My appointment was at 3p.m. Rob Howard showed up at 2:15 p.m. eta. He was extremely professional. He cleaned one gutter and inspected the other gutters on my house. He said to me that the gutters don't need to be cleaned except one. However, to get my moneys worth he found holes on the roof, and the the exhaust pipe rubber cover was worn out, he installed a new piece of rubber, and sealed all the holes on my roof. This company is amazing, and I highly recommend them. The job was amazing!

Austin, my AHC inspector, came by today, was actually a few minutes early, and proceeded to do a thorough inspection of my roof. He went out of his way to assess my roof AND to adjust my TV antenna, which had become misaligned over time and needed a *tweak* to pick up the local TV channels. I cannot say enough good things about AHC and my inspector, Austin. Great, great customer service!

Alex provided phenomenal customer service. Without doubt the most honest, straightforward project manager I have met. You can trust this company to do the right thing. Definitely recommend them for any job you need done.

Rob did a great job with the "Premium Gutter Service" I purchased through Groupon. Very satisfied with Rob's work. Took pictures of the gutters (after cleanup).

Alex is an excellent professional, and good listener. He is knowledgeable, and willing to explain all about the process and materials to be used for the roof replacement. And, as promised, AHC delivered within the week my insurance company approved the project, and I signed the contract. Great response from all parties involved. Excellent crews, roofing and gutter.

This is a great company. Very professional employees. Oscar Rivas was great - on time, professional and knowledgeable. Getting a roof inspection was one of the best decisions I have made as a homeowner. Oscar discovered several minor issues, but left unrepaired would have become really big problems. He told me what was wrong, what he was going to do and then took pictures so I could see what was done. He even told be about my damaged furnace vent which I will get repaired immediately. I would recommend AHC for roofing. I cannot say anything about their other services, but if I needed new siding or gutters, etc. I would call them first.

We replaced our roof in May 2018 and got 4 detailed estimates (some from Home Advisor and some from USAA Insurance company recommendations). We ultimately chose American Home Contractors based primarily on two criteria: (1) The professionalism of Tyler Griffin, VA President, and (2) best price on top quality Timberline product. Some highlights of the experience and the reason for 5 stars: Tyler was great to work with and was one of the only people to actually get on the roof and get a detailed evaluation of the roof; He was also the only one to point out important resale info about the 50 year Timberline warranty; great install and care and protection of property; and honoring schedule commitments – everything happened exactly when they said it would (from delivery to install). Tyler was very honest and straightforward, even in recognition that not everything goes exactly to plan but is dedicated to making things right. This included accidental damage to gutter over garage that Tyler committed to replace as soon as I pointed it out during install. However, we both forgot to follow through on this item until a few months later with all the rain that we got in Sep 2018. I called Tyler to remind him and point out another issue with clogged 2nd story downspout filled with asphalt shingle granules. Even after a few months, no questions asked – both issues got resolved within a couple days with no charges. I did not receive any discounts or other consideration for this review – just felt compelled to pass on the very positive experience, especially seeing some not great experience by some neighborhood installs that did not go as well with some of the storm chaser companies. Highly recommend AHC – ask for Tyler!

The experience from beginning to end was very positive. They came out and worked directly with the insurance company to ensure all damage that needed to be repaired was addressed. They were flexible in payment terms to match the timing and pay structure of the insurance company. Even the adjuster remarked how professional and easy to work with AHC was. They really took care of everything and I had very little need to worry or do anything. I would highly recommend these guys!!!!!

We used their Roofing Tune-up service. Paul was an excellent tech very respectful of the property, quick, and informative. Very good after action report with plenty of pictures, and no hard sell on follow-ups.

They were very efficient. They came in the morning and were done with repairing my roof that same day. The only challenge I ran into was scheduling. There was a little confusion on the dates. Overall they were great to work with. They were able to give me a good price for the roof and gutter guards.

Finding an honest roofer is hard. The fact that they broke out a rubbermaid box with example materials that they will be installing on my roof, and that they were so low pressure made me at ease. This was a no brainer hire.

American Home Contractors are the best. Never felt any pressure at any time to commit to spending a dime, which I find extremely refreshing in today’s high pressure sale tactics. Responded promptly to every request that I asked of them and in the end, I was so pleased that I’m now planning to hire them to replace all the windows and patio doors in my house. Thank you AHC!!

Tyler, Daniel, Darwin, and the entire American Home Contractors team (managers and workers) are super awesome people. They are very easy to work with, super professional, and extremely responsive. Tyler provided a thorough estimate with detailed presentation and he meticulously made sure that the project was thoroughly completed. Daniel and Darwin made sure the project was completed in a timely manner. And, they made sure everything was cleaned up at the end. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work that was performed. And, I am very happy that American Home Contractors completed everything they agreed to for the price that was originally agreed upon. I will choose American Home Contractors again in the future because of Tyler, Daniel, and Darwin. Thank you for superb work, guys!!!

Nice people and did a good job replacing my roof. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I was not mentioned in advance I was going to need new gutters shields.

When I was checking out contractors I asked each of them for a comprehensive estimate knowing our roof was pretty bad most likely needing a complete tear down to the rafters. AHC was the only company to give us a complete quote for the job. Other companies would give a price then another for each sheet of plywood and so on. We decided on AHC with the detail of the quote along with the materials offered for the job which were great. They had the job completed and moved up in the schedule due to storms for the originally scheduled day which was a blessing considering as I write this we are under a tornado watch with a new and improved roof overhead. Team was great and everything cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely be calling them again in the weeks ahead to get my old siding replaced.

Tyler Griffin was my personal contact with American Home Contractors. He was super helpful, I had 8 contractors come to my house and he was the only one that actually went up on the roof to inspect it! His personal touch made it an easy decision to go with his company, plus his price was super competitive. I would recommend him and his company to anyone needing a new roof.
