heavy downpour and they worked as advertised. Lastly, rear patio door team arrived on another scheduled day (they did survey the job a week or so earlier--facemasks again the norm--to measure the area and assure no issues) and quickly removed the existing door, removed and replaced the rotted door sill, and installed the new sliding door and trim--all within two hours. All work quality and finish was better than expected. We're very pleased with the work, price, and value and will certainly consider AHC for all future home repair/upgrade work!

I had a great experience with American Home Contractors to do a full on replacement of the roof on my townhouse. They did a terrific job from beginning to end. Great, fast service! Nice crew!

The installer crew was EXCELLENT. They arrived about 2 and went straight to work, finished at 3:30 and cleaned up, even sweeping the walkway. The estimator was very knowledgeable, revising my drainage layout to solve a water problem in my garage.
